The Screwing of America By Democrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FOX NEWS – 3 ArticleS we thought you would be interested in – The medical loss ratio aspect or portion of this bill was brought to our attention by Sen Burr. Your commentaries or news room needs to really expose this and let the American people know what is actually going on. This has extreme ramifications on our society as a whole and is being done behind the backs of the general public. READ SEC. 9010 of Health Care Reform Bill and Sec 10923 in Managers Amendment.

CBO: 90% Medical Loss Ratio Would Make Private Insurance A Government Program
http://wonkroom.thinkprogress.org/2009/12/14/cbo-90-mlr/

A compromise provision in the Senate health care bill that requires insurers to rebate beneficiaries if they fail to spend 90% of premium dollars on medical care could add new costs to the federal government, limiting health reform’s deficit reductions. Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) inserted the new medical loss ration (MLR) requirement (for insurers participating in the small or individual group markets) during the Gang of 10 public option negotiations, but a new directive from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) may force Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) to abandon the provision and could further undermine the now defunct compromise.
The CBO’s “harsh assessment” concluded that the 90% MLR requirement — which insurers would only have to maintain until 2014 — “would devastate the industry“:

A proposal to require health insurers to provide rebates to their enrollees to the extent that their medical loss ratios are less than 90 percent would effectively force insurers to achieve a high medical loss ratio. Combining this requirement with the other provisions of the PPACA would greatly restrict flexibility related to the sale and purchase of health insurance. In CBO’s view, this further expansion of the federal government’s role in the health insurance market would make such insurance an essentially governmental program, so that all payments related to health insurance policies should be recorded as cash flows in the federal budget.
The question of whether certain purchases of private health insurance “should be treated as part of the federal budget” is not insignificant. During President Clinton’s push to pass comprehensive health care reform, the CBO decided that “payments to and from the ‘health alliances’ should be included in the accounts of the federal government.” The decision artificially increased the bill’s score, dooming its chances in Congress.

Rockefeller argues that insurers that receive government subsidies should be required to spend those dollars on health care, not administrative overhead or profit. The 90% ratio replaced an existing provision that required insurers to maintain a medical loss ratio of 85%.

Wendell Potter Says Franken Bill Will Go Far to Control Medical Costs
http://crooksandliars.com/susie-madrak/wendell-potter-says-franken-bill-will
By Susie Madrak Monday Dec 07, 2009 9:00am
Former CIGNA executive Wendell Potter says one of the most important things we can do to reform health care is to control the medical loss ratio - something Al Franken, Jay Rockefeller and other senators are attempting to do:

Today, insurers only pay about 81 cents of each premium dollar on actual medical care. The rest is consumed by rising profits, grotesque executive salaries, huge administrative expenses, the cost of weeding out people with pre-existing conditions and claims review designed to wear out patients with denials and disapproval's of the care they need the most.

This equation is known as the medical loss ratio (MLR), an aptly named figure that is widely seen by investors as the most important gauge of an insurance company's current and future profitability. In a private health insurance industry that collected $817 billion this year, a 14 percentage point difference in the MLR represents $112 billion a year! Over 10 years, that would be more than enough to pay for health reform.

Thanks to the efforts of several senators who pushed for a minimum MLR to be included in reform legislation, the current Senate bill requires insurers to provide an annual rebate to each enrollee if non-claims costs exceed 20% in the group market and 25% in the individual market.
Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) is now leading a group including Sens. Jay Rockefeller (D-W. Va.) and Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.) to introduce an amendment that would go further by requiring that 90 percent of the money consumers spend on health insurance premiums go directly to health care costs.

The senators are proposing a reform that strikes at the heart of a health insurance system that puts profits first, and it would have a profound effect. When MLRs increase, that eats into profits, and Wall Street becomes very unhappy. A case in point is Aetna, the nation's third largest publicly-traded health insurance plan. Three years ago, the company reported that its quarterly MLR had inched up from 77.9 percent to 79.4 percent in 12 months. On the day this was disclosed, Aetna's share price plunged 20 percent as investors sold off their shares, reducing the company's market value by billions of dollars.

Wall Street investors expect insurers to pay as little as possible for medical claims. As a result, the nation's health insurance industry has evolved into a cartel of huge for-profit companies that together reap billions of dollars a year at the expense of their policyholders. The seven largest firms -- UnitedHealth Group, WellPoint, Aetna, Humana, CIGNA, Health Net, and Coventry Health Care -- enroll nearly one in three Americans in their health insurance plans. This year the industry will take about $25 billion in profits for getting between American patients and their doctors, according to the industry's trade group.

And they do this by finding every excuse in the book not to pay a claim, even if it means canceling individual policies when people get sick or ridding their rolls of unprofitable small business group policies if an employee or family member falls seriously ill. They issue confusing benefit statements to members so only highly motivated and persistent challengers of their denials stand a chance of reversing an unfair decision. And in the final analysis, when an insurance company has decided it no longer can make enough profit on a particular person or employer-sponsored group, it drives them away in a process known as "purging."
In this unconscionable profit-protection maneuver, an insurer will hike premiums so high that the policyholder has no choice but to pay outlandish rates for what may be a reduced benefit package, find another insurer, or simply go without coverage. The consequences of such decisions can be deadly -- but Wall Street always has the last word when profits are the main consideration.
When Wall Street isn't calling the shots, the outcome is decidedly better for health care consumers. Government-operated plans, such as Medicare, and some organizations that provide coordinated care, consistently maintain higher medical loss ratios. Kaiser had a 90.6 percent MLR in 2007. Between 1993 and 2007, Medicare's MLR hasn't dropped below 97 percent.
The health care reform bill now being debated in the Senate must include a provision, such as that proposed by Sen. Franken, that sets a minimum medical loss ratio to keep insurers from gouging consumers and leaving patients without the care they need. Instead of being a formula to reward investors, a properly regulated medical loss ratio in combination with other cost containment measures in the legislation would be a reliable tool for keeping insurance company profits and administrative waste in check.

