I believe the State of Ohio is out now labeling all the Benches in the state. I can see it now, "Bench 2 @ corner of Taylor and 2nd Avenue painted green". The idiot judge that allowed this is either totally dumb or doing drugs of some kind. Couldn't be grass as only something like ACID could cause this stupidity.

The election is now eight days way. If you've made up your mind for Obama; or if you're trying to noodle through some of the things he's been saying on the campaign trail, this should help. I've taken four statements that The Chosen One repeats at almost every campaign rally. Now these statements are pretty powerful ... if unchallenged ... and we know that the MoveOn Media isn't exactly what we would call "eager" to challenge God's Candidate on any of these issues.
So, here we go again .. this simple talk show host (right wing, hate-filled shock jock, I believe they call us) is going to use some basic logic and the ability to actually read newspapers to catch you up to speed on just what the Big BO is saying here. Now if you're educated in our wonderful government schools you may find this challenging. Stick with it. In spite of what the government has done to you, you can generate some new brain cells that will help you deal with this stuff. It would also help if you got your campaign news from somewhere other than Saturday Night Live.
"I'm going to cut taxes for 95% of Americans."
This Obama promise has already been pretty much debunked in the media. The problem is that it hasn't been debunked on the Black Entertainment Television network or on Inside Edition or Entertainment Tonight. Until these television outlets bring forth the facts most of Obama's supporters won't know the truth.
And what is the truth? The truth is that almost one-half of working Americans eligible to vote don't pay federal income taxes in the first place. This brings forth the interesting question of how do you cut taxes for people who don't pay taxes. What Obama has done here is change the definition of "tax cut."
It used to be that when the government walked up to someone who had just received their paycheck and said 'Gimme some of that," and the government then gave that money to someone else who had not earned it; that was called welfare. Now apparently you can't get welfare if you're working ... so we'll just call it income seizure and redistribution. Under Obama a couple earning, for example, $70,000 and owing no federal income taxes at all will get several checks from Obama's federal taxpayer-funded treasury. These checks will be called "tax cuts."
So .. for those who don't pay taxes, here are some of the "tax cut" checks you'll be getting from The Chosen One. I'm taking some literary license here and replacing the words "tax credit" with the word "payment." That literary flourish brings us much closer to the truth. Here are your goodies; come and get 'em:
A $500 "make work pay" payment.
A $4,000 payment for college tuition.
A payment equal to 10% of your mortgage interest
A payment equal to 50% of the amount of money you put into a savings account up to $1000.
A payment equal to 50% of the amount of money you pay for child care up to $6000.
A payment of up to $7,000 if you purchase a "clean car." By that Obama means an environmentally correct car.
Plus ... an expansion of the earned income tax credit .. increased payments on top of your earnings if the government doesn't feel you are earning enough.
There you go ... Obama's "tax cuts." Sounds pretty good, doesn't it. Well, I guess it is, if you're not too successful it IS pretty good. Remember, the harder you work the lower these payments get. Barack Obama's tax plans are all about punishing success and rewarding failure. He understands that if it weren't for failures, Democrats would be scrounging in the alleys for votes.
It's rather ironic that the Obama campaign will go to the mat with critics over the definition of "socialist," but feel absolutely free to change the definition of "tax cut" to anything that suits them.
"95% of small businesses won't pay any more taxes."
Once people started hearing that the very people that Obama wanted to raise taxes on are the people we depend on for jobs, The BO campaign had to come up with a line to neuter the "small business" argument. Barack Obama knows he's in trouble if the voters find out that 70% of all extant jobs are in the small business sector and that 80% of all new jobs are coming from small businesses. So, Obama comes up with this line about 95% of small businesses not paying any more taxes under his plan.
Here's the trick. Let me illustrate reality with a simple comparison. Let's say that we have 1000 small businesses. About 950 of them, that would be 95%, employ one or two people each for a total employment figure of 1,200. Now let's assume that the other 50 businesses employ anywhere from 20 people to hundreds of people for a total of about 250,000 workers. If someone comes along and says 95% of small businesses won't be affected by his tax increases, how do you feel? You know that the tax increase is going to slam those businesses that employ 250,000 workers, while leaving the 95% of businesses that employ just 1,200 people alone. Quite a deal, huh. Aren't you impressed?
The point here is that it's not the percentage of small businesses your tax increases hit, it's the percentage of small business employees. Unfortunately that nuance is lost on the majority of voters educated by the government, and the MoveOn Media sure isn't going to take the time to explain it to you. Obama's tax increases are going to hit the small business owners who employ the most people. They are the ones that make the most money. These business owners are going to respond to the tax increases one of two ways. They'll increase prices -- which hit all of us -- or they'll cut expenses. Their number one expense? Personnel. Vote for Obama, say TTFN to your job. Makes perfect sense to me, but then I was government educated too.
"John McCain voted with George Bush 90% of the time."
First of all, George Bush doesn't cast votes in the U.S. Senate, though McCain and Obama do. The best way to judge how they vote is to see how often they vote with their respective parties. You might want to get those nuisance resolutions proclaiming the need for a colonoscopy every once in a while out of the way. That would leave some key votes for you to consider. The Congressional Research Service did the work. They looked at votes for Obama and McCain on KEY issues. The results? Barack Obama voted with Democrats 97% of the time. John McCain voted with the Republicans 79% of the time. Now .. just sit on your hands and wait for the MoveOn Media to report that one. Sit on your hands, but for God's sake don't hold your breath.
"John McCain wants to tax your health insurance benefits."
He's right, but here's the rest of the story. Let's say that you and your brother work for different companies. Your company provides you with health insurance. Your brother has to buy his own. Your boss gets a tax deduction for the cost of your health insurance. Your brother does not get a tax deduction for the cost of his health insurance. In effect, he is paying much more than you are for the same policy. Not fair. There's a reason for this. For decades government has wanted to coerce you into getting insurance through your employer. This gets you acclimated to the idea of someone else -- someone besides yourself -- is responsible for your health care. The end result is that the government, in effect, subsidizes the cost of your health insurance, but not your brother's. Now McCain has this idea of a $5,000 tax credit for every family to pay for their own health insurance policy. To make this work everyone has to start from the same starting line. Remember, you're subsidized, your brother is not. So McCain takes away the tax deduction your employer gets for your health insurance. There ... now we're all of equal standing when the $5,000 tax credits start coming out.
Now that wasn't too hard, was it?
Now .. just in case you've read something here, heard something on my show or gathered some information from some other source that might cause you to switch your vote from Obama to McCain ... just remember. You're a racist. There is only one reason NOT to vote for Barack Obama, and that's if you're a robe-wearing, cross-burning Klansman. Just so you know. You're going to have that on your conscience.

