Prime Minister John Howard Australia:
Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.
Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques.
Quote: 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians'.
'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'. 'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!'
'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'
'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'
'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom,
'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'
'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'
Thank you Mr Howard for speaking the truth.
It's about time someone had the courage to say what most of us believe. Now we have a Muslim as president. Does anyone really believe he would put America First?????????????

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.'
It is the poor who habitually elect Democrats---yet they are still poor...
You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and
independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

Idiot Republican Speaks - Lindsey Graham
Now we have another idiot Lindsey Graham opening his mouth and talking about taking over the banking system. What, another empty minded senator thinks the banks may need to be taken over by the government. If this idiot had been watching Fannie/Freddie along with the other (Dodd, Kerry, Frank, Clinton, etc) jokes in Washington we wouldn't be in this mess now. Why do we need to take over ALL banks when only five or six should have been allowed to fail. There are over 5,000 Banks in the country that aren't in trouble which will also be taken over. Who would EVER go to a Government Bank that can't balance their own budget. Our country would have been able to survive if the failing banks and wall street companies folded that caused this. Yes, it would have been tough to watch but it would have been far better then letting our country be taken over by the GOVERNMENT.
This was a silent COUP and we the people stood by and watched. People who don't work, liberals, Government Workers, welfare recipient's run our country now. Just with their votes alone they control what happens. My grandfather, my father, my friends fought to protect this country and now it has died with freedom being lost. Big Brother rules America now.
Let me understand this, Senators/Representatives don't do their job and provide oversight as they are elected to do and we the American people get hosed with the bailout. Now this weak knee-ed senator mentions banks may need to be taken over and run by the government. This is the same government that screwed up Social Security, Medicaid, Prescription Card just to name a few. How many of you want to go the "Bank of the US" and try to get some pencil neck to loan you money?
We need the top 10% of income earners stop working for one year and that would stop the government cold. With no taxes coming in they would have to get the budget in order and learn to live within their means as "We the People" do. Government accountability is and will be a joke until they learn they don't have an unlimited budget with OUR money.
We the American People are so screwed and we allowd the idiots in Washington DC to do it. Remember, YOU voted them in, now what?

Hosed Again By Uncle Sammy
Bend over grab your ankles my fellow Americans as your uncle has hosed you again in the name of saving the economy. What crap this one is. The same idiots that caused the first branch to fall (Fannie/Freddie) are at it again in the name of saving the economy. These clowns have screwed this up as they did with the mortgage mess. They are spending money on everything but the important ones, JOBS/MORTGAGES. If I remember correctly didn't this all start with bad mortgages and mortgage packages?
These idiots made speeches about how wonderful the mortgage business is with Fannie/Freddie all the while it was stinking up the industry. Bad loans were being made and then packaged for Wall Street to purchase as investment vehicles only to fail when rates moved or the economy shook. Wall street should have know better and those that purchased these packages should have been FIRED not given a bonus. Congressman (Dodd/Kerry/Frank/Clinton/etc) pushed Fannie/Freddie to make loans for people that had no verifiable income or jobs because they were lower income citizens. OUR ELECTED OFFICALS PUSHED BAD LOANS AND THEN ACTED LIKE THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED, BULLSHIT. When questions came up about tightening the requirements for loans, those that did were accused of being "Racist". The idiots that called those "Racist" are now the same ones passing the stimulus package.
What the hell is wrong with the American people that they are too damn stupid to allow this to happen. Have we all become a bunch of sheep to be lead around and told what to do. This is our F--ing country and we let the select few control our lives. I'm sorry but people like Pelosi, Frank, Reid and the rest of the liars don't represent most Americans.
Only three weeks into Obama rein he has become the newest liar along with the rest. Yes, we know he didn't tell the truth during the campaign but what person does while running for office. Now he is just another empty suit letting Pelosi and Reid run the country.
In two years we can take back the conservative agenda that America needs and wipe out some of the damage done by this stimulus package. I can only hope it is not too late.