Medical-Loss Ratio 3
Does A Higher Medical-Loss Ratio Reduce Insurer Profits?
http://wonkroom.thinkprogress.org/2009/11/16/medical-loss/

Over at Open Congress, Donny Shaw wonders why the House health bill doesn’t extend its requirement that insurers maintain an 85% medical-loss ratio once the Exchange becomes operative in 2013:

Once the bill is enacted, all health insurance plans would be required to spend at least 85 cents of every dollar paid in premiums each year to providing actual health care. If, in a given year, an insurer doesn’t spend that amount on health care, they would have to give their extra profit back to their customers in the form of rebates. [...]

But there’s a twist to all of this. The version of the bill that was passed by the House last weekend includes the provision, but also includes some curious, new “sunset” language. The sunset language states that the new minimum medical loss ratio requirements “shall not apply to health insurance coverage on and after the first date that health insurance coverage is offered through the Health Insurance Exchange.” In other words, in 2013, when most of the bill takes effect, the medical loss ratio language would be null and void. There would be no more profit control, just the market competition that is provided by whatever form of the public option is included in the bill.

“This really doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. What’s the point of including it in the legislation if it’s not going to apply once the bulk of the bill takes effect?,” Shaw asks.

Shaw’s concern is well taken, but a higher medical-loss ratio would not prevent private insurers from shifting a disproportionate amount of premium dollars into profits. It would do very little to improve care quality. If anything, plans could be encouraged to pay more for certain services (to meet the benchmark) and exclude certain benefits from coverage (benefits which would attract a sicker risk pool).

As James C. Robinson points out in this Health Affairs article, “High ratios can be achieved either through a large numerator (high medical expenditures) or through a small denominator (low insurance premiums).” In 2007, for instance, 6 of the 7 largest publicly-traded health insurers reported that their profits increased by 10%, while their medical loss ratios also went up. The same could happen after 2013. Once the Exchange is established, insurers will spend less on administrative expenses (reform will limit their ability to underwrite policies and the Exchange will streamline certain administrative tasks), and their medical-loss ratio will likely increase. This does not mean that they’re spending more money on patient care or shifting less towards profits.

Health reform should strongly encourage insurers to spend more premium dollars on financing quality health care, and less on administrative costs. The House legislation accomplishes that goal by prohibiting insurers from maximizing profits and denying coverage to Americans with pre-existing conditions. It establishes guaranteed issue and renewal rules, prohibits rescission, requires information transparency and plan disclosure, mandates plans to offer minimum benefits packages and eliminates cost sharing on preventive services. Still, more can be done. Policy makers may better achieve the goal of forcing insurers to spend premium dollars on health care by increasing the minimum actuarial value of health plans and only admitting insurers with high quality standards and low administrative overheads into the Exchange

Medical Loss Ratio 4
http://www.morningstar.com/1/3/80270-update-us-senate-democrats-seek-health-care-deal-tuesday.html

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- U.S. Senate Democrats worked to forge agreement Tuesday on health-care overhaul legislation as they finalized major new provisions to the bill that would expand the Medicare and Medicaid programs.

A number of Democrats cited Tuesday as a critical day for the bill, as they seek to send legislation to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office in time to receive a cost estimate and schedule a final vote before Christmas.

"It's a day where a lot of things have to come together, if we hope to finish this in a reasonable time," said Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D., Ill.).

Durbin cited the need to send the bill to the CBO and the lengthy amount of time it could take for the bill to overcome procedural hurdles in the Senate before a final vote, a process he said would take "a number of days."

The urgency comes as a group of 10 moderates and liberals assembled by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) works to finish a compromise on key provisions in the bill by the end of the day. They are trying to come up with an agreement that will enjoy the support of at least 60 senators, the number needed to break a potential Republican filibuster of the bill.
The group of 10, which met Tuesday morning, is considering changes to the bill that would scale down its version of a public health insurance plan, allow those 55 and older to buy into the Medicare program and expand eligibility for the low-income Medicaid program.
"If we can come to agreement with people in this room, it doesn't mean we're home, but we've made a big step forward," said Sen. Charles Schumer (D., N.Y.).

But it's unclear if some key senators will be willing to support the compromise. Sen. Olympia Snowe (R., Maine), who is considered a swing vote on the bill, told reporters that she had "deep concerns" about the proposed changes to Medicare and Medicaid.

But Snowe said a proposal to scrap the bill's public plan and instead create an
alternative plan administered by the Office of Personnel Management and run by a nonprofit entity "makes sense" and is "an attractive option."

While senators had discussed expanding Medicaid eligibility to cover those with incomes at up to 150% of the federal poverty level, Schumer suggested Tuesday that "there are different things you can do on the Medicaid end of things" besides expanding eligibility.

The group is also discussing stiffer regulations on the health insurance industry as part of the compromise. Sens. Jay Rockefeller (D., W.Va.) and Ben Nelson (D., Neb.) are working together on a series of proposals that would include possible new restrictions on how companies spend money they raise from premiums.

Rockefeller said the group had discussed adding a provision stating that insurance companies would have to spend at least 90% of money raised from premiums on medical care, rather than devoting those funds to administrative costs or profits. The proportion is known in the insurance industry as "medical loss ratio."

"There have to be other ways to encourage discipline and self-restraint... and medical loss ratio is a very strong example," Rockefeller said.

Rockefeller said the medical loss ratio could be averaged over a three-year period in order to account for possible aberrations in a company's costs.

The Senate is set to vote Tuesday on an amendment offered by Nelson to the health overhaul bill that would put in place strict restriction intended to block federal funding for abortion in health plans offered by an insurance " exchange" created by the bill.

The amendment is modeled after a provision in the House-passed version of the bill that would bar the public health insurance option, as well as any health plans accepting enrollees that receive tax credits from the bill, from covering abortions.

The amendment is expected to fail. But Reid signalled Tuesday that further negotiations would take place with Nelson after the vote.

"If, in fact, he doesn't succeed here, we'll try something else," Reid said.
Sen. Bob Casey (D., Pa.), an anti-abortion Democrat who has co-sponsored Nelson's amendment, echoed Reid's comments.

"After this vote, no matter what the vote is, this discussion is going to continue," Casey said.

