How true this statement is. The American people have forgotten how true the statement above is and because we have a select, few have taken over our government. They have come to believe they know what we want, know what is best for us, and how to spend our money we work for better they we do. The arrogance of these people is shown almost every time to open their collective mouths.

I don't believe it is limited to just congress, remember Clinton making some statement along the lines that they knew how to spend our money better then we did. You know, before Clinton came along and said that, we had been spending our hard earned money for years without any problem except GOVERNMENT trying to take more and more of it.

Government is the problem and has been for many years. Many in Washington want to take care of us from birth to death. The latter will be decided by some committee that will decide if you are worth the money to be kept alive. Now they want to take over Health Care so they can control more of our freedoms and they will decide who get the best care. Do you really want the same people who can't run Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, US Postal Service handling our health care?

I know a lady who had Ovarian Cancer and if the government was running her health care she would have died. I say this because the health care she had, from the time is was diagnosed to surgery was SIX DAYS. Yes six days, saved her life. The doctors stated that in four months it went from an acorn size to softball. Does anyone really think a government run health care system would have saved her life? Do you want to take a chance with the same people who run SS, Medicare, Medicaid and the Post Office plus others.

Everyone needs to remember "WE THE PEOPLE" run the government and not "Temporary Workers" we placed there. If we ever want to take back control of our country and spending, 2010 is a very important year in history. We either once again take back control and make our Government afraid of "WE THE PEOPLE" or surrender our freedoms to a government who has lost touch with the people and display their arrogance daily.

On your next (2010) tax return! As if we didn't have enough to get upset about! If you have a gun, I hope it isn't registered! Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009 1040 federal tax form all guns that you have or own. It will require fingerprints and a tax of $50 per gun.


This bill was introduced on Feb.. 24, 2009, by the Obama staff. BUT . . This bill will only become public knowledge 30 days after the new law becomes effective! This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009. Even gun shop owners didn't know about this because the government is trying to fly it under the radar as a 'minor' IRS revision, and, as usual, the 'political' lawmakers did not read this bill before signing and approving it!

To find out about this -- go to any government web site and type in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009. You will get all the information. Basically, this would make it illegal to own a firearm -- any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:

It is registered. You are fingerprinted. You supply a current Driver's License. You supply your Social Security Number. You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing. Each update of change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25.

Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail. There is a child provision clause on page 16, Section 305, stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18. They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 years in prison.

As a moderate I have had enough of the two clowns who call themselves Reverend. Yes, I am talking about Sharpton and Jackson the frauds from the pulpit.

They along with others have caused Mr. Limbaugh to be dropped from investing in the St Louis Rams because of what he has said in the past. If we are to be held to this standard then I believe it should also included the two Revs. who only tell the truth when it helps them.

Lets see, Sharpton and Brawley sure rings a bell. Wasn't old AL involved in the lies and fraud that he and others tried to perpetuate against some law enforcement officers? When the truth was uncovered old AL's hands weren't clean. He was so involved in the fraud that took place he was punished by nothing happening to him. Just another day at the office for a joke of a person.

Lets see, guilty of lying and he gets a walk because no one dared to confront him with his lies. The man has been and still is a problem for many Americans as he doesn't want a color blind America because if he did, no one would listen to him again.

Now we come to the another joke, Rev Jackson. He is no minister and has never been a minister in anyone eyes except those who believe anything he says. He is a liar, corporate extortionists and a number of other things but enough has been said about him. Does anyone remember something about a riot at a football game?

We have allowed these two clowns to dictate who can own what, say what, do what in a so called free country. For over forty plus years black Americans have listened to these clowns and what do they have to show. Liberal democrats didn't vote for civil rights, Republicans did. The southern democrats didn't have the courage to stand up and say enough, Republicans did. Al Gores daddy voted AGAINST the civil rights law.

Better stop now as getting off course. One more item, as one of the owners (colts) spoke up and voiced his opinion. He should not throw bricks as he is the one who SLITHERED OUT OF TOWN in the middle of the night to move his team to another city. Talk about gutless.

Open Letter to Maine Senator

I am very sorry you have decided to support a bill that the majority of Americans don't want in it's present state. Washington has lost touch with the very people who elected them and act as if "We the People" have become a joke. You might as well get the constitution and shred it as Obama never heard of it based on what he has done while you and others turn a blind eye.

