Frank - through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his "poetry" and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just "Frank."

You Voted them Back In, Don't Bitch
I have been unable to write now for a number of days due to the depression that has set in about the economy and what caused it. I listen to the Democrats blame everything on the Republicans and soon to be ex-president Bush.
Some Republicans and yes President Bush gets some blame for what has happened. Bush should have got on a soapbox and screamed about the sleazy ongoings at Fannie/Freddie but didn't. He kept quiet and said almost nothing about the problems that were building. Chuck Hagle knew what was coming and tried to get laws passed that would tighten the controls. John McCain signed on the the bill but very late in the process and didn't speak loud enough about the criminal activity. All the while Chuck Hagle was trying, senators and congressman where being lobbied by Fannie/Freddie to keep the status quo. Barney Frank, Hillary Clinton, Chris Dodd, John Kerry, Barack H. Obama, and others never lifted a finger to rein in what was going on. The politicians (Democrats/Republicans) knew what was going own and allowed it to happen. Many of them even had the courage to get up on the house floor and praise what a good job Fannie/Freddie were doing. They also claimed the questioning of Fannie/Freddie leaders were racially based and had nothing to do with anything else. OUR GOVERNMENT turned a blind eye to the corruption that was happening.
They (our leaders) caused our economy to tank like it has and now "We the Stupid People" expect these seem leaders to fix the problem. Just how damn dumb are we to think the clowns that turned a blind eye to it before can help now.
The first bailout $700,000,000.00 billion was supposed to buy bad loans and then they added additional items such as Wooden Arrows, money for ACORN, and other items that had nothing to do with the mortgage industry. Can we spell PORK? Until WE stop them from wasting our money with earmarks for their private payoffs, nothing will change.
Unfortunately our elected senators and congressman become corrupt upon arriving in Washington and forget they were elected to work for us and the job they were elected to was only a temp job.
They (elected officials) are burying our country in debt that we will never get out of in my lifetime. How many of you voted for Obama knowing he was going to bury us in more debt then we can afford. Where does this stop?
It is too late for my company bailout and it has ruined not only my credit, but the credit of all my former employees. This can be directly traced the mortgage crisis and then to the financial industry which caused this all to happen. I have seen people who worked all their lives lose everything because of the governments inaction to control the mortgage industry. It was the governments job to oversee that industry and they didn't so "We the People" pay.
The ones who worked for Fannie and Freddie don't pay, they got payments in the millions while this was ongoing. They should be in jail for what they caused, instead they advised Barack Obama.

Democrats Want Bad Loans Bought, are we NUTS
Lets try something the democrats have not thought about. Lets review the home loans that are or have gone bad before just buying them. Wouldn't it be nice to first see if 1) the people getting the loan were qualified and 2) see if there was lender misconduct. If it is learned their was lender misconduct, legal action should and must be taken to arrest and punish those who did. Any Banker, Mortgage Broker, Appraiser, or Realtor who assisted in qualifying people who shouldn't have been MUST be prosecuted fully. This also goes the other way too as borrowers who committed fraud while filing out their loan applications should also be prosecuted.
We must remember there were groups (Acorn) pushing lenders to make loans where they hadn't before and shouldn't have now. Then we have congress turning a blind eye while Fannie/Freddie over extended themselves which really meant the government (We the People) gave them a blanket ok to continue making unjustifiable loans. Remember them giving speech's supporting the leaders of these organizations all the time knowing they were making bad loans. Congress at that time figured the government (We the People) would just bail Fannie/Freddie out.
Well, they made a terrible mistake and have brought down a number of banks, business and maybe the country itself. What is worse, the same congress that allowed this to happen WERE VOTED BACK IN by a bunch of stupid Americans who are to lazy to look into who allowed this. Bush is just as guilty because he didn't use the bully pulpit to raise holy hell about what was going on. He stood quite and now they ALL wring there hands.

More on the Bailout
In watching the side show on TV today where the leaders of the small three were begging for money from "We the People" to bail our the unions and mismanagement. Listening to our political leaders was truly sad. I think the auto unions wrote some of the questions. Maybe puppets were standing in for the politicians but I didn't see any strings. No matter how much money we give them nothing will change. Until the unions are forced to rewrite their contracts and management is changed, they WILL be back asking for more money. Has everyone forgotten the auto makers have been in trouble for a number of years and GM has been the worst, always cutting this or that.
We need to let them go Chapter 11 and reorganize after the union contracts are broke. To think union members make over $70.00/hr in salary and benefits is truly sick. How many Americans would like to make half of that amount. I for one would love to make half that amount and I'll pay for my own health care.

Figure it up, if they work
40 hrs per week at $70/hr their gross (salary & benefits) amount will be:
$2800/wk,
$11,200/month,
$134,000/year salary & benefits.
Based on the above and remember this is low, does everyone now understand how salary and benefits have gotten out of hand. When I worked at Busch it was the same thing. Our salary, benefits and perks were out of site.
Research all auto makers and you will understand why American auto makers are having trouble. I vote no to a bail out and hope more Americans vote no and call their reps. to say so. Don't let the government waste more of our money as they are so very good at it.

Look to the right and you will see two pictures of the Largest Re-enlistment ever held but not covered nor mentioned by ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, or any other mainstream media. How can you trust them to be fair?
This was the largest re-enlistment ceremony ever held in military history. The ceremony was held on the 4th of July, 2008 at Al Faw Palace, Baghdad , Iraq . General David Petraeus officiated. This amazing story was ignored by the 'mainstream' media.
For those who have been in the Al Faw Palace, you'll have a better appreciation of the number of people crammed around the rotunda supporting the re-enlisting soldiers. American men and women volunteering to stay longer in Iraq, so that when we leave, the new democracy will have a chance of surviving, is the exact opposite of what the media wants you to think about Iraq. If only a bomb had killed 5 civilians in a marketplace - now that's the kind of news the media is eager to tell you about.
A pizzeria in Chicago donated 2000 pizzas that were made and shipped to Baghdad and were delivered on the 4th. The media did report that 2000 pizzas were sent to Iraq on July 4th... The only part they left out of the report was the event for which the pizzas were sent.

Bar Stool Economics Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:
The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.
So, that's what they decided to do.The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve.
'Since you are all such good customers,' he said, 'I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20.' Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But; what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair share?'They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. A woman from Los Angeles, who was a tree hugger and an anti-hunter, purchased a piece of timberland, near Grants Pass, OR. There was a large tree on one of the highest points in the tract. She wanted a good view of the natural splendor of her land so she started to climb the big tree. As she neared the top she encountered a spotted owl that attacked her. In her haste to escape, the woman slid down the tree to the ground and got many splinters in her crotch.
In considerable pain, she hurried to the nearest doctor. She told him she was an environmentalist and an anti-hunter and how she came to get all the splinters. The doctor listened to her story with great patience and then told her to go into the examining room and he would see if he could help her. She sat and waited three hours before the doctor reappeared. The angry woman demanded, 'What took you so long?'
He smiled and then told her, 'Well, I had to get permits from the Environmental Protection Agency, the Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management before I could remove old-growth timber from a recreational area. I'm sorry, but they turned me down.'