Health Care - The Screwing of America

After trying to read only a small section of the so called health care bill, I want to arm myself and get ready to fight for the freedom of having my family receive care when needed from the doctor I SELECT and go to the hospital I SELECT. Reading only a small portion I realized what I have been hearing is correct, THE IS A MAJOR POWER GRAB BY THE GOVERNMENT.

These clowns even mention control over the purchase of Guns, Ammunition, where they are stored, etc. in a HEALTH CARE BILL Remember, when the government takes our right to bear arms we will no longer be able to decide or freedoms. The bastards, yes I used a bad word but they deserve it and far more then I will say.

To say they are traitors to the Constitution is mild as Obama the Traitor has already shredded the laws by taking over Banks, Car companies, not following bankruptcy laws. The congress, well they are just a bunch of dirt bags and would anyone really miss them if they just went away. One good thing would be Washington couldn't screw up anything else.

Remember what this joke of a president said:

"My Friends: We live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it".
Well, all the idiots who couldn't see what he was and voted for this clown should be happy now. Just think, you have screwed over your children, grandchildren, parents and last but not least, yourselves.
Your children will live in a second rate country, your grandchildren will be living in poverty as they try to pay for the clowns debt he is loading on them. Oh, if you think rich people will stick around to get hosed, think again. They didn't get rich to see it taken to pay for people too lazy to get off their butts and earn a living. I don't want to hear I've had it easy, hell, I lived in my car at one time and worked daily jobs to live until I got my act together.
I remember working at a finance (70's) company and seeing people receive ADC, work full time, drive caddies and yet they lived in government housing. Yep, a bunch of free loaders then and we have the same thing now. Remember Detroit, thousands showed up for "OBAMA'S MONEY", hell they are to stupid to understand it isn't the chosen ones money, IT IS OUR MONEY AND WE WORK DAMN HARD FOR IT. Now we get to watch while it is flushed (wanted to use the P word) away just like some many past congress have done.
It is not only the Dem's who have screwed up our country but the Republicans get the heat also.
You idiots in congress need to FIX HEALTH CARE, not screw up this country any more then you have already. I could select 10 people who could come up with a better bill and NOT STICK IN ANYTHING IN IT EXCEPT HEALTH CARE.
Anyone who votes for this monster, be aware, WE THE PEOPLE ARE GOING TO "VOTE THE BUMS OUT", get ready, time is short for you.
I sincerely hope someone out there has the balls to comment as to what We the People can come up with to write a better bill with Tort reform, insurance across state lines or even GET THE SAME HEALTH CARE CONGRESS HAS". If it is so great, why did congress exempt themselves from this bill just as they do with ALL bills.
Any Congressman or Senators care to comment on the last item? You're all a bunch of traitors to freedom and it will cost you big.

Read and Remember 9/11, Muslims STILL want to Kill Us

I, Gene Hackemack, received this email from my good friend Tedd Petruna, a diver at the NBL facility [Neutral Buoyancy Lab], at NASA Houston, whom I used to work with. Tedd happened to be on this same Flt. 297, Atlanta to Houston.

In my opinion, the muslims are all getting very brave now, since they have one of their own in the white house......read Tedd's story below.
Semper Fi Gene Hackemack

PS...can you imagine, our own news media now are so politically correct that they are afraid to report that these were all muslims...unbelievable.

Thank God for people like Tedd Petruna.

Subject: Long story short....

One week ago, I went to Ohio on business and to see my father. On Tuesday, November the 17th, I returned home. If you read the papers the 18th you may have seen a blurb where a AirTran flight was cancelled from Atlanta to Houston due to a man who refused to get off of his cell phone before takeoff. It was on Fox.

This was NOT what happened.

I was in 1st class coming home. 11 Muslim men got on the plane in full attire. 2 sat in 1st class and the rest peppered themselves throughout the plane all the way to the back. As the plane taxied to the runway the stewardesses gave the safety spiel we are all so familiar with. At that time, one of the men got on his cell and called one of his companions in the back and proceeded to talk on the phone in Arabic very loudly and very aggressively.

This took the 1st stewardess out of the picture for she repeatedly told the man that cell phones were not permitted at the time. He ignored her as if she was not there. The 2nd man who answered the phone did the same and this took out the 2nd stewardess. In the back of the plane at this time, 2 younger Muslims, one in the back aisle, and one in front of him, window, began to show footage of a porno they had taped the night before, and were very loud about it. Now..they are only permitted to do this prior to Jihad. If a Muslim man goes into a strip club, he has to view the woman via mirror with his back to her. (don't ask me..I don't make the rules, but I've studied) The 3rd stewardess informed them that they were not to have electronic devices on at this time. To which one of the men said "shut up infidel dog!"

She went to take the camcorder and he began to scream in her face in Arabic. At that exact moment, all 11 of them got up and started to walk the cabin. This is where I had had enough! I got up and started to the back where I heard a voice behind me from another Texan twice my size say "I got your back." I grabbed the man who had been on the phone by the arm and said "you WILL go sit down or you Will be thrown from this plane!" As I "led" him around me to take his seat, the fellow Texan grabbed him by the back of his neck and his waist and headed out with him. I then grabbed the 2nd man and said, "You WILL do the same!" He protested but adrenaline was flowing now and he was going to go. As I escorted him forward the plane doors open and 3 TSA agents and 4 police officers entered.

Me and my new Texan friend were told to cease and desist for they had this under control. I was happy to oblige actually. There was some commotion in the back, but within moments, all 11 were escorted off the plane. They then unloaded their luggage.

We talked about the occurrence and were in disbelief that it had happen, when suddenly, the door open again and on walked all 11!! Stone faced, eyes front and robotic (the only way I can describe it). The stewardess from the back had been in tears and when she saw this, she was having NONE of it! Being that I was up front, I heard and saw the whole ordeal. She told the TSA agent there was NO WAY she was staying on the plane with these men. The agent told her they had searched them and were going to go through their luggage with a fine tooth comb and that they were allowed to proceed to Houston. The captain and co-captain came out and told the agent "we and our crew will not fly this plane!" After a word or two, the entire crew, luggage in tow, left the plane. 5 minutes later, the cabin door opened again and a whole new crew walked on.

