With the U.S. closing in on President Joe Biden‘s goal of injecting 100 million coronavirus vaccinations weeks ahead of his target date, the White House said the nation is now in position to help supply neighbors Canada and Mexico with millions of shots.

The Biden administration on Thursday revealed the outlines of a plan to “loan” a limited number of vaccines to Canada and Mexico as the president announced the U.S. is on the cusp of meeting his 100-day injection goal “way ahead of schedule.”

That didn’t sit well with one Republican congressman, who said the U.S. has a long way to go to take care of its own citizens before it sends help to others.

“It is absolutely unconscionable that the Biden Administration is willing to play games with the lives of Americans by sending doses to Mexico and Canada, while only 16% of adult Americans are vaccinated,” said Rep. Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey in a statement.

“These vaccines have been bought and paid for thanks to the American taxpayer; they deserve to receive their vaccines first before doses are shipped to foreign countries,” he added. “I urge President Biden to reconsider this decision and focus first on immunizing the people within our borders who desperately need the protection these vaccines offer. America needs it.”

Biden said the U.S. is on pace to have enough of the three currently authorized vaccines to cover the entire adult population just 10 weeks from now.

Ahead of Biden’s remarks, the White House said it was finalizing plans to send a combined 4 million doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine to Mexico and Canada in its first export of shots. Press secretary Jen Psaki said the details of the “loan” were still being worked out, but 2.5 million doses would go to Mexico and 1.5 million would be sent to Canada.

“Our first priority remains vaccinating the U.S. population,” Psaki said.

But she added that “ensuring our neighbors can contain the virus is a mission critical step, is mission critical to ending the pandemic.”

The AstraZeneca vaccine has not yet been authorized for use in the U.S. but has been by the World Health Organization. Tens of millions of doses have been stockpiled in the U.S., waiting for emergency use authorization, and that has sparked an international outcry that lifesaving vaccine is being withheld when it could be used elsewhere. The White House said just 7 million of the AstraZeneca doses are ready for shipment.

The initial run of doses manufactured in the U.S. are owned by the federal government under the terms of agreements reached with drugmakers, and the Biden administration has faced calls from allies across the globe to release the AstraZeneca shots for immediate use. Biden has also fielded direct requests from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to buy vaccines produced in the United States.

Global public health advocates say wealthy nations like the U.S. need to do far more to help stem the spread of the pandemic. The World Health Organization on Thursday issued a report that fewer than 7 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Africa thus far. That’s the equivalent of what the U.S. administers in a matter of days.

Biden did move to have the U.S. contribute financially to the United Nations- and World Health Organization-backed COVAX alliance, which will share vaccine with more than 90 lower- and middle-income nations, but the U.S. has yet to commit to sharing any doses.

The U.S. is injecting an average of about 2.2 million doses each day — and the pace is likely to dramatically rise later this month in conjunction with an expected surge in supply of the vaccines.

Typical Liberal Trash, Breaks the Law without Penalty

A Michigan judge ruled last week Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson (D) broke state law when she unilaterally issued rules related to absentee balloting, legitimizing a key claim made by the Trump campaign in its legal challenges to the 2020 election.

Benson issued several unilateral orders during the 2020 election including sending absentee ballot applications to all registered voters. She also issued “guidance” on how to evaluate absentee ballots, a move Michigan Court of Claims Chief Judge Christopher Murray held violated the state’s Administrative Procedures Act.

In the guidance, Benson said “slight similarities” in signatures on absentee ballots should lead a counter to decide “in favor of finding that the voter’s signature was valid.”

Murray ruled Benson violated the law “because the guidance issued by the Secretary of State on October 6, 2020, with respect to signature matching standards was issued in violation of the Administrative Procedures Act (APA).”

“I’m glad the court sees Secretary of State Benson’s attempts at lawmaking for what they are — clear violations of her authority,” Michigan state Rep. Matt Hall (R) said in a statement.

“If she wants to make changes like these, she needs to work with the Legislature or properly promulgate them through the laws we have on the books — in this case the Administrative Procedures Act,” he continued.

Murray’s ruling came after Allegan County Clerk Bob Genetski sued Benson and state Director of Elections Jonathan Brater over Benson’s order which Hall described as a “mandatory directive requiring local election officials to apply a presumption of validity to all signatures on absent voter ballots.”

According to the suit, Genetski argued “the presumption contained in the guidance issued by defendant Benson will allow invalid votes to be counted,” but Genetski did not allege “that this guidance caused him to accept a signature that he believed was invalid.”

The court’s opinion concluded:

…nowhere in this state’s election law has the Legislature indicated that signatures are to be presumed valid, nor did the Legislature require that signatures are to be accepted so long as there are any redeeming qualities in the application or return envelope as compared with the signature on file. Policy determinations like the one at issue — which places the thumb on the scale in favor of a signature’s validity — should be made pursuant to properly promulgated rules under the APA or by the Legislature.