A Sensible Democrat that Republicans Can Support
Democratic congressman:
80% of 'stimulus' bill is waste, and only 30% will be spent by 2010
Here's just some of the news on the offensive and wasteful piece of legislation that is being called "the stimulus bill."Idaho's KLEW reports on first-term Idaho Congressman Walt Minnick, who was one of only 11 Democrats to vote against the House version of the bill. Minnick is part of the so-called "moderate" or "fiscally conservative" group of Democrats in the Blue Dog Coalition; remember that Democratic Congressman Dennis Moore claims to be a part of this group, even though Moore voted for the legislation. Minnick has introduced his own version of the bill, that is over 80% smaller than the bill discussed in the Senate:
"The biggest difference is that I've cut out everything that doesn't create jobs in this year and next," Minnick said Thursday. "It's only $174 billion, $650 billion less than what the House passed and probably $750 billion less than the trillion dollar bill the Senate is talking about. It focuses on infrastructure spending, there's $70 billion on bridges, roads and school construction and there's $100 billion on tax cuts to middle and low income people.
Minnick also says this:
Minnick said his proposal would spend all the money by the end of 2010, while the White House proposal would only spend 30 percent of the larger amount they're proposing.
Thank you to the Staff for locating a wonderful article to post.

"A failure to act, and act now, will turn crisis into a catastrophe."
President Obama, Feb. 4.
Catastrophe, mind you. So much for the president who in his inaugural address two weeks earlier declared "we have chosen hope over fear." Until, that is, you need fear to pass a bill.
And so much for the promise to banish the money changers and influence peddlers from the temple. An ostentatious executive order banning lobbyists was immediately followed by the nomination of at least a dozen current or former lobbyists to high position. Followed by a Treasury secretary who allegedly couldn't understand the payroll tax provisions in his 1040. Followed by Tom Daschle, who had to fall on his sword according to the new Washington rule that no Cabinet can have more than one tax delinquent.
The Daschle affair was more serious because his offense involved more than taxes. As Michael Kinsley once observed, in Washington the real scandal isn't what's illegal, but what's legal. Not paying taxes is one thing. But what made this case intolerable was the perfectly legal dealings that amassed Daschle $5.2 million in just two years.
He'd been getting $1 million per year from a law firm. But he's not a lawyer, nor a registered lobbyist. You don't get paid this kind of money to instruct partners on the Senate markup process. You get it for picking up the phone and peddling influence.
At least Tim Geithner, the tax-challenged Treasury secretary, had been working for years as a humble international civil servant earning non-stratospheric wages. Daschle, who had made another cool million a year (plus chauffeur and Caddy) for unspecified services to a pal's private equity firm, represented everything Obama said he'd come to Washington to upend.
And yet more damaging to Obama's image than all the hypocrisies in the appointment process is his signature bill: the stimulus package. He inexplicably delegated the writing to Nancy Pelosi and the barons of the House. The product, which inevitably carries Obama's name, was not just bad, not just flawed, but a legislative abomination.
It's not just pages and pages of special-interest tax breaks, giveaways and protections, one of which would set off a ruinous Smoot-Hawley trade war. It's not just the waste, such as the $88.6 million for new construction for Milwaukee Public Schools, which, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, have shrinking enrollment, 15 vacant schools and, quite logically, no plans for new construction.
It's the essential fraud of rushing through a bill in which the normal rules (committee hearings, finding revenue to pay for the programs) are suspended on the grounds that a national emergency requires an immediate job-creating stimulus -- and then throwing into it hundreds of billions that have nothing to do with stimulus, that Congress's own budget office says won't be spent until 2011 and beyond, and that are little more than the back-scratching, special-interest, lobby-driven parochialism that Obama came to Washington to abolish. He said.
Not just to abolish but to create something new -- a new politics where the moneyed pork-barreling and corrupt logrolling of the past would give way to a bottom-up, grass-roots participatory democracy. That is what made Obama so dazzling and new. Turns out the "fierce urgency of now" includes $150 million for livestock (and honeybee and farm-raised fish) insurance.
The Age of Obama begins with perhaps the greatest frenzy of old-politics influence peddling ever seen in Washington. By the time the stimulus bill reached the Senate, reports the Wall Street Journal, pharmaceutical and high-tech companies were lobbying furiously for a new plan to repatriate overseas profits that would yield major tax savings. California wine growers and Florida citrus producers were fighting to change a single phrase in one provision. Substituting "planted" for "ready to market" would mean a windfall garnered from a new "bonus depreciation" incentive.
After Obama's miraculous 2008 presidential campaign, it was clear that at some point the magical mystery tour would have to end. The nation would rub its eyes and begin to emerge from its reverie. The hallucinatory Obama would give way to the mere mortal. The great ethical transformations promised would be seen as a fairy tale that all presidents tell -- and that this president told better than anyone.
I thought the awakening would take six months. It took two and a half weeks. letters@charleskrauthammer.com