We now have a presidential candidate who talks openly of increasing taxes not because the government needs the money, but because the people who do have the money don't actually deserve it and there are other people out there who need it more. The warning signs have always been there. In his book Dreams from my Father Obama writes of a relationship he had in is late teens with someone named "Frank." For some reason Obama doesn't include his last name. Obama refers to Frank as "a poet" who was full of "hard-earned knowledge." He also says that Frank had "some modest notoriety once." Yeah, I'll say. Frank was Frank Marshall Davis was a member of the CPUSA. For those of you who don't like acronyms, that's Communist Party of the United States of America. Frank Marshall Davis ... some mentor, don't you think?
For all of you suburban housewives and country clubbers who think that you are just so, like, enlightened for voting for Obama, it's time for your wake up call ... though I don't know if it will help:
Barack Obama's core belief is that we belong not to ourselves, but to government. We are tools that the government is free to use to bring about what Obama calls "economic justice." The fruits of our labor belong to government ... and government can do with them what it pleases.
Now if this is your philosophy, then vote for this guy. Then every time you draw a paycheck why don't you drop him a line and ask him how much of it you can keep to care for your family and plan for your own future and how much he would like to have to redistribute to someone who sat on their butt while you were busting yours. After all, you voted for him.
AND HOLD ON TO YOUR PENSIONS WHILE YOU'RE AT IT
Some interesting happenings last week. Argentina proposes seizing all private pensions. The purpose? That would be to redistribute all of that money to people who actually need it more. Now I've exhausted my Google capabilities trying to identify this person, I believe it was Barney Frank, but some leading Democrat last week said that the pensions belonging to some evil CEOs would be the first to go. That's just the beginning folks. Mark my words, because I want the "I told you so" on this one, after Obama is sworn in you are going to see an attack on privately held pensions and 401K plans. There's about four or five trillion dollars out there, and the Democrats want their hands on it to further their redistribution schemes.
FINALLY, A REPORTER WITH SOME ONIONS (WELL, FIGURATIVELY ANYWAY)
A TV reporter in Central Florida actually asked Joe Biden questions that we have waited so long for the MSM to ask ... and the Obama-Biden campaign isn't pleased. Last Thursday, Barbara West conducted a satellite interview with Joe Biden. You can watch the (Boortz Site has link) interview here.
West asked Biden about Obama's "spread the wealth" comment. She quoted Karl Marx and asked Biden whether Obama's comments were Marxist. Biden's response: "Are you joking?" West also asked Biden about his comments that Obama would be tested by an international crisis early in his presidency. His response to that: "I don't know who is writing your questions."
It doesn't matter who is writing the questions, Joe. What matters is that these are the questions that many Americans have been wanted answers to ... but nobody has dared to ask.
In fact, Biden was so upset by the interview, that the Obama campaign canceled an interview with Jill Biden, Joe's wife, because it was unhappy with West's questions.
Here's what the Obama campaign had to say about the interview. Notice how the Obama campaign has reacted to radio and TV stations that run unflattering ads or ask tough questions – ban them, ask the Justice Department to get involved, get a hold of their advertisers. This is just the beginning, folks.
"There's nothing wrong with tough questions, but reporters have the very important job of sharing the truth with the public -- not misleading the American people with false information. Senator Biden handled the interview well; however, the anchor was completely unprofessional. Senator Biden's wife is not running for elected office, and there are many other stations in the Orlando television market that would gladly conduct a respectful and factual interview with her."
"This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election."
So by asking these questions, West is deemed "unprofessional." How about those reporters who reported on Sarah Palin's children, or her days as a beauty queen? Those reports are not unprofessional, but when you ask a Vice Presidential candidate about tax policy ... THAT is unprofessional.
IT WAS A HOAX
I saved this email from Brian Duffy, just so I can say "I told you so." On Friday, I talked about the report that a girl in Pittsburgh had been attacked and a "B" had been carved into her face. I mentioned that something didn't smell right with this story, and I was skeptical, as was Royal. Then I got this email:

