What Jeff Foxworthy Says!!!

"YOU MAY BE A TALIBAN IF...
"1. You refine heroin for a living, but you have a moral objection to liquor.
2. You own a $3,000 machine gun and $5,000 rocket launcher, but you can't afford shoes..
3. You have more wives than teeth..
4. You wipe your butt with your bare hand, but consider bacon "unclean."
5. You think vests come in two styles: bullet-proof and suicide.
6. You can't think of anyone you haven't declared Jihad against.
7. You consider television dangerous, but routinely carry explosives in your clothing.
8. You were amazed to discover that cell phones have uses other than setting off roadside bombs.
9. You have nothing against women and think every man should own at least four.
10. You've always had a crush on your neighbor's goat.
11. Your cousin is president of the United States !

Politics!! Truth!! Power!! Greed!!! Forms of Government!! (Dictatorships, Socialism, Republic, Democracy, etc.), Whew! A lot of terms being bandered about.
Where to begin! In the movie American President, “It is not only permissible to question our leaders, it’s our responsibility!” This is where we are, to some degree, but not on the scale we NEED to be. To do so, is to do so at the risk of being called disadents. Based on all that is happening in Washington, are we under the control of a “small or select group of individuals” (Dictatorship)? Reid, Pelosi, Daschel, UNIONS??? A Dictatorship refers to an autocratic form of absolute rule - unrestricted by law, constitutions, or other social and political factors. Apparently exisitng laws and rules mean nothing which puts our own Constitution is at risk. We have a Congress hell bent on passing health care legislation irrigardless of the ramifications/consequences with total disregard of what the majority of Americans want. With respect to Massacheucetts, if a Repulbican wins, lets change the law to delay certification. “Change?” Change and health care reform, yes, but not to this extreme. A perfect example of a dictatorial type of government was Germany from 1933 to 1945 when this country was under the dictatorial rule of Adolf Hitler.
This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Lincoln once said, “Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it or their revolutionary right to dismember or overthrow it. If the founding fathers gave us anything they gave us that.” Hopefully, the grassroots movement and tea party goers are exercising rights that will encourage other to join in and fight..
Ever seen the movie, American President? In one scene the script seems to parallel current events: “People don’t drink the sand because they’re thirsty. They drink the sand because they don’t know the difference.” Another is the fact that there are those “who claim they love America, but clearly can't stand Americans?” “Why would a senator or any Congressman not want to uphold the Constitution? America is advanced citizenship. You gotta want it bad, 'cause it's gonna put up a fight. It's gonna say "You want free speech? Let's see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil, who's standing center stage and advocating at the top of his lungs that which you would” spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours. You want to claim this land as the land of the free?” Free or enslaved by the powers that be. Fear mongering, passing the buck and blaming past administrations. There’s no bipartisanship in solving problems that exist today, just those vying for power and control.
Like what you’ve written, doing some research will post more days to come.