INTERESTING COMMENTARY FROM A FEMALE AIR FORCE VETERAN, KIT LANGE, WHO IS NOW A TALK SHOW HOST:
Kit Lange’s* Predictions for the New Obama "Presidency"
Now that America has shown us all that affirmative action even works in politics, I've compiled a list of things that you can probably expect to happen. These predictions are 80% gleaned from information all of us have access to, 15% gut instinct based on many years of research, historical study, and being glued to current affairs. The other 5% is just anger at my countryman's stupidity - I admit it.
Websites and mass emails offering "free grants," courtesy of the government and "Obama's wealth redistribution." Actually, this one's a freebie, because I have an email with a date timestamp of literally minutes after Obama was declared the winner, offering exactly that.
Israel will understand this election was the end of any type of assistance, military or otherwise, from the U.S., and will stop holding back their defense at the request of the American administration. Look for a first strike on Iran soon, as well as increased activity by the Israeli military in general. Israel is on her own now, and God help us all because of it.
Look for Iranian retaliation--against American targets. That goes doubly for other terrorist organizations. We just elected a man with the full endorsement of every major terrorist group in the world as leader of the free world. It's the political equivalent of hiring a child molester to babysit your kids while you leave for the weekend. Not only is HE going to have fun with your child, but he'll probably sit and watch while his friends come over and do it too.
Look for far-left justices appointed to the Supreme Court, effectively tying up the entire government in a trifecta of liberal humanism, the buzzwords of which remain empty platitudes like "hope and change," and the ultimate goal of which is Socialism--and soon, Sharia law.
Military cases of troops being tried and convicted for killing the enemy in combat will continue to rise—and the conviction/plea-bargain rate will stay at nearly 100%, as the government seeks to use the best men and women this country has to offer as sacrificial lambs on the altar of global appeasement. Those brave and honorable men who currently reside in prison cells across the country, stripped of their rank, their careers, families, and their good name, will not taste free air again for many years. Their sacrifices and their stories will be forgotten by the general public, remembered only by those of us who continue to fight for them.
Look for the slow but steady erosion of rights you have enjoyed for your entire lives--all the while being told it's "for your own good." Restrictions on gun ownership, home schooling, encouraged dependence on the ever-growing federal government. More nanny-state provisions will be put into place to protect the "disadvantaged" and the "poor," (read: lazy, uneducated, unwilling to better themselves) even while groups like the unborn, the mentally handicapped, elderly, and terminally ill are slowly pushed toward euthanasia. Of course, this will be done with feel-good phrases like "death with dignity," "not wanting to be a burden," and "merciful release from suffering," all of which ignore the basic fact that we are killing people without their consent for the "good of the people." Before you tell me I'm crazy, let's just remember that Barack Obama was the ONLY senator in the Illinois state senate to vote against providing medical care for babies who were inconsiderate enough to survive an abortion. Also, look for taxes to go up. Yes, they'll go up.
You think the economy is bad now? Just wait. You'll have the most expensive "free" health care ever. Bread lines aren't just for Russians anymore.
We have traded experience for color, freedom for slavery--and the irony is that the average American sheep thinks their vote somehow righted an ancient wrong, somehow ENDED the specter of slavery and ushered in some beautiful era of liberty. In reality, we are about to be less free than you ever thought possible.
I watched the faces of those crowded into the mob (excuse the pun) in Chicago . They stared at Obama like he was a god, an idol, a panacea to their every want and need. We have truly failed as a nation if we are at the point where we feel we must look to one man to take care of us all, to be our father figure and our sugar daddy. We have lost not only the "can-do" attitude of past generations, but the "MUST-do" attitude of our forefathers. We have allowed ourselves to become reduced from Patrick Henry's proud cry of "liberty or death" to the sniveling, whining idea that we are owed something. We have gone from being the honorable defenders of freedom, to being told we are the problem.
The eyes of Obama and McCain were also telling. McCain acted with class and grace in his concession speech, offering the most honorable response I've seen yet. I don't agree with all of McCain's positions, but it cannot be denied that the man has served his nation—at permanent and severe detriment to himself--for half a century. His eyes were clear and sincere, honest. His speech underlined the very reasons why, of the two men offered, he was hands down the best choice.
On the other hand, Obama's eyes were cold, calculating. His manner was smug and still carried the arrogance he has always had. His facial expression was one of barely disguised disdain for everything people like me believe in. His body language was smooth, polished-- too much so. He talked of patriotism as though it is a value he is familiar with--and yet, his horrifying attitude toward the country he now leads is as well-documented as his friendships with those who seek its demise. He is charismatic to those who don't know what to look for, and he is inspiring to those who cannot or will not think for themselves.
However, too many who voted for him are guilty of the most dangerous kind of hypocrisy. You see, we are told daily that we must not see color, just mankind. (We are all family, you know--or so we're told.) And yet Barack Obama was handed the White House on a silver platter by a fawning media, a bevy of foreign donors (who, to this day and in violation of U.S. election laws, remain nameless and unaccounted for), and a populace who voted based on color instead of right and wrong--even in the face of the most damning evidence against a Presidential candidate in many years , perhaps ever.
It is said that the people receive the government they deserve. Sadly, I fear that's correct. We have become complacent, unwilling to see the writing on the wall, content to frolic in the warm water without bothering to notice that it's been getting hotter by the minute. We are two seconds from a rolling boil--and perhaps it is already too late.
So, liberals, enjoy your victory. Jump around. Have a party, file for your free grants. Scream "Gimme my handout!" and make fun of those of us who fought to make sure your "messiah" didn't get access to the most powerful position in the world. Just remember when it all comes crashing down: You own the White House, the Congress, and soon the Supreme Court. You have no one to blame but yourselves for the mess you just created.
As for me, I'm buying my handguns this week so I have an answer for those who will come try to take them.

