STATE FARMS IS NOT A GOOD NEIGHBOR

“Like a good neighbor” is a hallmark of the State Farm advertising jingle. But the reality is far removed from the small-town community values embodied by such a slogan. The insurance goliath is in practice a corporation dedicated to advancing the social planks of globalism and progressivism that are destroying America as a nation.

Let’s start at the top and work our way down. Michael L. Tipsford is the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of State Farm. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at the globalist think tank the Brookings Institute . The board is co-chaired by private equity investor Glenn Hutchins, a close ally of the Clintons and a board member of the Obama Foundation , as we examined last week.

                           The Brookings Institute takes an ardent and consistent internationalist viewpoint, with its members opposingPresident Donald Trump’s wall to secure our porous southern border, decryingthe scrapping of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and lobbying for the U.S.-rejected Trans-Pacific Partnership.

With such leadership at the top, it should be no surprise that State Farm has shown itself to be an aggressive advocate of radical social change in the U.S. The company boasts on its official website that it is a “founding sponsor” of a leadership development program for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute , an organization that laughably bills itself as “non-partisan” while pursing a pro-massive immigration agenda.

State Farm is featured as a “Legacy Circle” “strategic partner” for CHCI on the organization’s website. State Farm Assistant VP of Human Relations Rich Garcia is a member of its Board of Directors.

Despite its claims of non-partisanship, Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute is listed as a “Member organization” of the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda right below a statement that that group issued slamming Trump’s immigration policies.

“Central to NHLA’s recommendations for immigration reform is that any legislation must be based on a framework that would allow the 11 million undocumented immigrants in our nation to earn legal status, then citizenship, that recognizes the unique situation of our DREAMers and agricultural workers, and that addresses the unfairness in our existing policies and practices,” the manifesto reads.

CHCI can be found parroting all the usual pro-immigration talking points, such as opposing “separating families” of the alien hordes trying to push their way into our country.

Under a section on its website listed, “Our Highest Honors,” CHCI reveals that it gave former Rep. Luis Gutierrez its “CHCI Legacy Award” in 2018. Gutierrez was one of the most extreme open-borders advocates in congressional history before suddenly announcing his retirement in 2017.

In addition to its involvement with CHCI, State Farm is on the Corporate Board of Advisors for Unidos , the pro-illegal alien powerhouse organization formerly known as the National Council of La Raza , and is a financial supporter of Casa de Maryland , an especially vehement advocate for illegal aliens that was reportedly founded by ex-Marxist guerrillas from El Salvador.

State Farm also proudly backs a group called OCA – Asian Pacific American Advocates. Formerly known as the Organization of Chinese Americans, OCA is a fervent proponent of massive immigration into the U.S. “Any form of comprehensive immigration reform must also include provisions to provide a pathway to citizenship for the over 11 million undocumented immigrants in the United States, along with a repeal of the sections of the 1996 immigration laws that limit judicial discretion in detention and deportation cases,” reads a policy statement on immigration at the group’s website.

On its own website, State Farm brags that “OCA… honored State Farm as the Outstanding Corporate Partner making us the only two-time recipient in the award’s history (2008, 2002).” The State Farm site also features a glowing article gushing over an activist who went “from refugee to Asian Pacific American Advocate” thanks to OCA. “Immigration, education, and mental health are all things that the Asian American community needs to be actively engaged in,” Hari Adhikari is quoted as saying about his work. “OCA has helped put me in a position where I must speak up,” he continued. “Going through all these State Farm programs was an eye-opener, and I did not know a lot of the things I know today.”

Yes, State Farm is apparently training pro-immigration activists in the U.S. today.

In 2010, the corporation bestowed upon OCA a six-figure grant for a program that “has been sponsored by State Farm since 1994.” Indeed, State Farm’s roots in the social transformation of America run deep. Its staffers are also actively participating in the fight.

State Farm Public Affairs Specialist Samona Caldwell is listed as a member of the Executive Advisory Council for a group called Asian Americans Advancing Justice . According to its 2017 annual report, AAAJ received $1,000,000+ from the “New Americans Campaign,” an umbrella group of financially powerful progressive foundations that prominently includes George Soros’s’ Open Society Foundations .

AAAJ authored a 2015 article on Medium.com titled “Community Partners Inform Priorities for Immigrant Integration.” The article reports on a special meeting of “community partners” with AAAJ to promote “immigrant integration.” At the end of the article, the group issues a “special thank you to State Farm and Southwest Airlines for sponsoring this event.”