Like other progressive secretaries of state, Benson put an aggressive emphasis on voting by absentee ballot in the name of safety amid the Chinese coronavirus pandemic.

Over 3.1 million Michigan voters cast an absentee ballot out of a possible 7.7 million voters, WWMT News reported.

In May 2020, Benson used $4.5 million in funds from the CARES Act — the original coronavirus stimulus — to send absentee ballot applications to all voters, according to Breitbart News. How the "F" do you get away with using Covid-19 dollars for election fraud? Forgot, liberal trash.

“By mailing applications, we have ensured that no Michigander has to choose between their health and their right to vote,” Benson said according to NBC 25.

“Voting by mail is easy, convenient, safe, and secure, and every voter in Michigan has the right to do it,” she continued.

Hall noted, “The Legislature is an equal branch of government charged with crafting laws. This is not the role of the Secretary of State, and there is a clear process that must be respected.”

Signature validation rules created without the approval of a legislature was one of the issues the Trump campaign and Republicans claimed was done illegally in the 2020 election.

Trump’s campaign and Republicans argued in cases nationwide that Article II of the Constitution requires state legislatures to make the rules governing presidential elections, and state election officials and courts lack the authority to change those rules.

Murray’s ruling undercuts the Democrat narrative that Republican legal challenges to 2020 election procedures were without merit and had therefore all been rejected by the courts. The original suit was filed October 6, 2020 — prior to the presidential election — but was not decided until March 9, 2021.

The case is Genetski v. Benson, No. 20-216-MM in the Court of Claims for the State of Michigan.

On Sunday’s airing of “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi outrageously blamed former President Trump for the exploding border crisis, claiming that President Biden had inherited a “broken system.”

“This is a humanitarian challenge to all of us,” she declared. “What the administration has inherited is a broken system at the border and they are working to correct that.”

On Saturday, Biden’s Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced an all-out effort by the government and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to house unaccompanied illegal immigrant children as their numbers skyrocket on the border. The situation seems to be spiraling out of control and now Democrats are trying to point fingers at Trump to deflect from Biden’s handling of the emergency.

Pelosi stated that there are approximately 600 to 700 additional children who are approaching the border. She stated that this is why Biden issued a directive to send FEMA to handle the transfer of the children from border care facilities to safe homes.

“I’m so pleased that the president, as a temporary measure, has sent FEMA (Yep, she takes OUR money is very happy doing so) to the border in order to help facilitate the children going from one — the 72-hour issue into where they are cared for as they are transferred into family homes or homes that are safe for them to be,” Pelosi stated.

“So this, again, is a transition for what was wrong before to what is right,” she proclaimed.

Pelosi gushed over the U.S. Refugee Resettlement Program calling it the world’s gold standard. Then she referenced Trump’s alleged “cruel” approach towards illegal immigrants.

Since Trump has left office and Biden has reversed most of his immigration policies, including wall construction, illegal immigration has exploded and detention facilities are now overflowing. The Daily Mail is reporting that those facilities are now over capacity by nearly 700 percent.

Pelosi was very careful in her wording and referred to the crisis on the border as a “challenge.”

She even invoked climate change (she could help by not emitting so much hot air) as a justification in her statement. “Some come from families whose livelihoods have been destroyed by climate change,” Pelosi posited. (Blame America again, what a bitch) 

“These people were leaving because of the drought,” she claimed. “They couldn’t farm and they were seeking other ways to survive.”

The number of unaccompanied minors crossing the border has reportedly tripled over the last few weeks. It’s being reported that in February alone, there were more than 100,000 illegal alien encounters on the border. More than 29,000 unaccompanied children crossed the border in Fiscal Year 2021 through February.

Former President Trump slammed Biden and his handling of the border crisis, stating that the country is being “destroyed” by the influx of illegal aliens over the southern U.S. border. Trump said on Tuesday that the border during his administration was “in great shape” and was “stronger, safer and more secure than ever before.” He also claimed that the border wall “would have easily” been finished if it weren’t for the Democrats getting in the way.

“We ended Catch-and-Release, shut down asylum fraud and crippled the vicious smugglers, drug dealers and human traffickers,” Trump said in a statement released last week. “The Wall, despite horrendous Democratic delays, would have easily been finished by now, and is working magnificently.”

Trump added: “Our country is being destroyed at the Southern border, a terrible thing to see!”

Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) placed the blame for the border crisis squarely on Biden. He said the president’s policies are inviting illegal immigrants to come here by the droves braving the dangerous and often deadly trek across the southern border.​​ (To be fair, Biden has no idea what his policy is unless told.)

“Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace asked Cassidy whether Biden is responsible for the drastic jump in illegal immigrants and Cassidy said, “Empirically it is entirely. You can’t help but notice that the administration changes and there is a surge.”

