Moderate Democrats (Blue Dog) and Republicans (Moderate/Conservative) need to start building for the next election. Based on what the Messiah stated during the election, the liberal wing of the democrat party is going to try to jam down the throat of the American people spending that will destroy our country. Pelosi has already stated that no drilling will take place as she knows best what is good for our country. I wonder who made her god?
We need to follow the Obama road map to victory for America. Once his programs are enacted and the people realize he is another TAX & SPEND liberal (or worse), his party may be rejected by enough voters to make a difference. We will have to overcome the millions of Americans who don't pay taxes but will get a tax cut (welfare) check. Yes call it what it is, welfare. It will be very hard for the tax payers to get enough of the silent majority out but we must take our government back to the point our foundering fathers would recognize.
Maybe we can start something called "Americas Vote" that can start at the grass roots with the PTA, Young Republican, and Young Democratic groups where we can once again talk about the Constitution and American history.

So long as we elect people who play the race card (Obama) during an election it will be a divided country. Mainstream media wouldn't call Obama's hand when he did and it certainly helped him. Democratic Campaign Committee Chairman Charles Schumer defended the so-called Fairness Doctrine regarding talk radio, telling Fox News: “I think we should all be fair and balanced, don’t you?”
The Fairness Doctrine, repealed during the Ronald Reagan administration, would require radio stations to balance conservative talk hosts with liberal ones. In a Fox interview Tuesday morning, the senator from New York was asked if he supported telling radio stations what their content should be. “The very same people who don’t want the Fairness Doctrine want the FCC [Federal Communications Commission] to limit pornography on the air,” Schumer said.
“I am for that . . . But you can’t say government hands off in one area to a commercial enterprise but you are allowed to intervene in another. That’s not consistent.” In 2007, Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin, D-Ill., a close ally of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama, told The Hill newspaper: “It’s time to reinstitute the Fairness Doctrine. I have this old-fashioned attitude that when Americans hear both sides of the story, they’re in a better position to make a decision.”
Conservatives fear that forcing stations to give liberal hosts equal time on the air would cut into profits so significantly that radio executives would scale back on conservative radio programming to avoid escalating costs and interference from the FCC, according to The Hill.
They also note that conservative radio shows have been far more successful than liberal ones, making them easy targets for such legislation.
A recent Zogby poll disclosed that those who said they would vote for Barack Obama support reinstating the Fairness Doctrine by a margin of 53 percent to 37 percent, with 10 percent not sure.

Politicalsass does not support the Fairness Doctrine as it will be used to silence the Conservative movement and is against the first amendment.
In the United States, the Bill of Rights is the term for the first ten amendments to the United States Constitution. These amendments explicitly limit the Federal government's powers, protecting the rights of the people by preventing Congress from abridging freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, freedom of religious worship, and the right to bear arms, preventing unreasonable search and seizure, cruel and unusual punishment, and self-incrimination, and guaranteeing due process of law and a speedy public trial with an impartial jury. In addition, the Bill of Rights states that "the enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people," and reserves all powers not specifically granted to the Federal government to the citizenry or States. These amendments came into effect on December 15, 1791, when ratified by three-fourths of the States.
Lets All Thank Congress for the Spending
As a lifelong conservative I have believed in smaller government and less government spending. Bush became president and had the opportunity to shrink government and reduce spending but didn't. He requested increase in spending and congress allowed as much as they could and now the so called leaders in congress blame Bush for all the spending.
What lies, THEY (congress) control what is spent not the president. Not one president has ever controlled what is spent, only congress (democrat controlled last two years) can spend our money and they spent this country into debt. They ALL (congress) sold out to special interest, and now cry about how the evil republicans put us in so much debt. Get a grip, Democrats sold us out as they have controlled what has been spent for the last two years. Yes Bush requested this and that but congress had the power to stop the spending. Sen. Clinton (D) supported an earmark for a "Woodstock" museum, Sen Stevens (R) supported an earmark for the famous bridge to nowhere. This is just a joke as none of us want our money spent for such nonsense. Our government is supposed to spend our money wisely but that is just a pipe dream.
Americans were to stupid to understand CONGRESS should have been voted out as they have allowed elected presidents to piss (excuse the language) away our money for years. American must wake the hell up and take control of our country again as it is almost to late if it isn't already.

