Barack Obama has changed his retirement plans. When the former president thought his successor would be fellow Democrat Hillary Clinton, he joked with retired talk-show host David Letterman about playing dominoes. In 2015, he told a crowd of students that he planned to eventually return to the work of advancing his agenda in local communities. But after Donald Trump’s upset victory, Obama chose a different profession: the media.

The former president is not the only one from his administration who is now in media. A surprising number of high-level officials, including top spies, now work for technology, media and news firms. Yet looking back, this shouldn’t be surprising. During Obama’s eight years in office, his administration’s intelligence community became entwined with the national media to an extent that should shock anyone who believes in free speech and fact-based reporting.

Now Obama and his spies are working for Netflix, cnn, nbc, Google, Facebook and other media outlets. These “deep state” officials are advancing the same agenda they advanced when in government: Take down Donald Trump and, as Obama said during his election campaign, “fundamentally change America.”

The Bible foretold that truth would be cast down “to the ground” in the end time by an organized host of people empowered by a dark spiritual force. The work of the Obama administration continues as left-wing radicals attack the Trump administration, the U.S. Constitution and the moral laws of the Bible—using the power of technology and the press. You need to understand the powerful, unseen spirit empowering this network!

Television Spies

One of the most shockingly illegal examples of the extremes to which the Obama administration went to undermine the rule of law while President Obama was still in office was the Clinton-Steele dossier. Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry exposed the details of this treasonous activity in “Saving America From the Radical Left—Temporarily.”

In summary, the Obama Justice Department used an unverified dossier of propaganda, paid for by the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, to obtain a warrant to spy on the Trump campaign. On Jan. 5, 2017, Obama gathered his top national security chiefs together at the White House to discuss how they could undermine the Trump administration after Mr. Trump took office. Present were President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, National Security Agency director Michael Rogers, cia director John Brennan, fbi director James Comey, National Security Adviser Susan Rice and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates.

These politicians, security officials and spies were literally strategizing how to continue using false accusations to investigate their new boss—which is treason. A big part of the strategy they concocted was targeted leaks of false information to the media. Comey informed Mr. Trump that cnn had a dossier of salacious rumors about him, but not that the fbi, of which Comey was the director, was investigating him. Clapper discussed the dossier with cnn’s Jake Tapper around the same time Comey was briefing Trump on the same topic. After this discussion, cnn reported that Comey had briefed Trump on Jan. 6, 2017, and Buzzfeed published the entire 35-page Clinton-Steele dossier.

Once the media had published the dossier, Clapper resigned as director of National Intelligence on Jan. 20, 2017—the day Donald Trump took office. Eight months later, cnnhired Clapper as a national security analyst, giving at least the unsightly appearance that the news network was paying a former director of National Intelligence for information he leaked to them.

And Clapper is far from the only former Obama administration official now working in the media.

Barack and Michelle Obama have signed a deal with the online video giant Netflix. They will be producing political documentaries, including an adaptation of Michael Lewis’s book, The Fifth Risk: Undoing Democracy, about Mr. Trump’s failure to appoint qualified people to government positions. “With Higher Ground Productions, we hope to bring people together around common values and uncommon stories,” Obama announced in February. But his real agenda is to undermine his successor by becoming the first former president to produce a movie about a sitting president.

Susan Rice also works for Netflix as a member of its board of directors. She recently criticized President Trump on msnbc for suggesting he might accept information on opponents from foreign governments—despite her role in the Obama administration’s use of Russian gossip to undermine Mr. Trump’s presidency.

James Clapper still works as a cnn national security analyst. He condemns Trump for declassifying documents related to the surveillance of his campaign during the 2016 election, and is spreading the rumor that Trump is encouraging Russia to interfere in the 2020 elections.

cnn has also hired former cia director Michael Hayden, former cia agent Steven Hall, former fbi agent Asha Rangappa, former fbi agent James Gagliano, former Deputy National Security Adviser Tony Blinken and former National Security Council adviser Samantha Vinograd.