So how do you feel now, Brian? On Friday it was confirmed that Ashley Todd made up the entire story. She is nothing but a loose screw. The girl has a history of this kind of behavior. In fact, before she was sent to Pittsburgh as a representative for the College Republican National Committee ... she had been fired from her job working for the Ron Paul campaign in Texas. Working for the Ron Paul campaign, she would call up other campaigns at the time and ask for information about their strategies. Earlier this month, Todd sent an email to her Ron Paul pals saying that her tires had been slashed and campaign paraphernalia had been stolen from her car ... because she was a Ron Paul supporter.
DO YOU WANT TO START A NEW BUSINESS?
The Talkmaster is fixin' to give you entrepreneurs out there some pretty gosh-darned good advice here, but I'm strongly urging you to wait until after we know the results of this election before you act. Make plans, but don't act. If McCain wins, all bets are off.

Remember, this entire Annenberg Challenge thing that Obama was running in Chicago was an effort to radicalize Chicago government schools. What do you think will happen when Obama's Department of Education starts its magic! GIVE IT UP
For those of you who are still sending us the emails about Obama's birth certificate ... give it up. Barack Obama is a US citizen. He is not a Muslim. Although he is a Marxist, I'll give you that much.
On Friday, a federal judge dismissed the lawsuit brought by Philip Berg. The judge ruled that Berg lacked standing to bring the case, saying that any harm that would come from an ineligible candidate was "too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters."
OK, SO WE ARE LOOKING INTO THIS STORY
There is another story out there circulating the blogs. A staff writer for the LA Times by the name of Peter Wallsten has reported on another Barack Obama association. This time it is Barack Obama, five years ago, celebrating with a group of Palestinians who are openly hostile towards Israel. At this celebration, Barack Obama apparently gave a toast to a former PLO operative by the name of Rashid Khalidi. Oh and also attending this "celebration": Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn. While Wallsten has written about this in the LA Times, he also claims to have a video of Obama at this celebration ... but he won't release the video.
Is this just another Michelle Obama "whitey" situation? We'll see if the pressure to release this video actually works ... and if it is truly what he says it is.
But hey ... even if it is true, look for 60% of Jewish voters to go for Obama. Liberalism trumps religion.