Again...this is where I had had enough!!! I got up and asked "What the hell is going on!?!?" I was told to take my seat. They were sorry for the delay and I would be home shortly. I said "I'm getting off this plane". The stewardess sternly told me that she could not allow me to get off. (now I'm mad!) I said "I am a grown man who bought this ticket, whose time is mine with a family at home and I am going through that door, or I'm going through that door with you under my arm!! But I am going through that door!!" And I heard a voice behind me say "so am I".

Then everyone behind us started to get up and say the same. Within 2 minutes, I was walking off that plane where I was met with more agents who asked me to write a statement. I had 5 hours to kill at this point so why the hell not. Due to the amount of people who got off that flight, it was cancelled. I was supposed to be in Houston at 6pm. I got here at 12:30am. Look up the date. Flight #297 Atlanta to Houston. If this wasn't a dry run, I don't know what one is. The terrorists wanted to see how TSA would handle it, how the crew would handle it, and how the passengers would handle it.

I'm telling this to you because I want you to know..The threat is real. I saw it with my own eyes.. -Tedd Petruna

This was sent to us and I have tried to verify if this is true or not. From what I can find (snopes.com), it is not accurate. As with all items written to stir the pot of hate, we must watch closely that we try not to fall prey to these lies. It is hard enough to see our real enemies. If it did take place no one is talking and we should not pass it on.

The Staff

Update: After reading and seeing additional information, something did take place with 11+ Muslim men aboard the flight. Maybe this was a test of how people would react. There have been reports that Mr. Petruna was never on board yet he claims to have a boarding pass. After the last problem with Muslim men aboard a plane and being forced off due to their conduct, this may have happened on purpose. The last group won a lawsuit and now airlines may not want to challenge them.

All we know for sure now is, Muslim men created a disturbance by not following the attendants orders about cells phones and the first flight crew refused to fly them. If we hurt their feelings to bad, I don't remember Jews, Christians, Hindus or anyone except Muslims flying into the towers.

A WWII Hero Speaks

This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii
for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes
all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body,
he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now.
He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president.

Dear President Obama,

My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year. People meeting me for the first time don't believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.

I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos'n Mate. Now I live in a "rest home" located on the western end of Pearl Harbor, allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.

One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man.

So here goes.

I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do, but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish.

I can't figure out what country you are the president of.
You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like:
" We're no longer a Christian nation"
" America is arrogant" - (Your wife even
announced to the world,"America is mean-
spirited. " Please tell her to try preaching
that nonsense to 23 generations of our
war dead buried all over the globe who
died for no other reason than to free a
whole lot of strangers from tyranny and
hopelessness.)
I'd say shame on the both of you, but I don't think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.

After 9/11 you said," America hasn't lived up to her ideals."

Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British? Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War? I hope you didn't mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around, because we stand for freedom.

I don't think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.

Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.

Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don't, I'll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue. You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.

And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don't want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts, who was putting up a fight? You don't mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don't want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.

One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life, but you're the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you're not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you're thinking of.

You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president.
You're not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy. That's not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now.
And I sure as hell don't want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle.

Sincerely,
Harold B. Estes

When a 95 year old hero of the "the Greatest Generation"
stands up and speaks out like this, I think we owe it
to him to send his words to as many Americans as
we can. Please pass it on.
Thanks to the unknown person who sent this.

Christmas Alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There will be no Nativity Scene in Washington this year! The Supreme Court has ruled that there cannot be a Nativity Scene in the United States Capital this Christmas season. This isn't for any religious reason. They simply have not been able to find Three Wise Men in the Nation's Capitol. A search for a Virgin continues. There was no problem, however, finding enough asses to fill the stable.

Hell, back in 1990, the Government seized the Mustang Ranch brothel in Nevada for tax evasion and, as required by law, tried to run it.. They failed and it closed.

When he appointed a science czar, John Holdren, who believes in forced abortions, mass sterilizations, and seizing babies from teen mothers, people said it didn't matter.

When he appointed Cass Sunstein as regulatory czar who believes in "Explicit Consent", harvesting human organs without family consent, and to allow animals to be represented in court, while banning all hunting, people said it didn't matter.

When he appointed Kevin Jennings, a homosexual, and organizer of a group called gay, lesbian, straight, Education network, as safe school czar and it became known that he had a history of bad advice to teenagers, people said it didn't matter.

When he appointed Mark Lloyd as diversity czar and he believed in curtailing free speech, taking from one and giving to another to spread the wealth and admires Hugo Chavez, people said it didn't matter.

When Valerie Jarrett was selected as Obama's senior White House advisor and she is an avowed Socialist, people said it didn't matter.

When Anita Dunn, White House Communications director said Mao Tse Tung was her favorite philosopher and the person she turned to most for inspiration, people said it didn't matter.

When he appointed Carol Browner as global warming czar, and she is a well known socialist, a directing member of the Socialist International, working on Cap and trade as the nations largest tax, people said it doesn't matter.

When he traveled around the world criticizing America and never once talking of her greatness, people said it didn't matter.

When his actions concerning the middle-east seemed to support the Palestinians over Israel, our long time friend, people said it doesn't matter.

When he took American tax dollars to resettle thousands of Palestinians from Gaza to the United States, people said it doesn't matter.

When he upset the Europeans by removing plans for a missile defense system against the Russians, people said it doesn't matter.

When he played politics in Afghanistan by not sending troops the Field Commanders said we had to have to win, people said it didn't matter.

When he started spending us into a debt that was so big we could not pay it off, people said it didn't matter.

When he took a huge spending bill under the guise of stimulus and used it to pay off organizations, unions and individuals that got him elected, people said it didn't matter.

When he took over insurance companies, car companies, banks, etc. people said it didn't matter.

When he took away student loans from the banks and put it through the government, people said it didn't matter.

When he designed plans to take over the health care system and put it under government control, people said it didn't matter.

When he set into motion a plan to take over the control of all energy in the United States through Cap and Trade, people said it didn't matter.