Meanwhile, nbc has hired former cia director John Brennan as a national security analyst. Like Clapper, Brennan has been accused of leaking to the press classified information claiming Russia had meddled in the 2016 election. His goal is to defame President Trump—an agenda he can continue pursuing in his new job.

nbc has also hired Chuck Rosenberg, former chief of staff for fbi director James Comey; Frank Figliuzzi, former chief of fbi counterintelligence; Juan Zarate, former deputy national security adviser; and Ken Dilanian, the Los Angeles Times reporter who was caught sending drafts of his articles to Obama’s cia for approval before publishing.

Now the same spies who tried to rig the 2016 presidential election with lies, innuendo and conspiracy theories work in mainstream media.

These former cia agents, fbi officials and national security bureaucrats have become some of the best-known faces in a new, hybrid industry where “deep state” spies are rebranded as journalists.

The major media hiring spies and agents from the Obama administration is concerning. Since President Trump took office, his Justice Department has more than tripled the number of investigations into government leaks to media outlets. Many Obama-era intelligence officials are now working for the very news agencies that publish these leaks.

A truly free press prioritizes evidence-based reporting to inform people about the world. Few things are worse for democracy than journalists colluding with political operatives and spies to misinform the public. Now the same spies who tried to rig the 2016 presidential election with lies, innuendo and conspiracy theories work in mainstream media!

Silicon Valley

During his time in office, Obama was known as “Silicon Valley’s president.” Big tech companies like Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft and Google had a shockingly close relationship with his administration. Data from the Campaign on Accountability shows that Google representatives attended White House meetings more than once a week during Obama’s presidency. Almost 250 people left the Obama administration to work for Google or vice versa during this time.

Eric Schmidt, executive chairman of Google’s parent company, supported both of Obama’s presidential campaigns. And it was Obama’s Federal Trade Commission that ruled that Google was not an Internet monopoly that needed to be split into smaller companies. It is hard to tell how much of the alignment of purpose between Silicon Valley and the Democratic Party is coincidental since they are both run by leftists, and how much is due to actual collusion with “deep state” agencies.

In 2013, former government contractor Edward Snowden provided proof of prism, a spying program in which nine major tech companies (Apple, aol, Dropbox, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, PalTalk, Skype, Yahoo and YouTube) provided Obama’s nsa and fbiaccess to their users’ e-mails, audio, video, photographs, documents and location data. What did the Obama administration need all this data on U.S. citizens for? An increasing amount of evidence suggests that this data was and is being used to manipulate elections.

“Since Edward Snowden’s revelations about the extent and depth of surveillance by the nsa, it has become evident that Silicon Valley is a vital node of the deep state,” writes former congressional aide Mike Lofgren in The Deep State.

Congress has since passed a bill that reins back the nsa’s mass surveillance programs, but Google and Facebook continue to collect vast troves of personal data on American citizens. And these companies continue to enjoy a cozy relationship with former President Obama and Obama-era security officials. Two months after he left office, Obama privately met with leaders from several tech companies at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, California. The Obama administration’s director for cybersecurity policy, Nathaniel Gleicher, is now head of cybersecurity policy at Facebook. Former Department of Homeland Security analyst Jason Ally now works as a search quality analyst at Google. Former nsa analyst Andrew Honig now works as a software engineering manager at Google.

Censoring Conservatives

Google employees used a variety of means to boost Hillary Clinton and damage Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election. A study presented at the 97th annual meeting of the Western Psychological Association found that pro-Clinton search results were “more than twice” as common on Google as on Yahoo. A study by Leo Goldstein found that Google searches suppressed conservative sites like Drudge Report, PJ Media and American Thinker.

In late May, undercover investigators working for Project Veritas secretly recorded a conversation with Jen Gennai, the head of responsible innovation at Google, a department established to manage artificial intelligence “fairness” and “ethics.” Gennai said Google is specifically engineering its algorithms to prevent a repeat of the 2016 U.S. presidential election. An anonymous Google insider told Project Veritas that Google is using something it calls “machine-learning fairness” to promote its political agenda. Leaked documents show that this tool uses “artificial intelligence” to accomplish a very human goal: promote a liberal agenda. When you search for something using Google, the company’s leadership and “responsible innovation” team have engineered your search results to promote liberalism and suppress conservatism.