That's just the beginning folks. Mark my words, because I want the "I told you so" on this one, after Obama is sworn in you are going to see an attack on privately held pensions and 401K plans. There's about four or five trillion dollars out there, and the Democrats want their hands on it to further their redistribution schemes.

A TV reporter in Central Florida actually asked Joe Biden questions that we have waited so long for the MSM to ask ... and the Obama-Biden campaign isn't pleased. Last Thursday, Barbara West conducted a satellite interview with Joe Biden. You can watch the (Boortz Site has link) interview here.
West asked Biden about Obama's "spread the wealth" comment. She quoted Karl Marx and asked Biden whether Obama's comments were Marxist. Biden's response: "Are you joking?" West also asked Biden about his comments that Obama would be tested by an international crisis early in his presidency. His response to that: "I don't know who is writing your questions."
It doesn't matter who is writing the questions, Joe. What matters is that these are the questions that many Americans have been wanted answers to ... but nobody has dared to ask.
In fact, Biden was so upset by the interview, that the Obama campaign canceled an interview with Jill Biden, Joe's wife, because it was unhappy with West's questions.
Here's what the Obama campaign had to say about the interview. Notice how the Obama campaign has reacted to radio and TV stations that run unflattering ads or ask tough questions – ban them, ask the Justice Department to get involved, get a hold of their advertisers. This is just the beginning, folks.

So by asking these questions, West is deemed "unprofessional." How about those reporters who reported on Sarah Palin's children, or her days as a beauty queen? Those reports are not unprofessional, but when you ask a Vice Presidential candidate about tax policy ... THAT is unprofessional.

I saved this email from Brian Duffy, just so I can say "I told you so." On Friday, I talked about the report that a girl in Pittsburgh had been attacked and a "B" had been carved into her face. I mentioned that something didn't smell right with this story, and I was skeptical, as was Royal. Then I got this email:

On Friday, a federal judge dismissed the lawsuit brought by Philip Berg. The judge ruled that Berg lacked standing to bring the case, saying that any harm that would come from an ineligible candidate was "too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters."

At this celebration, Barack Obama apparently gave a toast to a former PLO operative by the name of Rashid Khalidi. Oh and also attending this "celebration": Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn. While Wallsten has written about this in the LA Times, he also claims to have a video of Obama at this celebration ... but he won't release the video.
Is this just another Michelle Obama "whitey" situation? We'll see if the pressure to release this video actually works ... and if it is truly what he says it is.

Couldn't Help Myself
Just think, it's almost over-no more campaign ads, no more phones calls, no more emails but this is worth thinking about.
Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read 'Vote Obama, I need the money.' I laughed. Once in the restaurant my server had on a 'Obama 08' tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference--just imagine the coincidence.
When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside.
The server angrily stormed from my sight. I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I've decided he could use the money more.
The homeless guy was grateful. At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient needed money more.
I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical app.

Schumer the Idiot

Colin Powell Chose Color Over Integrity
At one time I respected Colin Powell as a leader of men and a respected military man. Now he is just a person who sold out and switched their political party because of color. Yes I said color and some may say even worse. It is my understanding that Powell had been a conservative most if not all his adult life.
I call Powell a racist because he switched because of color only and not what policies Obama supports. Going from a conservative to vote for the most liberal democrat is not likely except for selling out due to color.
He's not the only former Conservative who has done this. I also understand another conservative J.C. Watts is also supporting Obama the Liberal. Two of the most conservative republicans become supporters of the most liberal democrat can only led us to believe it is for color only. Yes, this election is becoming an election on color partially and in the future I believe it will only get worse.
Please don't call me a racist also as I would have voted for Ms. Rice, and I thought J.C. Watts would have been an excellent VP if selected but now because of his support for the most liberal Senator, he should not longer be mentioned as a Republican but line up with the democrats. He decided color was more important then integrity. Mr. Steel is another man of color that I would have supported if I could have voted for him. I try to look at everyone as an American not at their color. I wasn't brought up to see color, only the person.
When I see Obama I see color as he made it an issue and reading various books about him he made color a very large thing in his life. He's like some people in the south that still have the confederate flag. America has no place for people like him or those with the confederate flag. Until blacks and whites get over what happened over 200 years ago, nothing will change.