As an independent I will now support with dollars anyone who runs against you and puts the American People first. Instead of taking time to fix our system you have made it worse. My wife has cancer and is fighting for her life but YOU are allowing Medicare to be cut which could effect her.

Obama talks about savings in Medicare, what a joke. We both know that will never happen. The Government has never run anything that worked as intended. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Post Office, and more that would take all this page to mention don't work because of you and others.

“A high-powered team of Los Angeles attorneys representing President Obama in his effort to keep his birth certificate, college records and passport documents concealed from the public has suggested there should be “monetary sanctions” against a lawyer whose clients have brought a complaint alleging Obama doesn’t qualify for the Oval Office under the Constitution’s demand for a “natural born” citizen in that post.

The suggestion came in an exchange of e-mails and documents in a case brought by former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others in California. The case originally sought to have the state’s electors ordered to withhold their votes for Obama until his eligibility was established. Since his inauguration, it has been amended to seek a future requirement for a vetting process, in addition to the still-sought unveiling of Obama’s records.

In the case, being handled largely by Gary Kreep of the U.S. Justice Foundation, he recently subpoenaed the records documenting the attendance by Obama, or possibly the student when he was known as Barry Soetero, from Occidental College.

The lawyer for the college, Stuart W. Rudnick of Musick, Peeler & Garrett, urgently contacted Fredric D. Woocher of Strumwasser & Woocher. “This firm is counsel to Occidental College. The College is in receipt of the enclosed subpoena that seeks certain information concerning President-Elect Barack Obama,” he wrote via fax.

“Inasmuch as the subpoena appears to be valid on its face, the College will have no alternative but to comply with the subpoena absent a court order instructing otherwise.”

Within hours, Woocher contacted Kreep regarding the issue, telling him, “It will likely not surprise you to hear that President-elect Obama opposes the production of the requested records.“In order to avoid the needless expense of our bringing and litigating a Motion to Quash the subpoena, I am writing to ask whether you would be willing to agree voluntarily to cancel or withdraw the subpoena…”

Woocher warned, “Please be advised, in particular, that in the event we are forced to file a motion to quash and we prevail in that motion, we will seek the full measure of monetary sanctions provided for in the Code of Civil Procedures.” “

”OBAMA has been inaugurated as the president of the United States. However, to properly assume such office, OBAMA must meet the qualifications specified in Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution for the Office of the President of the United States, which includes that he must be a ‘natural born’ citizen,” the amended complaint states.

“OBAMA has failed to demonstrate that he is a ‘natural born’ citizen. There have been a number of legal challenges before various state and federal courts regarding aspects of non-, lost, or dual citizenship concerning OBAMA. Those challenges, in and of themselves, demonstrate Petitioners’ argument that reasonable doubt exists as to his eligibility to serve as President of the United States.

“To avert a constitutional crisis which would certainly accrue after such an election through laborious legal challenges, this writ seeks to require SOS (Secretary of State) to verify the eligibility of a Presidential candidate prior to the candidate appearing on the California ballot. It is incumbent on the candidates to present the necessary documentation confirming his or her eligibility, but, to date, for this past election, OBAMA has failed to do so,” the complaint continues.

“An unprecedented and looming constitutional crisis awaits if a President elected by the popular vote and the electoral vote does not constitutionally qualify to serve in that capacity,” the case said. “In addition, if OBAMA is not a ‘natural born’ citizen and not eligible for presidency, OBAMA will be subject to the criminal provisions of the California Elections Code, stating, ‘Any person who files or submits for filing a nomination paper or declaration of candidacy knowing that it, or any part of it, has been made falsely, is punishable by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000) or by imprisonment in the state prison for 16 months or two or three years or by both the fine and imprisonment,’” the complaint states. “

Ensign receives handwritten confirmation

This doesn't happen often enough.

Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) received a handwritten note Thursday from Joint Committee on Taxation Chief of Staff Tom Barthold confirming the penalty for failing to pay the up to $1,900 fee for not buying health insurance.

Violators could be charged with a misdemeanor and could face up to a year in jail or a $25,000 penalty, Barthold wrote on JCT letterhead. He signed it "Sincerely, Thomas A. Barthold."

The note was a follow-up to Ensign's questioning at the markup.