This is deeply concerning, as Google is the most popular search engine in the world. More than 90 percent of all online searches worldwide are conducted through Google or its subsidiary YouTube. Now Google engineers are deciding what information should be available to American citizens by filtering conservative websites from their platform.

At a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on July 17, Dr. Robert Epstein testified that Google influenced millions of votes in the 2016 elections through its manipulative search-engine techniques. Dr. Epstein, a liberal who has conducted extensive research on search-engine bias, further warned that 15 million votes are in jeopardy in the 2020 election.

“Google algorithms are having a dramatic impact on the thinking, behaviors, attitudes, beliefs, purchases and voting preferences of 2½ billion people, right now,” Epstein told Breitbart News after his Senate hearing. “That’s the power they have. That’s the power they’re exercising. This is what a totalitarian regime does. This is not a monopoly. A monopoly fixes prices. That’s not what this is. This is way beyond that. This is a repressive government. This is a totalitarian, authoritarian government that at this point rules much of the world.”

Even though the radical left has lost control of the presidency, the Senate and the Supreme Court, it still controls Silicon Valley and the mainstream media—which means it has tremendous power over people’s minds.

YouTube has shut down entire conservative video channels for ideological reasons. YouTube censors shut down the channels of Legal Insurrection and Pamela Geller after they posted videos supporting Israel. The censors have also placed more than 100 PragerU videos from conservative educator Dennis Prager on “restricted mode.” This mode was meant to censor inappropriate sexual content from children, not to prevent them from watching educational videos with titles like: “If You Live in Freedom, Thank the British Empire,” “Why Isn’t Communism as Hated as Nazism?” “Make Men Masculine Again,” and “The Ten Commandments: What You Should Know.”

This type of Big Tech censorship is ideologically driven to limit free speech and “to fundamentally change America.”

Project Veritas caught nine current and former Twitter employees on hidden camera admitting that Twitter algorithms purposely hide tweets if they use words like “God” or “America.” Twitter also restricts advertisements from pro-life organizations while allowing pro-abortion ads from Planned Parenthood.

Former Obama administration officials and their allies in Silicon Valley and the major media are at war with conservatives and the Trump administration. President Trump has warned that continuing censorship of American citizens on social media platforms is a threat to their constitutionally guaranteed freedom of speech. Yet the danger posed by this type of censorship goes beyond an attempt to undermine a certain president or party. It is actually a weapon used by radical socialists to attack both “God” and “America.”

Truth Cast Down

President Trump is leading a populist revolt against the technocratic establishment (aka the “deep state”) that the Obama administration built up, and he is working to restore the rule of law in America. But Obama and his top brass are fighting back using the extensive media connections they have developed.

Bible prophecy has a lot to say about an evil ruler who casts the truth to the ground in the end time.

“Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered” (Daniel 8:11-12). Anciently, Seleucid Emperor Antiochus Epiphanes fulfilled this prophecy when he desecrated the temple in Jerusalem with an idol bearing his likeness. But the book of Daniel is primarily for this end time (Daniel 12:4). So this prophecy about Antiochus has a dual fulfillment, and is prophecy for today.

Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry explains in his booklet America Under Attack that there is more than one Antiochus figure on the scene today. There is a spiritual Antiochus who “cast down the truth to the ground” inside God’s Church. But there is also a political figure that comes in the spirit of Antiochus to “cast down the truth to the ground” in the United States. As the most biblically hostile U. S. president in history, Barack Obama fulfilled the role of America’s political Antiochus. He is out of office now, but his administration is still at work in the mainstream media. This is a major reason why the truths of the Bible are under attack in America today as never before.

Netflix, cnn, nbc, Google, Facebook and a few other major media outlets are monopolizing the marketplace of ideas and acting—in the words of Dr. Epstein—like a totalitarian state. The same lawless spirit being who controlled the mind of the ancient king Antiochus Epiphanes is suppressing the truth today.

Our people don’t understand their Bibles as they once did, but many scriptures reveal this spirit as Satan the devil.

