The politicians lost both wars, not the men and women who were on the ground. Fighting a war with your hands tied will never work but the elected idiots in DC will never understand. I remember a General once saying "You have to hit the enemy so hard they beg for it to stop". This has recently been a problem for the services as DC will NOT let them hit hard enough to reach that goal.
Yes I can hear some saying innocent will die and they are right. With a police action and not a war to win, more will die as they have. All wars are ugly and people will die. There is nothing that can be done except never have a war and that is not possible.
The politicians need to get out of the business of playing solder and let the generals make the decisions. If not, get rid of the army, navy, air force and marines and just kiss your ass goodby.
Try to image Biden or Harris making a decision to protect us from Russia, China, or Iran. Hell, they can't stop illegals from coming in at will.
