Eye-Opener: Charity Hospital run by the Sisters of Charity in New Orleans, along with the Upjohn company  developed the plasma system in the 1930's that saved so many lives in WWII, Korea,   Vietnam and in the Middle East now. During the Civil War most of the nurses were nuns. Even if you are not Catholic, this is eye opening: When the Catholic Church was founded, there were no hospitals. Today, one out of five people in this country receive their medical care at a Catholic hospital. When the Catholic Church was founded, there were no schools. Today, the Catholic Church teaches  3  million students a day, in its more than 250 Catholic Colleges and Universities, in its more than 1200 Catholic High Schools and its more than 5000 Catholic grade schools. Every day, the Catholic Church feeds, clothes, shelters and educates more people than any  other organization in the world. The new Obama Health Mandate could end all this and the tax payers would have to make up the loss. Also, all Catholic adoption services will come to an end... a human disaster. There are more than 77 million Catholics in this country.  It takes an estimated 50 million  Catholic votes to elect a president. I am asking all of you to go to the polls in 2016 and be united in replacing all  Senators and Reps with someone who will respect the Catholic Church, all Christians,  and all Religions with perhaps the exception of Islam. Mr. President, you said, "The USA is not a Christian Nation". You are wrong - we are a Christian Nation  Founded on Judeo-Christian values allowing all religions in America to worship and practice freely...  something that Islam will never do. Oh, by the way, on MUSLIM HERITAGE IN America .... Have you ever been to a Muslim hospital,  heard a Muslim orchestra, seen a Muslim band march in a parade, know of a Muslim charity,  ever seen Muslims shaking hands with a Muslim Girl Scout,  or ever seen a Muslim Candy Striper volunteering in a hospital? Have ave                      Have  you ever seen a Muslim do much of anything that contributes positively to the American way of life? PLEASE DON'T KEEP THIS PLEASE SEND IT OUT TO YOUR  ENTIRE EMAIL LIST. Let's circulate this to as many as possible. USGA CLOWNS

This site is usually for republican or democrats but can't let this go. The USGA is a group of little hitlers and should no longer have control of the Open. They screw up the course, make a disaster out of rules and waster areas are called bunkers. How many or you when playing golf or watching walk around in a "Bunker"? Remember Dustin getting hosed for grounding his club in a "Waste Bunker"? Hell, I would have done the same as every tom dick and harry were walking in it.

Now the gods of the USGA decided the ball moved due to Dustin, CRAP. The ball moved backward while his putter was in the air behind it. Watching them try to explain it on TV was a joke as they are. I will never join, donate or provide any assistance to these clowns of golf. They have cheapened the Open and taken golf into a circus world of courses.

What is the difference between the USGA courses and Putt-Putt? Only the windmill is missing.

COSTELLO:  That many people are out of work?

ABBOTT:  No, Obama said you can't count the "Out of Work" as the unemployed.  You have to look for work to be unemployed.

ABBOTT:  Someone who doesn't look for work can't be counted with those who look for work.  It wouldn't be fair.

ABBOTT: No, the unemployed are actively looking for work. 
Those who are out of work gave up looking and if you give up, you are no longer in the ranks of the unemployed. 
 
COSTELLO: So if you're off the unemployment roles that would count as less unemployment?

ABBOTT: Unemployment would go down. Absolutely!

COSTELLO: The unemployment just goes down because you don't look for work?

ABBOTT: Absolutely it goes  down. That's how it gets to 5.6%. Otherwise it would be 23%. 

COSTELLO: Wait, I got a question for you. That means there are two ways to bring down the unemployment number?  

ABBOTT: Two ways is correct.

COSTELLO: Unemployment can go down if someone gets a job?

ABBOTT: Correct.

COSTELLO: And unemployment can also go down if you stop looking for a job?

ABBOTT: Bingo. 

COSTELLO: So there are two ways to bring unemployment down, and the easier of the two is to have people stop looking for work.

The mayor of the Montreal suburb of Dorval has refused, and the town clerk sent a note to all parents to explain why. "Muslims must understand that they have to adapt to Canada and Quebec, its customs, its traditions, and its way of life, because that's where they  chose to immigrate. "Muslims must understand that they have to integrate and learn to live in Quebec. "They must understand that it is for them to change their lifestyle, not the Canadians who, so generously, welcomed them. "Muslims must understand that Canadians are neither racist nor xenophobic. Canada accepted many immigrants before Muslims showed up (whereas the reverse is not true, in thatMuslim states do not accept non-Muslim immigrants)." "Just like other nations, Canadians are not willing to give up their identity or their culture. "And, if Canada is a land of welcome, it's not the Mayor of Dorval who welcomes  foreigners, but the Canadian-Quebecois people as a whole. "Finally, they must understand that in Canada ( Quebec ) with its Judeo-Christian roots, Christmas trees, churches and religious festivals, religion must remain in the private domain." The municipality of Dorval was right to refuse any concessions to Islam and Sharia. "For Muslims who disagree with secularism and do not feel comfortable in Canada, there are 57 beautiful Muslim countries in the world, most of them  under-populated and ready to receive them with open halal arms in accordance with Sharia. "If you left your country for Canada , and not for other Muslim countries, it is because you have considered that life is better in Canada than  elsewhere. We will not let you drag Canada down to the level of those 57 countries. "Ask yourself this question - just once: "Why is it better here in Canada than where you come from?"   "A  canteen with pork on the menu is part of the answer." If you came to Canada with the idea that you will displace us with your prolific propagation and eventually take over the country, you should pack  up and go back to the country you came from.  We have no room here for you and your ideology. If you feel the same, forward it on.  If not, hit the delete, and prepare to be displaced.

