Why not send some Warthogs to Ukraine to help remove mined areas so they can turn loose the nose guns the hogs have to set off the buried mines. If not the Warthog what about the gunships (Gatling gun) that can cover a football size area to set of the mines. Yes I know the planes are slower and may be downed but it may be successful and worth the risk.
As the mental midget is slow walking the weapons needed, try something different.