When he finally completed his transformation of America into a Socialist State, people finally woke up........ but it was too late.

Any one of these things, in and of themselves does not really matter. But.... when you add them up one by one you get a phenomenal score that points to the fact that our Obama is determined to make America over into a Marxist/Socialist society. All of the items in the preceding paragraphs have been put into place. All can be documented very easily. Before you disavow this, do an internet search. The last paragraph alone is not yet cast in stone. You and I will write that paragraph. Will it read as above or will it be a more happy ending for most of America ? Personally, I like happy endings.

If you are an Obama Supporter, please do not be angry with me because I think the President of your choice is a socialist, but there are too many facts supporting this. If you seek the truth you will be richer for it. Don't just belittle the opposition. Search for the truth. I did. Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Constitutionalist, Libertarians and what have you, we all need to pull together. We all must pull together or watch the demise of a society that we all love and cherish.

If you are a religious person, pray for our nation.Never before in the history of America have we been confronted with problems so huge that the very existence of our country is in jeopardy. Don't rely on most television news and what you read in the newspapers for the truth. Search the internet. Yes, there is a lot of bad information, lies and distortions there too but you are smart enough to spot the fallacies. Newspapers are a dying breed. They are currently seeking a bailout from the government. Do you really think they are about to print the truth? Obama praises all the television news networks except Fox who he has waged war against. There must be a reason. He does not call them down on any specifics, just a general battle against them. If they lie, he should call them out on it but he doesn't.

Please, find the truth, it will set you free. Our biggest enemy is not China, Russia, Iran; no, our biggest enemy is a contingent of politicians in Washington DC .

OBAMA THE MUSLIM, NO DOUBT NOW

I had a friend send me this YouTube link and I was shocked but
not surprised by what I saw and heard. Millions have know for a long time Obama was and is a Muslim who puts the killers of American first. He is a liar, traitor to the American Constitution and MUST be removed in 2012.
THIS LEAVES NO DOUBT
OBAMA IS A MUSLIM
Watch and then try to deny he isn't a Muslim, as he brags about being one. Where is General Pershing when we need him.

Buying and Selling your Vote, Thanks Mary

Well, what everyone knew about Washington politics has come front and center with the vote buying for health care of the Democrat party. I can't remember a more blatant exercise of vote selling then what took place with Mary Sen. Landrieu who Voted for the Motion to Proceed.

Her vote was purchased for $100 million in added Medicaid money for her state which was included in the measure. This is plain vote buying no matter how you slice. Washington stinks of corruption and "We the People" need to vote not only Sen. Landrieu out but ALL the slime who are so arrogant to think they know "How to Take Care of US". We don't need babysitters in Washington to take care of us, we need them to get the hell out of our way and stop burying us in debt we can never pay.

Senator Lincoln, from Ark has this quote as to her vote, “My first loyalties are with the people of Arkansas,” she said. “Not insurance companies, the health care industry or my political party.”

Lets have a show of hands of those who believe her, lets see, 2 votes, that was hers and Pryor. Voting yes from a conservative state like Arkansas, is not good for getting re-elected.

At what point do we say enough and get rid of these arrogant bastards who want to control our lives and dictate to us what do every waking moment of our lives. Our country is slowly becoming a dictatorship and it must stop before the American people once again raise up and fight back. I am concerned that if the government doesn't stop taking our freedoms, the American people will be backed into a corner. When Americans can no longer endure government intrusion into their lives, it will turn ugly. If this happens, it will be the fault of the voter for voting in these people in. Your are voting to give up your freedom and many Americans are too stupid to know or just to lazy to be free.

The Cloward/Piven Strategy of Economic Recovery

Using borrowed money for a band-aid bailout of the economy should seem backwards to most people. However, it likely is a planned strategy to promote radical change. Those naively believing that President Obama is simply rewarding his far-left base, and will then move to the political center, must wise up.

The assumption that Obama will need the nation to prosper in order to protect the 2010 mid-term election incorrectly assumes that he esteems free market capitalism. He does not. Rather than win through superior ideas and policies, the Democrat plan for success in the mid-term elections is to win by destroying political opposition.

Obama adheres to the Saul Alinksy Rules for Radicals method of politics, which teaches the dark art of destroying political adversaries. However, that text reveals only one front in the radical left's war against America. The Cloward/Piven Strategy is another method employed by the radical Left to create and manage crisis. This strategy explains Rahm Emanuel's ominous statement, "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste."

The Cloward/Piven Strategy is named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. Their goal is to overthrow capitalism by overwhelming the government bureaucracy with entitlement demands. The created crisis provides the impetus to bring about radical political change.

According to Discover the Networks.org:

Rather than placating the poor with government hand-outs, wrote Cloward and Piven, activists should work to sabotage and destroy the welfare system; the collapse of the welfare state would ignite a political and financial crisis that would rock the nation... [Emphasis added.]

Making an already weak economy even worse is the intent of the Cloward/Piven Strategy. It is imperative that we view the American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan's spending on items like food stamps, jobless benefits, and health care through this end goal. This strategy explains why the Democrat plan to "stimulate" the economy involves massive deficit spending projects. It includes billions for ACORN and its subgroups such as SHOP and the Neighborhood Stabilization Program. Expanding the S-Chip Program through deficit spending in a supposed effort to "save the children" only makes a faltering economy worse.

If Congress were to allow a robust economy, parents would be able to provide for their children themselves by earning and keeping more of their own money. Democrats, quick to not waste a crisis, would consider that a lost opportunity.

The Cato Institute reports that the plan will harm a faltering economy, intentionally causing increased job losses leading to increased demands for the aforementioned programs. Even the jobs to be created are set apart to render social justice, not economic revival. Robert Reich believes new infrastructure jobs should not go to white construction workers. Meanwhile, workers at Microsoft, IBM, Texas Instruments, and the retail market find themselves experiencing the life of the welfare poor.