Is Communism Is Coming???????
Have you ever thought the Liberals are really closet Communists? They (Dodd, Frank, Obama, Clinton, Kerry) allowed the mortgage companies to ruin our financial systems while standing by proclaiming what a wonderful job they were doing. One of the callers to a radio talk show mentioned Revolution and if we needed another to take back our country. The radio host was scared of the question and cut him off after the question was asked but not answered.
My father said it would happen again and here was a man that fought in WWII and Korea saying it was going to happen again. Only the future will tell but the thought is scary. Read the passage below for it will scare the hell out of you as it is happening NOW.
Owners of capital will stimulate the working class to buy more and more expensive goods, houses, and technology pushing them to take on more and more expensive credits, until their debt becomes unbearable. The unpaid debt will lead to the bankruptcy of banks, which will have to be nationalized, and the State will have to take the road which will eventually lead to communism.

Where is the Outrage - More Crooks In Washington, Thanks Barack
Poor Barack is apparently having a problem finding Cabinet members who aren't felons. It's as bad as coaching in Dallas!
Tim Geitner has a tax problem which he calls a "stupid mistake."
Tom Daschle...the same Tom Daschle who was so outspoken about the honesty of George W. Bush...has a tax problem he calls a "stupid mistake."
Anyone buying that? Well...there's a lot of "stupid mistake" going around. Must be the water.
Obviously, Obama, Inc. (in an effort to dis-egg the noble, FDR-esque presidential visage) wants you to believe that anyone can make a mistake and their script says that "you too might have made a tax mistake in the past and wouldn't you like to be forgiven and given a new chance?" (This is when you shake your head up and down.)
Do not be deceived by this.
There is no connection between any IRS problem you might have had with either this scenario or these people. Take serious note of the fact that they are different and are treated very differently by the system. They are people who have been (at least) temporarily elevated to the Ruling Class and, like feudal lords, are "the elect" thus immune from the "slings and arrows" of the Bard's "outrageous fortunes."
Ask yourself if you can see either Tom or Tim shipping the kids off to the movies and then sitting at the old dining room table some Sunday afternoon early in April with a shoebox full of receipts and a copy of Turbo-Tax perking away in the family laptop.
In Daschle's case he has no excuse at all, being a Senator he gets his taxes done for free by the IRS if he wants to give them his financial details. There's even an IRS "Consulting Office" right in the Capitol. IRS prepared returns are automatically audit-proof but, regardless, it's not likely the IRS's guys'll make mistakes like these. (In case you didn't know it, Congressmen don't have to pay interest and penalties on their tax errors...but you do!)
Nope, these guys are guilty of the same kind of chicanery as that of which they so quickly accuse their political opponents only in their case, it's real and (worse for them) it's out there.
To paraphrase an old Indiana Jones movie, Barack has shown a tendency to not choose his friends wisely...if Tony Reszko and Bill Ayers are any testimony.
