The US congress should be so proud of their inability to do anything except bitch about sending funds to Ukraine which is not really going to them but American companies to replenish the supplies we have sent there according to some in congress. Congress is going to bitch about the cost and yet when we have to send our soldiers to Poland or another NATO country that the butcher of Russian people (Putin) has invaded.
Our congress is just like Chamberlain was with Hitler and wanted to not make him made so he gave up to Hitler what he wanted in exchange for peace. How did that work out? Our congress is doing the same thing with their lack of action to help Ukraine stop Putin now. If Biden wasn't a coward (or whoever runs the government) and provided what they asked for when it started, the fighting may have been over by now.
If congress had not started the "Earmarks" again those funds could have been used. Think of the waste both parties have done and "We the Dumb Ass" Americans put up with. My god people, when will the voters figure out the government does not care about "We the People" but how much money they can take from us to spend on movies theaters in some governments district and whatever. If we could really see where the dollars are spent, maybe we would be so pissed millions would cease putting up with it. Until we the folks wake the "f" up, nothing will ever change.
Ukraine has a lot of corruption but so does Washington DC and our own government. Does anyone remember the "Post Office" scandal or the "Slush Funds" congress set up to pay off pledges for sexual harassment by members of the house? Made news for one or two days and then went quiet. The government treats our money as theirs piggy bank and think it is bottomless, appears they are right.
Pass the damn bill for Ukraine, Taiwan, and Israel and stop this delay as it helps Americas enemies.