“And so when people think they can get in,” Cassidy claimed, “they begin sending their unaccompanied child on a train ride across Mexico where she may be kidnapped and trafficked, on the hope that they’re going to be waved through at the border,” Cassidy stated.

He indicated that the government and FEMA believe the crisis will get worse: “They’re sending FEMA for reinforcements — not for today, not for tomorrow, but for three weeks from now,” Cassidy said.

If and when that time comes and I believe sooner than we want, violence will occur far worse than Portland or any of the other communists cities that your party helped cause.

I 22 you will no longer have congress to control and the spending stops. Remember, congress by law allows the government to waste "We the People" funds, not the king or the Queen.

It is nothing but a PORK BILL to pay off your friends, unions, cities, pension funds that have been mismanaged and so many other things NO ONE will talk about and that means Republicans also. People say there are too many men in congress but I disagree as no Republican men are there as no one there had the BALLS to tell the truth to "WE THE PEOPLE" how or money was being spent for covid-19 (RED CHINA VIRUS). 

I keep hearing 1 Trillion went other places and not helping the American people as we were told. I have also heard there was still 1 Trillion from the last no not spent. We should welcome the New COVID-19 Carriers

I would blame this on the Mental Midget but Joe has no idea what is happening as he is only a puppet with a hand shoved up his ass and working his mouth. It is sad to see this happening and worse that his wife cares more about being the First Lady than her husbands health. They need to remove the Dr. from her was she is just as much a joke as mental Joe.

We should move all the illegals to CA, IL, and DC as they seem to love the new Democratic voters. Nancy the bitch has a big house and should take a few hundred, they can camp on the yard and hell they can cut her grass, wash her dishes.

The new Covid-19 carriers are not being detained after testing positive but released into the country and the mental midget has no idea about that as it would be above his capacity to understand what was being said to him.

Can you image officials are asking for help at the border as the covid carriers are overwhelming officers there. One TRILLION FOR EVERYTHING EXCEPT COVID1-9 (CHINESE VIRUS)

President Joe Biden’s blue state bailout, which he’s expected to sign Friday, is a monstrosity — so large it leaves America’s states with a surplus after one of the costliest pandemics in history.

The numbers boggle the mind: $195 billion goes to states with no strings attached (except, of course, to ban tax cuts). There’s $130 billion for reopening K-12 schools with no requirement they reopen. Another $25 billion for public housing and $20 billion for public transit. All in, America’s states and cities are seeing a direct windfall north of half a trillion dollars.

State and local governments already collected more dollars in 2020 than at any time in American history. With federal aid, states ended the year in a surplus. In 21 states, tax receipts actually grew year-on-year. AP reports that “California is again swimming in money,” not that that has stopped Gov. Gavin Newsom crying poverty.

Some states have seen red, especially those dependent on energy and mining revenue, like Alaska. Declining tourism hurt Florida’s budget to the tune of $2 billion, but the state’s low unemployment means it will miss out on $2 billion in Biden bucks it would otherwise get if aid were simply allocated based on population. Nine of the ten states with the lowest unemployment in America are led by Republican governors, and they are the ones punished under the relief bill’s formula.

The biggest winners will be states who locked down the hardest during the pandemic. Their “Faucian bargain” has now paid off. Never mind that vaccine rates have been abysmal in states like California, which at one point ranked last in the country for getting jabs in arms, or that COVID-19 has blown past masks and mandates to infect millions in the Golden State.

States with the largest pension burdens, like Illinois and New Jersey, will also benefit from Biden’s bailout. Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s latest budget conspicuously avoids lifting a finger to fix his state’s long-term insolvency. And papering over New York’s fiscal shortfalls still hasn’t stopped Gov. Andrew Cuomo from toying with higher taxes to soak the rich.

America’s COVID relief spending will soon total $5.5 trillion in less than 12 months. By comparison, World War II cost the U.S. government roughly $4.8 trillion in 2021 dollars.

Nearly a third of Coronavirus Relief Funds before this bill remain unspent. These dollars were meant to crush the virus and safely reopen the economy; now, just one percent of Biden’s relief bill will go toward vaccination. Federal aid from this bill alone will be 116 times states’ actual decline in revenue. Now that federal debt is larger than the entire economy, why are we going for broke?

With Washington jolting the economy back to life, even to the point of risking inflationary damage, there is no good reason for governors or mayors to be raising taxes or hiking fares. America’s leaders should be encouraging sustainable prosperity with pro-growth policies rather than doubling down on past failures, bailout or not. Stifling America’s recovery now or punishing states trying to safely reopen their economy would not only be unnecessary, but practically vindictive.

Biden’s bailout is a two trillion-dollar exercise in missing the point: that it’s time we got on with saving lives, ending this pandemic, and living our life.
