A Gwinnett County woman says she was fired for calling the police on three robbers who stole thousands of dollars worth of clothes from the Lululemon store she worked at.

Rachel Rogers captured the frightening moments on cellphone video last month When three brazen robbers walked into her store and began stealing thousands of dollars worth of clothing from the store at the Forum Shops in Peachtree Corners.

The 23-year-old told Channel 2′s Michael Seiden that the three men grabbed as much as they could before they bolted from the store where their getaway driver was waiting.

“They’re just full-blown, like, running circles around you grabbing as much as they can,” Rogers said. “And it’s a scary feeling, and you don’t know how to react. So, our reaction is to scream, ‘No! Get out! Leave!’”

Rogers said she and her former coworker Jennifer Ferguson were shaken but uninjured, and immediately reported the robbery to police.

But two weeks later, they were let go and fired after they learned that they had both violated company policy by calling 911.

So how were they supposed to handle this situation?

“Clear a pathway. At least this is what is posted, is a clear pathway, and don’t interact, let them take what they want. Let them take what they have and do not make contact with them at all,” is what Rogers said was what she was told.

She told Seiden that she was frustrated because she’s been dealing with this same problem for the last eight months.

“I’ve experienced it probably five or six times, and I know it’s happened on other occasions when other people are working,” Rogers said.

Investigators say the same group of robbers struck again the following day in Peachtree City where police arrested and charged them with multiple felonies.

“I think it is a lot bigger scheme because the product that is stolen is brought back in by other people to try to return and get money back,” Rogers said.

Channel 2 Action News has reached out to Lululemon multiple times for comment on this story, but so far, they haven’t returned our messages.

The Staff: When stores allow themselves to be robbed, crime will spread as it has. The time is now for someone to stop this nonsense and maybe that will spread and people with take the law back in their hands.

Mykhailo Podoliak, the advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has responded to the call by Li Hui, the Chinese government's special representative, for a ceasefire in Ukraine through "recognising the occupied Ukrainian territories as Russia's".

 

"Any ‘compromise scenario’ envisaging the liberation of NOT all territories of Ukraine, which ‘anonymous sources’ in the European and American elites periodically talk about, is tantamount to admitting the defeat of democracy, the victory of Russia, the preservation of Putin’s regime and as a consequence the sharp increase in conflicts in global politics."

Podoliak said that all this is Russia's cherished dream. "The question is rhetorical: Why do individual public actors keep playing the ‘Russian media scenario’ and protracting the conflict?" Podoliak stressed.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal, referring to Western officials familiar with the progress of Li Hui's negotiations in European capitals, reported that he apparently tried to convince his European counterparts that they should call for a ceasefire in Ukraine, recognising the occupied Ukrainian territories as belonging to Russia.

Get Out of Ukraine

 Any talk of Putin wanting to make peace with Ukraine is crap. He knows his time is coming and if no peace more Russians die for this bogus war. He will either go or his army will be defeated and than the Russian people will remove him.

Ukraine needs to make peace once ALL Ukraine is free of the Russian Army. The generals who know more than the old KGB agent should just tell their men to go home as no wants to kill them. There are some who will pay for their rapes, murder of citizens, killing of children and trials to punish those who committed crimes will happen.

The Drug Pusher Should Shut the "F" up

Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on Thursday called on Hispanics in Florida to vote against Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who launched his 2024 White House bid the day before, because of his immigration policies.

“Hopefully Hispanics in Florida will wake up and not give him one single vote, to not vote for those who persecute migrants, those who don’t respect migrants,” López Obrador said.

Speaking at his daily hours-long press conference, López Obrador addressed DeSantis’s political future, saying the governor had “uncovered” himself, using Mexican political slang for a candidate’s announcement, and taking credit for predicting DeSantis’s presidential run.

“As you can see I wasn’t wrong that all his politicking over migrants was because he wanted to be the Republican Party’s candidate,” said López Obrador.

At his Wednesday press conference, López Obrador had bemoaned the politics behind border security and immigration in the United States.

“We have to be thinking about this regrettable phenomenon of necessary migration, used with political ends in the United States,” he said, responding to a question from The Hill.

Crooked FBI, Time to Disband

Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, said the FBI still hasn't responded to a subpoena to hand over an unclassified document that details allegations of a bribery scheme involving President Joe Biden when he was vice president.

Comer issued the subpoena for the FD-1023 document on May 3, giving the FBI a deadline of noon on May 10 to turn it over. Two weeks later, the document, which an FBI whistleblower alleges contains details of an arrangement between Biden and a foreign adversary involving an exchange of money for policy decisions, still is not in Comer's hands.

"They don't respect anyone in Congress," Comer told Fox News on Monday. "They've been able to get away with this for a long time. The media continues to turn a blind eye. The Senate Republicans continue to fund the FBI.

The Staff: For years now the leaders of the FBI have been dirty and they have the balls to target everyday Americans. They should try looking in the mirror for the crooks. Now they are trying to protect the Biden Crime Family and unless Congress puts the screws to them it will continue. Wray is just a Smug person who believes he is above Congress and doesn't have to answer questions. 

Congress needs to play hardball and cut their funding till it hurts. They will claim it will harm investigations they are doing (that is is joke). Defund any new construction projects they have coming and do NOT fund any that may be in the planning stage. 

Maybe if you stop the money flow it will get their attention and have them learn they DO have people they MUST answer to. Maybe it is time to form a NEW agency without any of the people that are now heading the FBI and start from scratch so we keep the political people out.

House Republicans are teeing up a vote this week to overturn President Joe Biden's student-loan forgiveness, and as expected, the White House is ready to reject that legislation.

Earlier this month, the House education committee voted to approve a resolution that would block Biden's plan to cancel up to $20,000 in student debt for federal borrowers, along with immediately ending the ongoing student-loan payment pause.

The Staff: Glad to see and hope it passes. Millions of us had to pay for our collage eduction and why now the Government wants to pay for part of it. Have you heard about BUYING VOTES? Ben Crump the black ambulance chaser needs to be sued for slander. He went after a nurse and accused her of being a racist because this dumb ass lawyer ran his mouth before getting the facts. It was the BLACK men who were lying and causing a problem for a pregnant nurse who was trying to go home.  

She rented a city bike (had proof) and now the hospital the worked at has suspended her. I hope she sues them also as this crap about always believing BLACK people so they are not called racist. Whatever happened to the truth in this messed up country.