Elect Obama if You Want Socialism
This election is coming down to the form of government we want. The choices may not seem clear but if we listen to Obama and read some of his past history we will learn he is fundamentally a Socialist. The people that influenced him, the friends he associated with and the teachings he was exposed to show way he follows a "Spread the Wealth" thinking.
I don't blame him for being a socialist but I do hold him responsible for not being honest with the American people. Our country has never embraced this form of government and now we have someone I will call him the "Stealth Socialist" running for president. Should this man be elected I am not sure what will happen to this country and form of government we know. Right now we are hanging by a thread from going socialist because of the democrats and their liberal ideas. Our founding fathers never envisioned our country as it has become today with government being inside every one's life. We use to be a free people with limited government intrusion and redistribution of our money. That is about to change and it won't be for the good of anyone. The day may come where we have to fight for our freedom again. Vote for freedom not socialism as Barack Hussein Obama preaches.

Stop the Taxes
The latest data shows that a big portion of the federal income tax burden is shouldered by a small group of the very richest Americans.
The wealthiest 1 percent of the population earn 19 percent of the income but pay 37 percent of the income tax. The top 10 percent pay 68 percent of the tab.
What would happen if the top 1 percent decided not to work for one year of take any income. Do you think we could bring Washington to its knees? If the crooks there don't have the money, they can't spend it. They would either cut wasteful spending or raise taxes on the rest of us. What would be better is if the top 10 percent ceased working for one year and the government lost 68 percent of the taxes paid. If you don't work and live off your savings for one year, "We The People" just might bring the politicians to their knees. They just might have to listen to the people they work for and not do as they damn well please to.

The number of tax filers who claimed taxable income of more than $1 million increased from approximately 180,000 in 2003 to over 300,000 in 2005. The total taxes paid by these millionaire households rose by about 80 percent in two years, from $132 billion to $236 billion.

Obama wins and we should all thank the Supreme idiot Justice Stevens. He has now allowed voter fraud to become the way elections are held in this country. I suggest we request UN Monitors at all voting stations to assure anyone can vote even Mickey Mouse. Maybe we can get another traitor to our country like Jimmy Carter to monitor the polls.
What a joke we have become as a country when our laws are so screwed up that fraud can take place during elections and the top court OKs it.
My father served in WWII and Korea as a Lt Commander in the Pacific. Many times he would tell me that sooner of later the American people would have to take up arms against our government as our freedoms are slowly being taken. That was in the 60's and since then we have only seen more freedoms taken. Being much younger I thought he was very wrong and it would never happen. Didn't believe it then but now, not sure what will happen. As my time is passing I just hope it doesn't start while I'm still here.

What a joke we have become as a country when our laws are so screwed up that fraud can take place during elections and the top court OKs it.
My father served in WWII and Korea as a Lt Commander in the Pacific. Many times he would tell me that sooner of later the American people would have to take up arms against our government as our freedoms are slowly being taken. That was in the 60's and since then we have only seen more freedoms taken. Being much younger I thought he was very wrong and it would never happen. Didn't believe it then but now, not sure what will happen. As my time is passing I just hope it doesn't start while I'm still here.
If the American people don't get off their butts and take our government from the liberal judges, and the part of government that wants to run everything, it will happen. What do you think Washington, Jefferson, Jackson, or Madison would say about what we have done to our liberties?

Joe the Plumber & Sarah Palin - Just Americans
A normal America scares all democrats because WE don't want Washington to take care of us. What makes Joe real is he is like Sarah Palin and both are just ordinary Americans. Not from the elite, not from Washington, or the left coast. They are both folks that we can all relate to. This is something that the Democrats just can't understand. The great silent majority needs to step forward and do it now. America needs your vote before it is too late. Electing Obama will be the beginning of the end. He wants to take your money and pass it around to others that don't have as much. Isn't this called welfare? The founding fathers never intended to for us to work hard and then give our earnings to others that just won't work as hard.

Ohio Secretary of State Promotes Voter Fraud
Has anyone heard about the Secretary of Voter Fraud? It is Ms. Brunner of Ohio and I know she has a title but her actions cry for her to be removed from office. She allows fraud, promotes fraud and provides assistance to those that commit fraud. She previously stated she would not appeal the Federal Court ruling and now she is going to the Supreme Court. It has been reported over 200,000 are in question at this time. This joke of a Secretary knew about the fraud but chose to turn her back as it was helping the Messiah and didn't care what the people of her state really wanted. In the old days she would have been treated with tar and feathers but today we just toss them out. Do we ever miss the good old days?
She should be held up as the poster child for voter fraud.