The article touts a further meeting at the National Immigrant Integration Conference. Radical speakers at that conference included Luis Gutierrez, heavily-Soros-backed international pro-refugee NGO head David Milbrand and Rep. Ilhan Omar, Minnesota Democrat. “Through her work as a policy analyst and community advocate, Ilhan has advanced important issues, including support for working families, educational access, environmental protection, and racial equity,” Omar’s official conference bio reads.

Turning away from the immigration issue, a State Farm executive is a key player in a highly influential pro-homosexual organization that is a leading force behind many of the rabidly insane legislative proposals being reported out of California in recent years.

The “School Success and Opportunity Act” was passed in 2013. “The bill required public schools in the state to allow transgender students to use bathrooms, and participate on sports teams, that match the gender they identify with,” Ballotpedia states.

The following year, an effort was made to do away with the mandates on school sports and bathroom use. Among those strongly opposing the effort to change the pro-transgender kids law was an organization called Equality California. “Protecting this law is our number one priority, and we will put everything we’ve got into it,” the group’s executive director John O’Connor said at the time.

As this battle was raging, State Farm was listed as a “Statewide Sponsor” of Equality California in its 2014 annual report (see last page, back of report). But the intimate ties run even deeper.

Cathy Schwamberger, State Farm Associate General Counsel, is Co-Chair of Equality California’s Board of Advisors. In 2018, she was honored for her “leadership in the fight to advance LGBTQ civil rights and social justice at the organization’s annual Sacramento Equality Awards.”

An example of Equality California’s idea of “social justice,” backed by State Farm, can be found in the state’s alarming new guidelines on sex education in public schools. According to a Fox News report:

“Ultimately, California’s finalized framework [on sex-ed in schools] tells teachers that students in kindergarten can identify as transgender and offers tips for how to talk about that, adding ‘the goal is not to cause confusion about the gender of the child but to develop an awareness that other expressions exist.’

“The document also gives tips for discussing masturbation with middle-schoolers, including telling them it is not physically harmful, and for discussing puberty with transgender teens that creates ‘an environment that is inclusive and challenges binary concepts about gender.'”

Dismissing parental objections, Equality California is an enthusiastic champion of the new guidelines. “We don’t believe any of this will prime students to do anything they wouldn’t normally do,” Equality California communications manager Josh Stickney told the Sacramento Bee. “It’s important to dispel myths and stigma around sex health for the LGBT community. That starts with awareness and sex education.”

From advocating for the massive unchecked wave of Third World immigration that is changing the very fabric of our culture to actively participating in the sexual and gender warping of children, State Farm has its fingers thoroughly plunged into a number of poisonous pies. With “good neighbors” like this, is it any wonder we need a Wall?

A new picture has emerged that purports to show Representative Ilhan Omar with both of her husbands at the same time, after President Trump and others have suggested that her second husband is actually her brother.

This would make one strongly suspect that Omar’s repeated denials may indeed be false, and her second husband may indeed be her brother.

Her story is very odd, primarily because Omar has failed to explain completely the apparent overlap between her first and current husband, Ahmed Abdisalan Hirsi and her second and ex-husband Ahmed Nur Said Elmi.

Either way Ms. Omar has some explaining to do.

When she married her second husband, a British national who had just arrived in the U.S., legal documents appear to show she was still living with her first husband.

And the trio all reportedly went off to live together in Fargo while Omar and her second husband were studying at the University of North Dakota.

It also appears that Omar’s father Nur Said Elmi Mohamed has the same name as her second husband’s father. He attended Arlington Senior High School in Minnesota and multiple former classmates say that is also the name of his father.

This does seem rather odd, but my guess is you’ll see very little coverage of this from the mainstream media.

I am sick to death hearing from parents or anyone blaming the drug makers as it is the script doctors who get these drugs out in the public. Unless the Mfg. has sales out the back door they are not responsible for the flood of drugs. 

Back in the 70's when I lived in KC and St Louis I knew of many SCRIPT DOCTORS who did nothing but write scripts for SPEED and it was an open door for all to come in. This didn't stop until some were arrested and sent to prison.

If you want to stop this flood of Opioid Drugs, arrest the doctors and it will send a very big message. Yes the makers are making a bundle of money and marketing it a manner that does always tell the truth but this is true in all business. We all know about other companies claiming this or that but then find it was a lie.

If you make a million pills and can't get the doctors to over prescribe, you don't make any money. If the doctors over prescribe, lock them up.

Duke and Others Take Money to Teach HATE - WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS COUNTRY

By accepting more than $111,000 from Qatar Foundation International to provide U.S. teachers anti-Israel training, Duke University is abusing its status as one of only 14 Middle East National Resource Centers funded by the U.S. Department of Education to provide guidance on curriculum materials and teacher training for K-12 Middle East studies.