A young women was raped some time back by a dirtbag student at Stanford and the collage did not release his arrest photo from what I have heard or read.

Two young men pulled this piece of crap off her as she was not totally awake due to drinking and not consented to have sex with this trash, Because his daddy and judge went to this lower institution of learning, he got a free pass for rape. Remove this judge as America has no room for low life like him. His family and friends should be ashamed of his actions. I can only hope his friend turn their backs on him and speak out.

First Women Who Ran for President, NOT THE LIAR HILLARY

Victoria Claflin Woodhull, later Victoria Woodhull Martin (September 23, 1838 – June 9, 1927) was an American leader of the woman's suffrage movement.

In 1872, Woodhull was the first female to run for President of the United States. An activist for women's rights and labor reforms, Woodhull was also an advocate of free love, by which she meant the freedom to marry, divorce, and bear children without government interference.^[1]

Woodhull went from rags to riches twice, her first fortune being made on the road as a highly successful magnetic healer^[2] before she joined the spiritualistmovement in the 1870s.^[3] While authorship of many of her articles is disputed (many of her speeches on these topics were collaborations between Woodhull, her backers, and her second husband, Colonel James Blood^[4]), her role as a representative of these movements was powerful. Together with her sister, she was the first woman to operate a brokerage firm on Wall Street, and they were among the first women to found a newspaper, Woodhull & Claflin's Weekly, which began publication in 1870.^[5]

At her peak of political activity in the early 1870s, Woodhull is best known as the first woman candidate for the United States presidency, which she ran for in 1872 from the Equal Rights Party, supporting women's suffrage and equal rights. Her arrest on obscenity charges a few days before the election for publishing an account of the alleged adulterous affair between the prominent minister Henry Ward Beecher and Elizabeth Tilton added to the sensational coverage of her candidacy. She did not receive any electoral votes, and there is conflicting evidence about popular votes.

Presidential candidate[edit]

Woodhull announces her candidacy for President by writing a letter to the editor of the New York Herald on April 2, 1870.^[30]

Woodhull was nominated for President of the United States by the newly formed Equal Rights Party on May 10, 1872, at Apollo Hall, New York City. A year earlier, she had announced her intention to run. Also in 1871, she spoke publicly against the government being composed only of men; she proposed developing a new constitution and a new government a year thence.^[31] Her nomination was ratified at the convention on June 6, 1872. They nominated the former slave and abolitionist leader Frederick Douglass for Vice President. He did not attend the convention and never acknowledged the nomination. He served as a presidential elector in the United States Electoral College for the State of New York. This made her the first woman candidate.

While many historians and authors agree that Woodhull was the first woman to run for President of the United States, some have questioned that priority given issues with the legality of her run. They disagree with classifying it as a true candidacy because she was younger than the constitutionally mandated age of 35. However, election coverage by contemporary newspapers does not suggest age was a significant issue. The presidential inauguration was in March 1873. Woodhull's 35th birthday was in September 1873.

Woodhull's campaign was also notable for the nomination of Frederick Douglass, although he did not take part in it. His nomination stirred up controversy about the mixing of whites and blacks in public life and fears of miscegenation (especially as he had married a much younger white woman after his first wife died). The Equal Rights Party hoped to use the nominations to reunite suffragists with African-American civil rights activists, as the exclusion of female suffrage from the Fifteenth Amendment two years earlier had caused a substantial rift between the groups.

Having been vilified in the media for her support of free love, Woodhull devoted an issue of Woodhull & Claflin's Weekly (November 2, 1872) to an alleged adulterous affair between Elizabeth Tilton and Reverend Henry Ward Beecher, a prominent Protestant minister in New York (he supported female suffrage but had lectured against free love in his sermons). Woodhull published the article to highlight what she saw as a sexual double-standard between men and women.

That same day, a few days before the presidential election, U.S. Federal Marshals arrested Woodhull, her second husband Colonel James Blood, and her sister Tennie C. Claflin on charges of "publishing an obscene newspaper" because of the content of this issue.^[32] The sisters were held in the Ludlow Street Jail for the next month, a place normally reserved for civil offenses, but which contained more hardened criminals as well. The arrest was arranged by Anthony Comstock, the self-appointed moral defender of the nation at the time. Opponents raised questions about censorship and government persecution. The three were acquitted on a technicality six months later, but the arrest prevented Woodhull from attempting to vote during the 1872 presidential election. With the publication of the scandal, Theodore Tilton, the husband of Elizabeth, sued Beecher for "alienation of affection." The trial in 1875 was sensationalized across the nation, and eventually resulted in a hung jury.^[33]

Woodhull again tried to gain nominations for the presidency in 1884 and 1892. Newspapers reported that her 1892 attempt culminated in her nomination by the "National Woman Suffragists' Nominating Convention" on 21st September. Mary L. Stowe of California was nominated as the candidate for vice president. The convention was held at Willard's Hotel in Boonville, New York, and Anna M. Parker was its president. Some woman's suffrage organizations repudiated the nominations, however, claiming that the nominating committee was unauthorized. Woodhull was quoted as saying that she was "destined" by "prophecy" to be elected president of the United States in the upcoming election.