Bailout Bull from Both Parties
The information below was sent by one the Reps. who voted against the bailout and tried to save the America Taxpayer. Even when they tried to pass a simple bill to bailout some bad loans, they couldn't help themselves but spending money on nonsense. Again the American people pay. We need to find the bums in congress and remove them by vote or recall.

When Will We Sour On The Sweeteners?

With all the attention last week focused on the massive $700 billion bailout bill that the administration and Democrat leadership were pushing through Congress, there was little notice of the $110 billion in pork added to bait members of Congress into voting for the package.
The bailout bill was bad enough — a short-sighted bill that took a risky gamble with our children's future.
Instead of addressing the credit problems in ways that would minimize the exposure and risk for American taxpayers, Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson rolled the dice in a big, flashy way.
Not to be outdone, Congress added its own flare — $110 billion in sweeteners to buy the votes necessary to pass the bill.
I suppose the premise was that when you're spending $700 billion and lifting the debt limit already, what's an additional $110 billion between friends? And Congress wonders why the American people are so cynical about their government.
What Relief?
Don't get me wrong. I'm all for tax relief. We should be cutting taxes and providing tax incentives to spur economic growth. Some of the tax provisions added to this bill were not only perfectly legitimate, but absolutely necessary.
For instance, the alternative minimum tax (AMT) was never meant to hit the middle class, yet because Congress failed to index it to inflation each year, it hurts more and more middle-class families. I support its repeal.
Other tax provisions added to this bill were much more insidious. Taxpayers for Common Sense, a nonpartisan advocacy organization, recently published a top 10 list of the mind-blowing tax provisions added to the Wall Street bailout. Some of these provisions will make your blood boil.
At a time when our nation's middle class is struggling to make ends meet — due to high taxes and rising fuel and food costs — the last thing American families need are more of their hard-earned tax dollars going to ridiculous programs that encourage Washington's irresponsible spending habits.
One tax provision is for wooden arrows used in bow-and-arrow sets for kids. The Joint Committee on Taxation stated this tax exemption would cost an estimated $2 million over a 10-year period. Interestingly enough, a company in Oregon makes these toys and stands to gain about $200,000 as a result of this provision, according to news reports.
Another provision would let the owners of motor sports tracks write off their racing facilities over a seven-year depreciation timetable. The two-year extension would cost a whopping $100 million.
Another provision would extend for two years a rebate against excise taxes on rum imported from the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. That's $192 million.
Then there's $148 million for five more years of suspended duty on wool products and $478 million over 10 years for incentives for film and TV production.
There's even $10 million in the bill to provide a fringe benefit for bicycle commuters. I suppose that would be the Democrats' energy plan as well.
The endless list proves exactly what it is about business as usual in Washington that the American people so despise.
The administration and congressional leadership said we had no choice but to pass this bill. Not one of them said this was a good bill. They all said they would hold their nose and vote yes because they had to.
They lamented the fact that they had to spend so much of the taxpayers' money to fix the credit crunch. Then without blinking they loaded this supposedly must-pass bill with special projects pushed by lobbyists and members of Congress.
When will it stop? What happens the next time Wall Street wants a handout from Uncle Sam to make up for its risky behavior?
Washington has been quick to approve bailouts for other Wall Street giants, like Bear Stearns ($29 billion) and AIG ($85 billion) when they came around with their tin cup. Next time, Washington is presented with another must-pass bailout, will Congress tack on more sweeteners at the expense of the taxpayers?
The fact is, Congress voted for a bailout package that put today's taxpayers and tomorrow's taxpayers further into debt. Congress didn't need to add insult to injury and force still more financial obligations on taxpayers.
This was an incredibly serious matter, and if ever there was a time for business as usual to be left on a shelf, this was it.
Hit The Brake
The political games in Washington must come to an end. Extras like these tax sweeteners should not be thrown in to attract votes and appease special interests. It's time the Capitol started working to protect the taxpayers, not pick their wallets.
I know that a million here and a million there doesn't mean much to Washington politicians who are spending billions daily, but it all adds up.
And to a family that can't pay its bills or its mortgage because of an unexpected job loss or because it's just too hard to stretch its paycheck with today's rising costs, being forced to pay more taxes to offset Congress' spending habits might just be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