From June 23 to June 28 on the Duke campus this year, “Dimensions of the Middle East” was an immersion program for grades 6-12 U.S. educators. Presented by the Duke Islamic Studies Center, Duke University Middle East Studies Center, and Qatar Foundation International, the institute trains 40 teachers who are hand-selected by QFI, according to a Duke University spokesman.

Qatar Foundation International (QFI), based in Washington, DC, is a subsidiary of the Qatar Foundation (QF), with direct ties to the Sharia-law government of Qatar. While QFI cuts a moderate, even scholarly image in public, its parent QF has been tied to supporting terrorist organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood. QFI partners with other elite universities for student outreach, but will resort to lawsuits to keep the financial details of these programs secret once the public begins to ask questions.

Documents received by the Haym Salomon Center shed light on the workings of Duke University’s unique influence operation targeting the U.S school system.

School districts from North Carolina to Chicago and Virginia have promoted the training to their teachers. Candidates vying for this all-expenses-paid immersion must first commit to QFI that they will create a Middle East curriculum based on the content provided. Educators will learn from “specialists” how to hone their messaging about the history of the Middle East. An internal copy of the training agenda suggests an extreme bias in favor of Islam and Sharia law, and against Israel.

Day one of the conference guides teachers through a series of lectures to help them “reconsider” the Middle East. A panel exploring “daily life” in the region features a Palestinian, a pro-Sharia Iranian, and an Islamic scholar, who leads Qatar’s Arab Museum of Art.

Notably absent from the discourse is balance. To give teachers a true composite of the living conditions in the Middle East, Duke would do well to include an Israeli whose life consists of battling torrents of fires caused by “terror kites” launched by Hamas or a Syrian Christian, for perspective of what “daily life” is like under most Islamic rule.

The remainder of the immersion dives favorably into Islam, and Islam exclusively, with lessons taught by its most ardent academic promoters. Sessions include: Foundations of Islam: Qur’an, Prophets, Muhammad’s Life; Islamic Art and Architecture; and a panel discussion on Current Challenges to Understanding Islam and Islamophobia. Missing are lectures or panel discussions dedicated to appreciating the Jewish or Christian faiths, although these two religions have been well represented in the Middle East for two millennia in countries like Israel, Iraq, and Lebanon.

The bias does not stop with the agenda. Some of Duke’s chosen “specialists” headlining the immersion are the same organizers involved in this spring’s controversial conference titled “Conflict Over Gaza: People, Politics and Possibilities,” which is now being probed by the U.S. Department of Education for anti-Israel bias and for featuring “anti-Semitic songs.” The conference was officially sponsored by the UNC Center for Middle East and Islamic Studies and the Duke-UNC Consortium for Middle East Studies.

Shai Tamari is the associate director of the UNC Center for Middle East and Islamic Studies and the Duke-UNC Consortium for Middle East Studies, the department that officially sponsored the “Gaza” conference. Tamari will teach the only Israel-focused lecture during this week’s conference.

Leading up to April’s Gaza conference, Tamari promised the event would “shed much needed light on current realities in the Gaza Strip, giving participants a deeper understanding of the context of these realities and offering concrete options that can better the lives of Gazans.” In reality however, attendees reported that Tamari led an aggressive effort to block audience members from taking pictures during presentations, which leads to questions on how interested he is in “shedding light” on the content and context of the event itself.

Duke-UNC Consortium board member Miriam Cooke will be another expert helping teachers sharpen their understanding of Middle East history at the immersion. Cooke is unambiguous in her sympathy for radical Islamists and her disdain for Israel. She points to the establishment of Israel as a root cause of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks: “9-11 has a long history going back through the Gulf War to the establishment of Israel in 1948.”

Cooke leads the conference’s section on female activism in the Middle East. But Cooke’s view of women’s rights under Islam are as subversive as her views on Israel. In an interview on Feminism in Islam by Kay Hymowitz of the Manhattan Institute, Cooke defends the rampant abuse and mutilation of women living in the Middle East: “When men are traumatized [by colonial rule], they tend to traumatize their own women.”

And because the term “colonial rule” is carelessly thrown in academic circles, it would seem hard to fault any man for abusing women under this axiom. Cooke, a self-proclaimed feminist, also wildly asserts that “Polygamy can be liberating and empowering” for women under Sharia law. So much for women’s rights of equality and economic well-being in marriage.

Cooke’s radicalism is rivaled by that of other immersion specialists presented by Duke to participants, who again, are responsible for guiding primary school teachers through the process of creating social studies teaching materials and curriculum.

