Letter of Outrage MUST READ!!!

This letter was sent to the Wall Street Journal on August 8, 2008 by Alisa Wilson, Ph.D. Of Beverly Hills , CA . in response to the Wall Street Journal article titled "Where's The Outrage?" that appeared July 31,2008.

Really. I can tell you where the outrage is. The outrage is here, in this middle-aged, well-educated, upper-middle class woman. The outrage is here, but I have no representation, no voice. The outrage is here, but no one is listening for who am I? I am not a billionaire like George Soros that can fund an entire political movement. I am not a celebrity like Barbra Streisand that can garner the attention of the press to promote political candidates. I am not a film maker like Michael Moore or Al Gore that can deliver misleading movies to the public.

The outrage is here, but unlike those with money or power, I don't know how to reach those who feel similarly in order to effect change. Why am I outraged?

I am outraged that my country, the United States of America , is in a state of moral and ethical decline. There is no right or wrong anymore, just what's fair. Is it fair that millions of Americans who overreached and borrowed more than they could afford are now being bailed out by the government and lending institutions to stave off foreclosure? Why shouldn't these people be made to pay the consequences for their poor judgment?

When my husband and I purchased our home, we were careful to purchase only what we could afford. Believe me, there are much larger, much nicer homes that I would have loved to have purchased. But, taking responsibility for my behavior and my life, I went with the house that we could afford, not the house that we could not afford. The notion of personal responsibility has all but died in our country.

I am outraged, that the country that welcomed my mother as an immigrant from Hitler's Nazi Germany and required that she and her family learn English now allows itself to be overrun with illegal immigrants and worse, caters to those illegal immigrants.

I am outraged that my hard-earned taxes help support those here illegally. That the Los Angeles Public School District is in such disarray that I felt it incumbent to send my child to private school, that every time I go to the ATM, I see "do you want to continue in English or Spanish?", that every time I call the bank, the phone company , or similar business, I hear "press 1 for English or press 2 for Spanish". WHY? This is America , our common language is English and attempts to promote a bi- or multi-lingual society are sure to fail and to marginalize those who cannot communicate in English.

I am outraged at our country's weakness in the face of new threats on American traditions from Muslims. Just this week, Tyson's Food negotiated with its union to permit Muslims to have Eid-al-Fitr as a holiday instead of Labor Day. What am I missing? Yes, there is a large Somali Muslim population working at the Tyson's plant in Tennessee . Tennessee , last I checked, is still part of the United States . If Muslims want to live and work here they should be required to live and work by our American Laws and not impose their will on our long history.

In the same week, Random House announced that they had indefinitely delayed the publication of The Jewel of Medina, by Sherry Jones, a book about the life of Mohammed's wife, Aisha due to fear of retribution and violence by Muslims. When did we become a nation ruled by fear of what other immigrant groups want? It makes me so sad to see large corporations cave rather than stand proudly on the principles that built this country.

I am outraged because appeasement has never worked as a political policy, yet appeasing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is exactly what we are trying to do. An excellent article, also published recently in the Wall Street Journal, went through over 20 years of history and why talking with Iran has been and will continue to be ineffective. Yet talk, with a madman no less, we continue to do. Have we so lost our moral compass and its ability to detect evil that we will not go in and destroy Iran's nuclear program? Would we rather wait for another Holocaust for the Jews - one which they would be unlikely to survive? When does it end?

As if the battle for good and evil isn't enough, now come the Environmentalists who are so afraid of global warming that they want to put a Bag tax on grocery bags in California; to eliminate Mylar balloons; to establish something as insidious as the recycle police in San Francisco. I do my share for the environment: I recycle, I use water wisely, I installed an energy efficient air conditioning unit But when and where does the lunacy stop? Ahmadinejad wants to wipe Israel off the map, the California economy is being overrun by illegal immigrants, and the United States of America no longer knows right from wrong, good from evil.. So what does California do? Tax grocery bags.