CONGRESS writes the laws and writes the bills that spends our money,
NOT ANY PRESIDENT.
Our next election is two years away and maybe the American people will wake up and vote the bums out. I don't care if they are Democrats or Republicans who waste our money and take our freedoms. Those who do, must go and go before it is too late.
AMERICA LOST
There once was a great country that offered freedom of religion, free speech, and the opportunity to earn as much as you could without the government taking all it could. That great country died on November 4Th, 2008 when the American people elected a closet Socialist who wants to "Spread the Wealth". I don't seem to remember the constitution saying anything about "Spread the Wealth". Our forefathers understood that if you worked hard in this country you would be rewarded with a good life. Throughout our countries history we had groups of people that had more then others and that may have been from hard work, inheritance, or pure luck.
Being raised in a low to middle income family I saw my father work 70+ hours a week to take care of his family. Yes, times were hard but he never looked for a handout or wanted to be given money from other citizens. Our society now has become a welfare country where the majority don't want to work hard and would rather have it given to them. I saw this in the early 70's while working in the Small Loan Business and it has gotten so much worse.
If things continue the way they are, 40% of the people will pay ALL the taxes and 60% will have a free ride. When our Democrat leaders talk about a tax cut for 95% of Americans they lie as it is nothing but welfare for the lazy. Almost 40% of all Americans pay no tax now which means a check going to those that pay nothing.
I am going to find all the tax shelters I can where the government can't touch the money I earn. My 401K will be closed (transferred) before Obama and the democrats try to get there hands on it. I strongly suggest ALL 401K holders do the same. If you don't think they will try, remember what they do to every program they control.
By the end of Obama's 1st term, America will have become a second rate country with leaders like Dodd, Frank, Pelosi, Hagle, Clinton, and the rest of the liberals who hate America and what it has stood for. Remember, most Democrats believe everything in the world that is wrong is America's fault.

A Must Read, This morning, from a cave somewhere in Pakistan , Taliban Minister of Migration Mohammed Omar, warned the United States that if military actions against Iraq continue, Taliban authorities intend to cut off America 's supply of Convenience Store Managers and possibly Motel 6 Managers. And if this action does not yield sufficient results, Cab Drivers will be next, followed by DELL and AOL Customer Service Reps. Finally, if all else fails, they have threatened to send us no more candidates for President of the United States ! It's gonna get ugly!!!

It's Too Late for America
Many of our gullible Americans have been taken in by a Charlatan named Barack Hussein Obama as the former secretary of state Lawrence S. Eagleburger put it today. That's a good word for Obama that I hadn't thought of before. Considering the people he associates with I always thought of him as a Socialist/Communists based on his extremely liberal schooling/friends and associates.
Two of his high profile friends included: Frank the Communist and Williams Ayers the Terrorists. Frank helped guide Obama during his childhood and Ayers helped begin his political career. The most liberal senator and with friends like this what do you expect.
When Obama the Socialist begins messing up the country worse then it is, all you folks who voted for this man look in the mirror. YOU CAUSED THIS. I don't want to hear any crying when more of our rights are taken or BIG BROTHER sticks his hand in your pocket deeper. No where in the Constitution does it say for the government to take our hard earned money and pass it to others who for one reason or another are either to lazy to make as much.
Most of us start with nothing but a Government education and go from there. The ones that tough it out and stay in school normally succeed while the ones who try the easy way fail and then blame everyone else.
I will do my best not to owe any federal taxes so I do not have to "SPREAD THE WEALTH" to the people who want a hand out instead of a hand up.
