Macron suggested Europe form their own army and that would be great. As he mentioned it was need to protect Europe from Russia, China and the USA was a slap but we can take it. We wear our big boy pants.
Think of the money we can save but not having to protect Europe from the big three as he said and looking back at the history of Europe, they had their collective butts kicked by Germany twice. If it wasn't for the US, they would be speaking German. After the set up their own Army, they can start learning to speak Russian as it will be needed sooner than they think.
The money we can save by not having our troops stationed there can be spent as it should, on our own people who have done without while funds go to this country that has forgotten being bailed out in the last war.
This is what happens when people forget their own history including the USA. We as a country can do so much better than we have and it is sad to see not only this country but also the world has not learned from history. They say "history will repeat" and it does.
Now we have as I call them "the kiddie corp" taking the leadership roles in many governments and we are lining up to see terrible wars again. Macron is a lightweight, Putin is a Thug who wants to become the old USSR that failed its own people and the Chinese who wants to control the South China Sea claiming it as theirs. What crap on all of them.