So, America , although I can tell you where the outrage is, this one middle-aged, well-educated, upper middle class woman is powerless to do anything about it. I don't even feel like my vote counts because I am so outnumbered by those who disagree with me.

Jimmy Carter, you are the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You threw the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home, and then lacked the spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our people hostage. You're the runner-in-chief.

Bill Clinton, you played ring around the Lewinsky while the terrorists were at war with us. You got us into a fight with them in Somalia and then you ran from it. Your weak-willed responses to the USS Cole and the First Trade Center Bombing & Our Embassy Bombings emboldened the killers. Each time you failed to respond adequately, they grew bolder, until 9/11/2001.

John Kerry, dishonesty is your most prominent attribute. You lied about American Soldiers in Vietnam . Your military service, like your life, is more fiction than fact. You have accused our military of terrorizing women and children in Iraq . You called Iraq the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time, the same words you used to describe Vietnam . You are a fake. You want to run from Iraq and abandon the Iraqis to murderers just as you did to the Vietnamese. Iraq, like Vietnam, is another war that you were for, before you were against it.

John Murtha, you said our military was broken. You said we can't win militarily in Iraq . You accused United States Marines of cold-blooded murder without proof and said we should redeploy to Okinawa -- Okinawa , John? And the Democrats call you their military expert! Are you sure you didn't suffer a traumatic brain injury while you were off building your war hero resume? You're a sad, pitiful, corrupt and washed up politician. You're not a Marine, sir. You're a phony and a disgrace. Run away, John.

Dick Durbin, you accused our Soldiers at Guantanamo of being Nazis, tenders of Soviet style gulags and as bad as the regime of Pol Pot, who murdered two million of his own people after your party abandoned Southeast Asia to the Communists. Now you want to abandon the Iraqis to the same fate. History was not a good teacher for you, was it? Lord help us! See Dick run.

Ted Kennedy, for days on end you held poster-sized pictures from Abu Ghraib in front of any available television camera. Al Jazeera quoted you saying that Iraqi's torture chambers were open under new management. Did you see the news, Teddy? The Islamic Nazis demonstrated another beheading for you. If you truly supported our troops, you would show the world poster-sized pictures of that atrocity and demand the annihilation of it. Your legislation stripping support from the South Vietnamese led to a communist victory there. You're a bloated, drunken fool bent on repeating the same historical blunder that turned freedom-seeking people over to homicidal, genocidal maniacs. To paraphrase John Murtha, all while sitting on your wide, gin-soaked rear-end in Washington.

Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Carl Levine, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton, Pat Leahy, Barack Obama, Chuck Schumer, the Hollywood Leftist morons, et al, ad nauseam: Every time you stand in front of television cameras and broadcast to the Islamic Nazis that we went to war because our President lied, that the war is wrong and our Soldiers are torturers, that we should leave Iraq, you give the Islamic butchers - the same ones that tortured and mutilated American Soldiers - cause to think that we will run away again, and all they have to do is hang on a little longer. It is inevitable that we, the infidels, will have to defeat the Islamic jihadists. Better to do it now on their turf, than later on ours after they have gained both strength and momentum.American news media, the New York Times particularly: Each time you publish stories about national defense secrets and our intelligence gathering methods, you become one united with the sub-human pieces of camel dung that torture and mutilate the bodies of American Soldiers. You can't strike up the courage to publish cartoons, but you can help Al Qaeda destroy my country. Actually, you are more dangerous to us than Al Qaeda is. Think about that each time you face Mecca to admire your Pulitzer.You are America's 'AXIS OF IDIOTS.' Your Collective Stupidity will destroy us. Self-serving politics and terrorist-abetting news scoops are more important to you than our national security or the lives of innocent civilians and Soldiers. It bothers you that defending ourselves gets in the way of your elitist sport of politics and your ignorant editorializing. There is as much blood on your hands as is on the hands of murdering terrorists. Don't ever doubt that. Your frolics will only serve to extend this war as they extended Vietnam . If you want our Soldiers home as you claim, knock off the crap and try supporting your country ahead of supporting your silly political aims and aiding our enemies.Yes, I'm questioning your patriotism. Your loyalty ends with self. I'm also questioning why you're stealing air that decent Americans could be breathing. You don't deserve the protection of our men and women in uniform. You need to run away from this war, this country. Leave the war to the people who have the will to see it through and the country to people who are willing to defend it.Our country has two enemies:

Has Anyone Heard From The Pied Piper?