If highly educated and trained workers continue to lose jobs and business falters as a whole, where will these jobless workers go? Could this be construed as revolutionary social reorganization that puts the underachiever above the achiever? Where is the future economic strength when jobless professionals collect welfare and unemployment while dreaming of a minimum wage job? For whites, there's not even the hope of a good paying construction job.
Because these programs are financed with deficit spending, the effect of the Cloward/Piven Strategy becomes doubly destructive. Talk about a perfect storm! The Democrat stimulus plan is a mechanism whose goal is the destruction of the traditional American way of life. It is bitter irony that the American taxpayer will actually fund the destruction of his own ability to live according to the values of our Founding Documents. It is not alarmist to identify this situation as a coup d'etat.

As the flow of money from the top of the economy dries up, job losses and mortgage busts will mount exponentially. The Democrat stimulus plan provides for welfare expansion but not for a robust economy that creates high paying jobs. Is this what Obama means when he warns, "It's going to get worse before it gets better?" If we are not bailing out corporate America so they can regain profitability, we must conclude Obama is working toward another end goal. Recognizing these attack methods reveals the only logical response -- an unwavering wall of "No!"

This was written by Sherry Hackett, Buddy Hackett's widow........

President Obama:

Today I read of your administrations' plan to re-define September 11 as a National Service Day. Sir, it's time we had a talk.........During your campaign, Americans watched as you made mockery of our tradition of standing and crossing your heart when the Pledge of Allegiance was spoken.

You, out of four people on the stage, were the only one not honoring our tradition.

YES, "We noticed." During one of your many speeches, Americans heard you say that you intended to visit all 57 states. We all know that Islam, not America has 57 states.

YES, "We noticed." When President Bush leaned over at Ground Zero and gently placed a flower on the memorial, while you nonchalantly tossed your flower onto the pile without leaning over.

YES, "We noticed." Every time you apologized to other countries for America 's position on an issue , we have wondered why you don't share our pride in this great country. When you have heard foreign leaders berate our country and our beliefs, you have not defended us. In fact, you insulted the British Crown beyond belief

YES, "We noticed." When your pastor of 20 years, "God-damned America " and said that 9/11 was " America 's chickens coming home to roost" and you denied having heard recriminations of that nature, we wondered how that could be. You later disassociated yourself from that church and Pastor Wright because it was politically expedient to do so.

YES, "We noticed."When you announced that you would transform America , we wondered why. With all her faults, America is the greatest country on earth. Sir, KEEP THIS IN MIND, "if not for America and the people who built her, you wouldn't be sitting in the White House now." Prior to your election to the highest office in this Country, you were a senator from Illinois and from what we can glean from the records available, not a very remarkable one.

YES, "We noticed." All through your campaign and even now, you have surrounded yourself with individuals who are basically unqualified for the positions for which you appointed them. Worse than that, the majority of them are people who, like you, bear no special allegiance, respect, or affection for this country and her traditions.

YES, "We noticed."You are 9 months into your term and every morning millions of Americans wake up to a new horror heaped on us by you. You seek to saddle working Americans with a health care/insurance reform package that, along with cap and trade, will bankrupt this nation.

YES, "We noticed." We seek, by protesting, to let our representatives know that we are not in favor of these crippling expenditures and we are labeled "un-American", "racist", "mob". We wonder how we are supposed to let you know how frustrated we are. You have attempted to make our protests seem isolated and insignificant. Until your appointment, Americans had the right to speak out.

YES, "We noticed."On September 11, 2001 there were no Republicans or Democrats, only Americans. And we all grieved together and helped each other in whatever way we could. The attack on 9/11 was carried out because we are Americans And

YES, "We noticed." There were many of us who prayed that as a black president you could help unite this nation. In six months you have done more to destroy this nation than the attack on 9/11. You have failed us.

YES, "We noticed."September 11 is a day of remembrance for all Americans. You propose to make 9/11 a "National Service Day". While we know that you don't share our reverence for 9/11, we pray that history will report your proposal as what it is...a disgrace.

YES, "We noticed." You have made a mockery of our Constitution and the office that you hold. You have embarrassed and slighted us in foreign visits and policy.

YES, "We noticed.." We have noticed all these things. We will deal with you. When Americans come together again, it will be to vote against you and to remove you from office.

Take notice.

Thanks to all who send in these gems as I am having a hard time getting Conservative, Moderate, or any Americans who differ with what is going to write their opinions. Appears most citizens are willing to accept what is going on.

Remember Lee Iacocca??

Remember Lee Iacocca, the man who rescued Chrysler Corporation from its death throes? He's now 82 years old and has a new book, 'Where Have All The Leaders Gone ?'.

Lee Iacocca Says: 'Am I the only guy in this country who's fed up with what's happening? Where the hell is our outrage? We should be screaming bloody murder! We've got a gang of clueless bozos steering our ship of state right over a cliff, we've got corporate gangsters stealing us blind, and we can't even clean up after a hurricane much less build a hybrid car. But instead of getting mad, everyone sits around and nods their heads when the politicians say, 'Stay the course'

Stay the course? You've got to be kidding. This is America, not the damned, 'Titanic'. I'll give you a sound bite: 'Throw all the bums out!'

You might think I'm getting senile, that I've gone off my rocker, and maybe I have. But someone has to speak up. I hardly recognize this country anymore.

The most famous business leaders are not the innovators but the guys in handcuffs. While we're fiddling in Iraq , the Middle East is burning and nobody seems to know what to do. And the press is waving 'pom-poms' instead of asking hard questions. That's not the promise of the ' America ' my parents and yours traveled across the ocean for. I've had enough. How about you?

I'll go a step further. You can't call yourself a patriot if you're not outraged. This is a fight I'm ready and willing to have. The Biggest 'C' is Crisis ! (Iacocca elaborates on nine C's of leadership, with crisis being the first.)

Leaders are made, not born. Leadership is forged in times of crisis. It's easy to sit there with your feet up on the desk and talk theory. Or send someone else's kids off to war when you've never seen a battlefield yourself. It's another thing to lead when your world comes tumbling down.

On September 11, 2001, we needed a strong leader more than any other time in our history. We needed a steady hand to guide us out of the ashes. A hell of a mess, so here's where we stand.

We're immersed in a bloody war with no plan for winning and no plan for leaving. We're running the biggest deficit in the history of the country.