Anchoring the conference is professor Omid Safi. Back in 2014, Duke University’s decision to hire Safi to lead its Islamic studies program met outrage after the public learned of his reputation for falsifying his writings to demonize Jews. Labeled “Holocaust inversion” by the Brandeis Center, Safi’s article was published by Religion News Service (RNS) but subsequently removed because of “inaccuracies.”

Safi is also an avid proponent of the anti-Israel boycott, divestment, sanctions movement. Twenty-seven of the United States have enacted laws against BDS amid complaints of associated anti-Semitism and mounting concerns about the movement’s ties to terrorism. The concerns are echoed in the international community, where the movement has been deemed anti-Semitic by the German parliament because it is reminiscent of Nazi-era programming to boycott Jews.

Other conference lecturers such as UNC professor Sarah Shields, University of California at Los Angeles professor James Gelvin, and Arabic rapper Omar Offendum, also evangelize the radical BDS movement. Perhaps the conference’s most high-profile speaker is Maggie Mitchell Salem, QFI’s executive director who is now implicated creating anti-Israel propaganda for Jamal Khashoggi, the murdered journalist.

The week-long immersion included a visit to the Islamic Center of Raleigh and lectures from several Triangle-area imams, including Sheikh Mehdi Hazari. Representatives from Duke and UNC declined to answer questions about efforts, if any, to include rabbis or pro-Israel specialists in its programming.

Why in the world does America and the EU keep Turkey in NATO? Turkey has become a dictatorship and America should cease all business with this clown of a leader until democracy is restored. At one time the military kept Turkey from allowing this to happen but now someone has taken their "Balls" and put them in a jar.

No way should Turkey ever get their hands on a F-35 and we should cease all military sales to them. Let them purchase from Russia and we should arm the Kurds so then can defend their people against this nut job should he want to invade their area. 

If the people of Turkey want to have Putin as their best buddy, let them and move on to isolate Turkey as Iran has been until they wish to join the world and get rid of what I call "Putin 2". Reinforce the Baltic states, and increase our sale of defense arms to any and all countries that ask. I would rather sell arms to them instead of sending American to protect the countries. Place so many misses nearby so any missile defense system would become overwhelmed and useless. Once out of missiles, remove them from the battlefield. 

NATO may become more important now that Turkey has gone to the dark side and they should be expelled so Russia has zero access to any info NATO would share with members. By keeping Turkey in is like copying Putin on everything NATO is doing.

President Trump should CEASE all sports invites no matter what team and what players. After all the nonsense he has gotten from the various sports figures I wouldn't invite another one. All players have the right to NOT attend and say what they wish. 

It is sad so many don't realize he may not be your cup of tea but he HAS shaken up a crooked government located in Washington DC. 

I for one has still never given Baseball another look after they went on strike and caused the World Series to be canceled. Seems these boys of baseball are PLAYING A DAMN GAME and make millions to do so. They need to get real jobs if that is so bad. 

As far as the difference in pay for male and female soccer players, the women should get the same pay and if that means the men get cut, so be it. Must be equal for both and until it is, the women should boycott and I would support that.

All baseball, football, tennis and soccer players can speak but it may not be the best for their sport. Have a great niece who was an outstanding college soccer player and this political nonsense has turned me off to ever watching soccer just as I did baseball when the spoiled boys went on strike. Was time to move on from them as I have for soccer. Folks watch and support various sports and don't want a bunch of political crap.

OUR PRESENT SITUATION !

Children of Congress members do not have to pay back their college student loans.

Staffers of Congress family members are also exempt from having to pay back student loans.

Members of Congress can retire at full pay after only one term.

Members of Congress have exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed, under which ordinary citizens must live.
For example, they are exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment.

And as the latest example, they have exempted themselves from Healthcare Reform, in all of its aspects.

We must not tolerate an elite class of such people, elected as public servants and then putting themselves above the law.

I truly don't care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent, or whatever. The self-serving must stop.

Governors of 35 states have filed suit against the Federal Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon their states.It only takes 38 (of the 50) States to convene a Constitutional Convention.

If each person that receives this will forward it on to 20 people, in three days most people in The United States of America will have the message.

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:

"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the Citizens of the United States ..."

This is an idea that should be passed around, regardless of political party. 

Congressional Reform Act of 2017 

1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office. And, no more perks go with them. 

2. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose. 

3. Congress must purchase their own retirement plan, just as ALL Americans do. 

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. 

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people. 

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people (i.e. NO MORE INSIDER TRADING!!!).

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts by and for themselves. 

Serving in Congress is an honor and privledge NOT a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work … not get all kinds of freebies.
