Mexico's foreign minister on Friday slammed a bill approved a day earlier by U.S. Republican lawmakers that would tighten immigration policy and restart work on a southwestern border wall, accusing backers of peddling racism against Mexicans.
The U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday approved (THANK GOD) the legislation, which would require asylum seekers to apply for U.S. protection outside the country. It would also resume work on the wall promoted by former president Donald Trump.
Democrats have indicated they could block the bill in the U.S. Senate, which they control.
The package, intended to stop migrants and drugs crossing the border with Mexico, passed as COVID-19-era U.S. border restrictions were expiring.
Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard (IS HE F--ING BLIND) said migrant flows in Mexico were coming down, after record detentions on the border in the run-up to the elimination on Thursday night of the U.S. policy known as Title 42.
He panned the U.S. House bill, saying it and other Republican-led efforts, such as pinning blame on Mexico for the supply of deadly opioid fentanyl, were "unacceptable" and would spark a "crisis" between the two close trade partners.
Speaking at a press conference with President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, Ebrard said the legislation was aimed at scoring political points. Mexico and the U.S. both hold presidential elections in 2024, and Lopez Obrador (MAY BE FUNDED BY DRUG CARTELS) again urged voters in the U.S. not to vote for Republicans who insult Mexicans.
"What's the cement behind these ideas, the people who believe in this?" Ebrard said. "Racism against Mexicans, and against all Spanish-speakers in general."
The president and Ebrard both singled out U.S. Republican Senator John Kennedy, who during a Senate hearing this week said: "Without the people of America, Mexico, figuratively speaking, would be eating cat food out of a can and living in a tent".
Kennedy made his remarks as he criticized U.S. and Mexican efforts to crack down on Mexico's drug cartels.
The Staff: Mexico allows this crap to happen as these people come through Mexico and the government helps them get here. America should close the boarder, impose high tariffs, take out the drug makers locations if Mexico won't. Stop ALL aid to countries whose people come here as we have been giving millions for years to help and it make no difference. Stop the transfer of funds by Western Union and other such service going to Mexico.

President Biden's administration ignored a congressional subpoena for documents relating to the botched U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan for the third time on Tuesday.
Rep. Mike McCaul, R-Texas, filed the subpoena in his role as chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Secretary of State Tony Blinken blew past the original deadline to supply the documents in March, then again in April when McCaul pushed back the deadline. McCaul set his latest line in the sand at May 1, and Blinken again refused to provide the documents.
McCaul's subpoena seeks a dissent cable from the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, a document that would have contained any concerns officials had about Biden's withdrawal plans.
Rather than comply with the subpoena, the State Department offered to give McCaul and his committee a briefing on the documents contents. McCaul accepted the briefing in April but clarified that it did not constitute complying with the subpoena.
The Staff: If this continues, all Americans need to raise one finger if ever given a "subpoena" as the president and his circle of clowns are allowed to do so. As some say, America has"Elites" who run us now. Get us to it America.
Hunter Biden ignored questions Monday concerning his father, President Joe Biden, refusing to acknowledge his unclaimed 4-year-old granddaughter born out of wedlock to ex-stripper Lunden Roberts.
As he left a Batesville, Arkansas, courthouse for a lunch break amid a child support hearing for his daughter, Navy Joan Roberts, Fox News Digital asked Hunter whether his father was doing a disservice by not recognizing his grandchild, but Hunter did not give an answer.