We're losing the manufacturing edge to Asia , while our once-great companies are getting slaughtered by health care costs.

Gas prices are skyrocketing, and nobody in power has a coherent energy policy. Our schools are in trouble.

Our borders are like sieves.

The middle class is being squeezed every which way.

These are times that cry out for leadership. But when you look around, you've got to ask:

'Where have all the leaders gone?'

Where are the curious, creative communicators?

Where are the people of character, courage, conviction, omnipotence, and common sense?

I may be a sucker for alliteration, but I think you get the point. Name me a leader who has a better idea for homeland security than making us take off our shoes in airports and throw away our shampoo?

We've spent billions of dollars building a huge new bureaucracy, and all we know how to do is react to things that have already happened. Name me one leader who emerged from the crisis of Hurricane Katrina. Congress has yet to spend a single day evaluating the response to the hurricane or demanding accountability for the decisions that were made in the crucial hours after the storm.

Everyone's hunkering down, fingers crossed, hoping it doesn't happen again. Now, that's just crazy. Storms happen. Deal with it. Make a plan. Figure out what you're going to do the next time.

Name me an industry leader who is thinking creatively about how we can restore our competitive edge in manufacturing. Who would have believed that there could ever be a time when 'The Big Three' referred to Japanese car companies? How did this happen, and more important, what are we going to do about it?

Name me a government leader who can articulate a plan for paying down the debit, or solving the energy crisis, or managing the health care problem with out a TELEPROMPTER. The silence is deafening. But these are the crises that are eating away at our country and milking the middle class dry.

I have news for the gang in Congress. We didn't elect you to sit on your asses and do nothing and remain silent while our democracy is being hijacked and our greatness is being replaced with mediocrity. What is everybody so afraid of? That some bonehead on CNN will call them a name? Give me a break. Why don't you guys show some spine for a change? Had Enough? Hey, I'm not trying to be the voice of gloom and doom here. I'm trying to light a fire. I'm speaking out because I have hope - I believe in America .

In my lifetime, I've had the privilege of living through some of America 's greatest moments. I've also experienced some of our worst crises: The 'Great Depression,' 'World War II,' the 'Korean War,' the 'Kennedy Assassination,' the 'Vietnam War,' the 1970's oil crisis, and the struggles of recent years culminating with 9/11.

If I've learned one thing, it's this: 'You don't get anywhere by standing on the sidelines waiting for somebody else to take action. Whether it's building a better car or building a better future for our children, we all have a role to play. That's the challenge I'm raising in this book. It's a "Call to Action" for people who, like me, believe in America '.

It's not too late, but it's getting pretty close. So let's shake off the crap and go to work. Let's tell'em all we've had 'enough.' Make your own contribution by sending this to everyone you know and care about... It's our country, folks, and it's our future. Our future is at stake!!

The Staff: No one could say it better, thank you Lee for speaking up for America. To bad our elected leaders don't have the courage to speak up.

Truth Hurts Doesn't it

OBAMA said, in his Cairo speech: "I know, too, that Islam has always been a part of America's story.

Dear Mr. Obama:

Were those Muslims that were in America when the Pilgrims first landed?
Funny, I thought they were Native American Indians.
Were those Muslims that celebrated the first Thanksgiving day?
Sorry again, those were Pilgrims and Native American Indians.
Can you show me one Muslim signature on the United States Constitution? Declaration of Independence? Bill of Rights? Didn't think so. Did Muslims fight for this country's freedom from England? No. Did Muslims fight during the Civil War to free the slaves in America? No, they did not. In fact, Muslims to this day are still the largest traffickers in human slavery. Your own 'half brother' a devout Muslim still advocates slavery himself, even though Muslims of Arabic descent refer to black Muslims as "pug nosed slaves."
Says a lot of what the Muslim world really thinks of your family's "rich Islamic heritage" doesn't it Mr.Obama? Where were Muslims during the Civil Rights era of this country? Not present. There are no pictures or media accounts of Muslims walking side by side with Martin Luther King Jr.. or helping to advance the cause of Civil Rights.
Where were Muslims during this country's Woman's Suffrage era? Again, not present. In fact, devout Muslims demand that women are subservient to men in the Islamic culture. So much so that often they are beaten for not wearing the 'hajib' or for talking to a man that is not a direct family member or their husband. Yep, the Muslims are all for women's rights aren't they?
Where were Muslims during World War II? They were aligned with Adolf Hitler. The Muslim grand mufti himself met with Adolf Hitler, reviewed the troops and accepted support from the Nazi's in killing Jews. Finally Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th, 2001? If they weren't flying planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon or a field in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people on our own soil, they were rejoicing in the middle east.
No one can dispute the pictures shown from all parts of the Muslim world celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other news networks that day. Strangely, the very "moderate" Muslims who's asses you bent over backwards to kiss in Cairo, Egypt on June 4th were stone cold silent post 9-11.
To many Americans, their silence has meant approval for the acts of that day. And THAT, Obama, is the "rich heritage" Muslims have here in America. And now we can add November 5, 2009-- the slaughter of American soldiers at Fort Hood by a Muslim major who is a doctor and a psychiatrist who was supposed to be counselling soldiers returning from battle in Iraq and Afghanistan.
That, Obama is "Muslim heritage" in America.
The Staff: One of best statements I have read. Muslim president who is intent on destroying America as we have known it.

A Republican That needs to be Voted Out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Subject:Repeal the G.I. Bill
Rep. Joseph Pitts
November 19, 2009
I support the repeal or curtailing of the G.I. Bill. Although there's a sense in which I admire our veterans' bravery, it is obvious to me that most veterans are not "college material," intellectually speaking. Universities, however, feel pressured to accept their otherwise substandard credentials because to do so is to tap into a reliable revenue stream from the federal government.
A similar situation exists with affirmative action policies, although the justifications are different, and, in my view, more robust. The federal government's subsidizing of the college education of otherwise unqualified military veterans dilutes the meaning and value of a college education. I do not mean to be disrespectful, but I do not share this awed reverence for our veterans. Loyalty in itself is no virtue, killing is killing, and human beings in uniforms are still human beings.
I will not be prevented from questioning the wisdom of certain policies such as this one by people playing the "military service card" and I hope you will not be either.

