I believe closing Gitmo is good as our NEW political leaders are a gutless group of ass kissers of the first kind. I would also suggest that we no longer take battlefield prisoners but should be sure they all die in the field of fire. This way our chicken sh-- leaders don't have to make a hard decision as what to do. Yes, I know they will say that would happen to our soldiers. It already has and nothing is done but hold our hands saying. We should have bombed them to the stone age.
The prisoners were are holding now should be let loose so they can come back and kill some more Americans as this has already happened to others we have released. Yes, I know it is the Obama's desire to make the world love America and maybe I should care, but I don't. I am tired of bending over while other countries stick it in our ass.
The majority of the world hates us and what America stands for, freedom for its people. A few country's believe in freedom for its citizens but the vast majority at the United Nations don't and never will. Our country has bleed more and sacrificed more to free other countries then anyone else. Our reward for doing so is to be hated by the very people we helped. If we don't watch our own leaders, we will also become a country with fewer freedoms as it has started now. Was it Jefferson that said Revolution is needed at times?
We need to ask the UN to leave our shores as it has become a joke and the delegates are above our laws while in this country. All this group wants from us is our money and anything else they can get for nothing.
Got side tracked for a minute. The people held at Gitmo should be returned to their country of origin and should their country fail to allow their return, they should be sent back to the battlefield where captured and put into prison there. What happens after that is not our concern as they will not be in our care and Obama plus the rest of the libs will be happy.