Obama the Marxist - Redistribution of Wealth
Communism, do any of you remember the word or how about being a Marxist? Brings Obama to mind doesn't it? This is the man who wants to be president of our country and them redistribute money earned by you and give it to people that don't have as much. Redistribution of wealth is one of Karl Marx's teachings if I remember correctly. Some call it Socialism but it is basically the same.
Our parents and grandparents fought communism and many died to protect our country from becoming communists. Did they die for nothing as we are about to hand over the reins to people like Obama, Pelosi, Dodd and so many others who believe like Obama that we should give OUR hard earned money to people that don't have as much. I believe charities are for that and yes, I donate.
Every time I hear this I choke as I came from living in my car at one time to be the owner of an Engineering firm. I received no help from anyone but myself. I got off my ass and worked to be successful. My friends didn't give me money as it was theirs not mine. They worked for it, not me.
Obama is a FRAUD and America needs to wake the HELL UP as it is very scary to think of this man running our country. Sorry about the language but enough is enough. People need to find out who he is, check his past record, check his past, and that will change the vote to Sarah and John. Sarah will be an excellent VP and as an average American she can relate to us. McCain has been in the trenches and is willing to go there again to fight for America. Obama doesn't care about America the free as he wants America the Socialist Country. The man wasn't even born in the US and will not produce a birth certificate to verify he should be allowed to run. All he supplies are reprinted ones and we all know what a computer and printer can do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was born in Kenya not Hawaii as he claims. Check it our, no record of his birth in Hawaii.

Corporal Punishment Response
I recently received a comment (Bush and the Education Mess) about my opinion on education and corporal punishment. My opinion was and still is "It should be allowed". The comment is here and will not be removed so anyone wishing can read and make there own decision about this subject. The person (Sherylbo7) who made the comment stated "I Don't expect you to Post this Comment". Well, lets fool them and leave it for all to read.
I realize many groups believe it doesn't help and only causes the children to become more violent as they grow up. Somehow I can't agree as the generations that allowed Corporal Punishment had less student crime, less crime against the teachers, and less trouble in the classrooms as the students knew there would be a price to pay.
After reading the comment I also realized that many of this group are against corporal punishment are just slightly left of center. Nothing wrong with this but not really surprised. I was sorry to see the ACLU here as they are one of the most hated groups in the country for what they have done. They are another story all by themselves.
I hope everyone remembers Dr. Spock who taught many of us how to raise our children and he spoke up against spanking until he was close to death. Before he passed away, supposedly stated he was wrong and regretted stating children shouldn't be spanked. I have found the statement be was to have made and it is shown below.
If you are older than 40 the name Benjamin Spock is more than familiar. It was Spock that told an entire generation of parents to take it easy, don't discipline your children and allow them to express themselves. Discipline, he told us, would warp a child's fragile ego. Millions followed this guru of child development and he remained unchallenged among child rearing professionals. However, before his death Dr. Spock made an amazing discovery: he was wrong. In fact, he said:"We have reared a generation of brats. Parents aren't firm enough with their children for fear of losing their love or incurring their resentment. This is a cruel deprivation that we professionals have imposed on mothers and fathers. Of course, we did it with the best of intentions.We didn't realize until it was too late how our know-it-all attitude was undermining the self assurance of parents."
Does anyone think the increase in crime in schools, against teachers, and more young people in jail could be due to our permissive society? Lets think for a moment, Children take guns to school, Children take knives to school, parents know nothing, parents don't correct children, teachers get shot, students get shot, but we shouldn't punish as it causes more violence.
We have spent more and received less for education over the last number of years and all anyone can say, is "We Need More Money".

Bush and The Education Mess
I voted for President Bush and shortly after I was disgusted with his Education flip flop. If I remember he was going to close the education department and send the funds back to the states. Pipe dream as he joined with Ted Kennedy and enlarged that department that does nothing but fail our children. We spend more for education and have very little to show for it. Our problem is not for lack of spending, but lack of classroom control. In education the inmates have taken control and we the adults have given our children free rein over the teacher.
Maybe my age is showing but when I was in School (elementary) my teacher was allowed to hand out corporal punishment if required. Our parents weren't afraid to have the teacher paddle our fanny if needed and it was always done in the presence of two teachers. I had two teachers paddle my fanny and I still remember them as very caring people and two of my favorite teachers.
Until the teacher is allowed to control the classroom, nothing will change. More money will be wasted, more teachers will leave the profession and education will fail.