Frequently in this troubled world, things are not what they appear to be; and no place is this truth more evident in our crumbling society and visibly on public display than within the "promised land of politics," which is daily manipulated and compromised by silver-tongued, self-serving politicians who can't seem to distinguish between HOPE, HYPE, and HYPERBOLE.

A good friend has just sent me a troubling message, which has a familiar story line involving a certain Pied Piper; but this one is not from Hamlin. But then I appear to digress: it doesn't really matter where he and his cohorts are from . . . it's where they are taking us that should have our rapt, undivided focus, and attention.

Once upon a time . . .

There was a Pied Piper who said, “We live in the greatest country in the world. Help me change it!”

And the people said, “Change is good!”

Then he said, “We are going to tax the rich fat-cats,"

And the people said “Sock it to them!” “and redistribute their wealth.” And the people said, “Show me the money!”

And then he said, “Redistribution of wealth is good for everybody”

And Joe the plumber said, are you kidding me?” And Joe’s personal records were hacked and publicized.

And one lone reporter asked, “Isn’t that Marxist policy?” And she was banished from the kingdom!

Then someone asked, “With no foreign relations experience, how will you deal with radical terrorists?”

And the Pied Piper said, “Simple. I’ll sit down and talk with them and show them how nice we really are and they’ll forget that they ever wanted to kill us all!” Then the Pied Piper said, “I’ll give 95% of you lower taxes.”

And one, lone voice said, “But 40% of us don’t pay ANY taxes..”

So the Pied Piper said, “Then I’ll give you some of the taxes the fat-cats pay!”

And the people said, “Show me the money!”

Then the Pied Piper said, “I’ll tax your Capital Gains when you sell your homes!”

And the people yawned and the slumping housing market collapsed.

And he said, “I’ll mandate employer- funded health care for EVERY worker and raise the minimum wage.”

And the people said, “Gim’me some of that!”

Then he said, “I’ll penalize employers who ship jobs overseas.”

And the people said, “Where’s my rebate check?”

Then the Pied Piper actually said, “I’ll bankrupt the coal industry and electricity rates will skyrocket!”

And the people said, “Coal is dirty, coal is evil, no more coal! But we don’t care for that part about higher electric rates.”

So the Pied Piper said, “Not to worry. If your rebate isn’t enough to cover your expenses, we’ll bail you out. Just sign up with ACORN and your troubles are over!” Then he said, “Illegal immigrants feel scorned and slighted. Let’s grant them amnesty, Social Security, free education, free lunches, free medical care, bi-lingual signs and guaranteed housing.”

And the people said, “Ole`! Bravo!” And they made him King!

And so it came to pass that employers, facing spiraling costs and ever-higher taxes, raised their prices and laid off workers. Others simply gave up and went out of business and the economy slowed even further.

Then the Pied Piper said, “I am the Messiah and I’m here to save you! We’ll just print more money so everyone will have enough!”

But our foreign trading partners said, “Wait a minute. Your dollar isn’t worth what it was. You’ll have to pay more.”

And the people said, “Wait a minute. That’s not fair!”

And the world said, “Neither are these other, idiotic programs you’ve embraced. You’ve become a Socialist state and a second-rate power. Now you’ll play by our rules!”

And the people said, “What have we done?” But it was too late.

If you think this is a fairy tale, open your eyes and ears. It’s happening RIGHT NOW! Did you know the president’s name is really an acronym… One Big Astounding Mistake America.