Conservative, Moderates, Blue Dog Democrats - Work Together Now for Us

Now after the health care vote I hear some talking heads stating the GOP may be tearing itself apart over the vote. Not happening and won't as moderates and conservatives want a bill that REALLY helps health care, not inflates the government control over its citizens. Many things can be done to lower health care without the big take over they are pushing. The problem with Washington and the way they work is, they are JUST TO DAMN LAZY to find the correct answers to the problem. By no means am I qualified to tell anyone how to make things better but wouldn't it help if health insurance could be purchased across state lines? Something as simple as allowing for groups to purchase insurance (engineering companies, sign makers, contractors, etc) that would number in the millions which would increase purchasing power to where the groups could negotiate much lower rates.

These groups would also be able to purchase drugs far lower after negotiating with drug makers to reduce what they charge us. Right now Americans pay much more then Canadians pay for their drugs because they have purchasing power we don't.

The conservative right and moderates both believe the government should get out of our pockets and not try to run our lives from birth to death. Our constitution needs to be read by everyone again as so many of us have forgotten what our freedoms are before the liberal left shreds it. I'm sure they (left) believe what they are doing is correct but much of it is directly against what our founding father wrote and died for so many years ago.

Many 'Blue Dog" democrats are being pressed to pass a "BAD HEALTH CARE BILL" instead of fixing some items now and give the credit to Obama if it will help. We have dealt with this before and can fix this problem over the next year or two. There is NO WAY it should be forced down our throat. The Hard Right, Moderate Right and Blue Dog Democrats can put a bill together and if the far left wants to join in, please do so.

If this congress doesn't listen to "We the People" now, they will not get a second chance. 2010 is coming and We the People are watching.

GOP Right, GOP Moderates, and Blue Dog Democrats can control what happens. These groups need to step up and WORK together now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What Politicans Never Learned

These are possibly the 5 best sentences on politics you'll ever read. They should be in every book in every school room in every city in every state in our great Union. Our educators should make a lesson plan on these statements and instill these words in the minds of all students.
1*"You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity
2* What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3*The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4*When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.
5*You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it..."

The Joke is On US

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Jobs are being created, or at least saved, thanks to President Obama's stimulus spending, and the administration seems pleased to take credit for 650,000 state and local positions after burning through $150 billion.

That's it? That's the best we can get for $150 billion? I'm starting to understand the stimulus naysayers because when you do the math, it's costing an average of more than $230,000 to save a job with this program.

I seriously doubt we're creating six-figure income jobs. Granted, the investment is intended to create long-term employment opportunities, so the cost per job should diminish over time if the companies keep all the stimulus-related positions.

There should also be a compounding impact as companies in the supply chain boost employment to keep up with potential growth by the recipients of government grants.

At least that's the hope. For now, all we know is that the government is spending more than four times the median household income of $52,029 to create or save jobs.

The Obama camp is quick to point out that this initial job assessment covers only a small part of the $787 billion in planned spending. The White House puts the stimulus-job tally at 1 million when other spending is factored in and says it expects to see 3.5 million jobs credited to the stimulus package when all is said and done, according to a report on CNN.

Looking at the data available so far, the number of positions created or saved directly by federal contracts is only about 30,000 to date, according to the official government stimulus Web site, Recovery.gov.

So the rest of the stimulus jobs must be coming from the trickle down impact of spending at the state and local level.

More details on stimulus jobs are expected to be released this afternoon.

So far, it's a pretty lame PR effort by the Obama camp. If they are going to defend this spending program against increasing attacks by Republicans who think the money is being wasted, then they'll need to find some better examples of success.

Sifting through the reams of individual reports on the stimulus tracking Web site, you'll find some big amounts going to individual companies in various states that didn't help with employment at all.

According to the fancy map on the Recovery.gov Web site, $165.9 million went to Lockheed Martin(LMT Quote) in Colorado that didn't save or create any jobs, $57.6 million went to Northrop Grumman (NOC Quote)in California that didn't create or save any jobs and $373.6 million went to Sanofi-Aventis (SNY Quote)in Pennsylvania that didn't save or create any jobs.
That said, there are many smaller awards such as $70,808 that went to the Housing Authority in the city of Robert Lee , Texas and is credited with 5 jobs.

I'm hoping that the data on the government Web site is simply incomplete because my unscientific review produced very disappointing results.

Maybe the White House needs to create a few jobs itself to get a better tracking system.

"People Should Not be Afraid of Their Government, Government Should be Afraid of The People"

How true this statement is. The American people have forgotten how true the statement above is and because we have a select, few have taken over our government. They have come to believe they know what we want, know what is best for us, and how to spend our money we work for better they we do. The arrogance of these people is shown almost every time to open their collective mouths.

I don't believe it is limited to just congress, remember Clinton making some statement along the lines that they knew how to spend our money better then we did. You know, before Clinton came along and said that, we had been spending our hard earned money for years without any problem except GOVERNMENT trying to take more and more of it.

Government is the problem and has been for many years. Many in Washington want to take care of us from birth to death. The latter will be decided by some committee that will decide if you are worth the money to be kept alive. Now they want to take over Health Care so they can control more of our freedoms and they will decide who get the best care. Do you really want the same people who can't run Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, US Postal Service handling our health care?

I know a lady who had Ovarian Cancer and if the government was running her health care she would have died. I say this because the health care she had, from the time is was diagnosed to surgery was SIX DAYS. Yes six days, saved her life. The doctors stated that in four months it went from an acorn size to softball. Does anyone really think a government run health care system would have saved her life? Do you want to take a chance with the same people who run SS, Medicare, Medicaid and the Post Office plus others.

Everyone needs to remember "WE THE PEOPLE" run the government and not "Temporary Workers" we placed there. If we ever want to take back control of our country and spending, 2010 is a very important year in history. We either once again take back control and make our Government afraid of "WE THE PEOPLE" or surrender our freedoms to a government who has lost touch with the people and display their arrogance daily.