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.
4) the DOW JONES hit a record high--14,000 +
5) American's were buying new cars,taking cruises, vacations overseas, living large!...
But American's wanted 'CHANGE'! So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress and yes--we got 'CHANGE' all right.
In the PAST YEAR:
1) Consumer confidence has plummeted ;
2) Gasoline is now over $4 a gallon & climbing!;
3) Unemployment is up to 5.5% (a 10% increase);
4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS and prices still dropping;
5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
6) as I write, THE DOW is probing another low~~
$2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM THEIR STOCKS, BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS! YES, IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE...AND WE SURE GOT IT!....
REMEMBER THE PRESIDENT HAS NO CONTROL OVER ANY OF THESE ISSUES, ONLY CONGRESS. AND WHAT HAS CONGRESS DONE IN THE LAST TWO YEARS, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

3) Unemployment is up to 5.5% (a 10% increase);
4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS and prices still dropping;
5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
6) as I write, THE DOW is probing another low~~
$2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM THEIR STOCKS, BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS! YES, IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE...AND WE SURE GOT IT!....
REMEMBER THE PRESIDENT HAS NO CONTROL OVER ANY OF THESE ISSUES, ONLY CONGRESS. AND WHAT HAS CONGRESS DONE IN THE LAST TWO YEARS, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Three Men who helped bring down Wall Street
Here is a quick look into 3 former Fannie Mae executives who have brought down Wall Street.
Franklin Raines - Was a Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Fannie Mae. Raines was forced to retire from his position with Fannie Mae when auditing discovered severe irregulaties in Fannie Mae's accounting activities. At the time of his departure The Wall Street Journal noted, ' Raines, who long defended the company's accounting despite mounting evidence that it wasn't proper, issued a statement late Tuesday conceding that 'mistakes were made' and saying he would assume responsibility as he had earlier promised.
News reports indicate the company was under growing pressure from regulators to shake up its management in the wake of findings that the company's books ran afoul of generally accepted accounting principles for four years.' Fannie Mae had to reduce its surplus by $9 billion.
Raines left with a 'golden parachute valued at $240 Million in benefits. The Notice explains how they submitted six years of misleading and inaccurate accounting statements and inaccurate capital reports that enabled them to grow Fannie Mae in an unsafe and unsound manner.' These charges were made in 2006. The Court ordered Raines to return $50 Million Dollars he received in bonuses based on the miss-stated Fannie Mae profits.
Tim Howard - Was the Chief Financial Officer of Fannie Mae. Howard 'was a strong internal proponent of using accounting strategies that would ensure a 'stable pattern of earnings' at Fannie. In everyday English - he was cooking the books. The Government Investigation determined that, 'Chief Financial Officer, Tim Howard, failed to provide adequate oversight to key control and reporting functions within Fannie Mae,'
On June 16, 2006, Rep. Richard Baker, R-La., asked the Justice Department to investigate his allegations that two former Fannie Mae executives lied to Congress in October 2004 when they denied manipulating the mortgage-finance giant's income statement to achieve management pay bonuses. Investigations by federal regulators and the company's board of directors since concluded that management did manipulate 1998 earnings to trigger bonuses. Raines and Howard resigned under pressure in late 2004.
Howard's Golden Parachute was estimated at $20 Million!
Jim Johnson - A former executive at Lehman Brothers and who was later forced from his position as Fannie Mae CEO. A look at the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight's May 2006 report <http://www.ofheo.gov/media/pdf/FNMSPECIALEXAM.PDF on mismanagement and corruption inside Fannie Mae, and you'll see some interesting things about Johnson.
Investigators found that Fannie Mae had hidden a substantial amount of Johnson's 1998 compensation from the public, reporting that it was between $6 million and $7 million when it fact it was $21 million.' Johnson is currently under investigation for taking illegal loans from Countrywide while serving as CEO of Fannie Mae.
Johnson's Golden Parachute was estimated at $28 Million.

Absolutely No Profiling!They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males alone lest they be guilty of profiling.