It seems that most of our politicians, including President Obama, believe that we can return this nation to prosperity by spending ourselves deeper into debt. It's small wonder that such individuals are elected to their positions and sustained in power by a lot of foolish Americans who think that all is well as long as they get a portion of the money for themselves.

Lest we forget . . . in the original fairy tale, the townsfolk lost that which they valued the most when it finally came time to pay the piper; and they refused! Has anyone heard from the Pied Piper lately? I think that I hear some familiar music in the air nearby . . .

The Empty Suit "Obama" Strikes Again

The empty suit has come up with another stupid idea right behind having returning soldiers pay their own medical care. Thank goodness that brilliant idea died but think for a minute about the elected leaders who even thought about it.

Now these same people are testing the idea about releasing some of the "Gitmo" detainees into America and then pay for housing, medical and anything the average American is entitled to. What the hell do these people not understand?

These are the same people that our soldiers captured on the battlefield who wanted to KILL US. Just think, next week they may be living down the street or next door to you.

With this idea being floated, our elected leaders no longer care about the safety of the American Citizen if they are willing to release "Gitmo" detainees into our neighborhoods.

Remember, IF YOU VOTED HIM IN, you have no one to blame but yourself for killing of America.

You have Elected the End of America

Yes, I can see the end of America as we have known it. All of us can name elected officials who are destroying our country. I have been told to keep quiet and just go along with it as they (government) will come after me. To hell with keeping quiet as my father fought for our freedom and to just keep quiet while Washington takes our freedoms won't happen.

To name few of BIG Brothers ideas:

Control the temperatures in our homes!!!!!!!

Stop selling certain rifles because of Mexican Drug Gangs!!!!!!!!!!

Stop selling Black cars as they use too much energy!!!!!!!!

Take over private companies that Washington feel may harm us!!!!!!!!

Join other countries in a New World Currency!!!!!!!!!!!!

Allow the United Nations to oversee all Health care!!!!!!!!!!

Pay for Illegal Aliens College Expense!!!!!!!!!!

The people who wanted change may get far more then they expected. Remember who Obama was tutored by growing up? Frank was his name and a communist. Examine the man's history and learn for yourself about his beliefs. Obama has been and will continue to try to change America from a FREE country to some mix of Socialist/Communist country. This is what he was taught in is childhood and this is what is happening to our country.

I heard on the TV last week the word "Revolution" and it was an eye opening moment. My father warned me over 20 years ago that our own government was slowly taking our rights away and now I agree. I don't know what kind of Revolution we need but I pray it is peaceful.

The vast Silent Majority has to wake and take back our country. We the people of Middle America need to rise up and stop Obama, Pelosi, Rahm, Geithner, Holder and the others from their agenda. The American people will only take losing freedoms for so long before it gets ugly. Tea parties are spreading all over our country and if our government doesn't wake up, it could turn ugly.

When you have someone who has never done anything beyond a community organizer in his life as president, we have a problem. This empty suit is leading us toward a country we will not know. Think of it, we have him (Obama) as president and jumping Joe next in line. This idiot told a man in a wheelchair to stand up during the election.

Obama did nothing in the IL senate except sign onto bills written by others at the very last minute so he could get credit for them and while in the US Senate, nothing except to run for president. Empty suit, empty head and without the TelePrompter, he can't speak as he hasn't an original thought.

Obama Job Reduction

Letter from the Boss,

As the CEO of this business that employs 140 people, I have accepted the fact that Barack Obama is our new President, and that our taxes and government fees will now increase in a BIG way. To compensate for this additional overhead, I figure that the clients will have to see an increase in our fees of about 8% but since we cannot raise those prices right now due to the dismal state of our economy, we will have to lay off several of our employees instead.

This unfortunate economic reality has really been eating at me for a while, as we believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who will have to go. After giving it considerable thought, this is what I did: I strolled thru our parking lot and found 11 Obama bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They wanted change; I gave it to them. If you have a better idea, let me know.