“If you look at the whole story in biblical prophecy, you see that Satan has a three-pronged attack,” Mr. Flurry writes in America Under Attack. “First he attacks God’s Church. Second, he tears down the values within the nations of Israel. Finally, he will bring the Holy Roman Empire to destroy those nations in the Great Tribulation.” That is Satan’s master plan for destroying spiritual and physical Israel!

There is still a major undercurrent against the rule of law and biblical morality today. The deep state, built up by President Obama, continues to oppose President Trump with any means it can find—legal or illegal. Even though Obama is no longer in office, this spirit of lawlessness persists. And a new deep state–media hybrid is blinding many of our people to reality.

A haze of deception enshrouds the world. When people do not sincerely love the truth, they come to believe lies (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12). Antiochus and his “host” of supporters are able to “cast down the truth to the ground” by “reason of transgression.” The devil is empowering this “host” to exploit America’s lawlessness and lack of faith. Society has rejected most of the biblical truths it once understood and is not receptive to learning biblical truths it does not understand. The one and only way to defeat the devil, defend the truth, and solve our problems is to stop transgressing God’s law and fervently pray for more faith. The sad truth is that America will have to endure a time of intense suffering due to its own rebellion. But the wonderful truth is that this time of suffering will bring the nation to a point where it is willing to love and accept God’s truth when Jesus Christ returns!

Trey Gowdy, South Carolina Congressman, recently responded to a reporter about the military in response to a question from a CNN reporter about the DoD ban of transgenders from joining the U.S. armed forces.  As Trey typically does so very well, he nailed it rather succinctly.

   Question:  How can President Trump claim to represent all U.S citizens, regardless of sexual orientation, when he banned transgenders from joining the military?  Isn't that discrimination?

Trump Flirts With $15 Billion Bailout for Iran, Sources Say

President Donald Trump has left the impression with foreign officials, members of his administration, and others involved in Iranian negotiations that he is actively considering a French plan to extend a $15 billion credit line to the Iranians if Tehran comes back into compliance with the Obama-era nuclear deal.

Trump has in recent weeks shown openness to entertaining President Emmanuel Macron’s plan, according to four sources with knowledge of Trump’s conversations with the French leader. Two of those sources said that State Department officials, including Secretary Mike Pompeo, are also open to weighing the French proposal, in which the Paris government would effectively ease the economic sanctions regime that the Trump administration has applied on Tehran for more than a year.

The deal put forward by France would compensate Iran for oil sales disrupted by American sanctions. A large portion of Iran’s economy relies on cash from oil sales. Most of that money is frozen in bank accounts across the globe. The $15 billion credit line would be guaranteed by Iranian oil. In exchange for the cash, Iran would have to come back into compliance with the nuclear accord it signed with the world’s major powers in 2015. Tehran would also have to agree not to threaten the security of the Persian Gulf or to impede maritime navigation in the area. Lastly, Tehran would have to commit to regional Middle East talks in the future. 

While Trump has been skeptical of helping Iran without preconditions in public, the president has at least hinted at an openness to considering Macron’s pitch for placating the Iranian government—a move intended to help bring the Iranians to the negotiating table and to rescue the nuclear agreement that Trump and his former national security adviser John Bolton worked so hard to torpedo.

At the G7 meeting in Biarritz, France last month, Trump told reporters that Iran might need a “short-term letter of credit or loan” that could “get them over a very rough patch.”

Why Trump Wants the Ayatollah’s Cash

Iranian Prime Minister Javad Zarif made a surprise appearance at that meeting. To Robert Malley, who worked on Iran policy during the Obama administration, that visit indicated that “Trump must have signaled openness to Macron’s idea, otherwise Zarif would not have flown to Biarritz at the last minute.” 

“Clearly, Trump responded to Macron in a way that gave the French president a reason to invite Zarif, and Zarif a reason to come,” he said.

The French proposal would require the Trump administration to issue waivers on Iranian sanctions. That would be a major departure from the Trump administration’s so-called “maximum pressure” campaign to exact financial punishments on the regime in Tehran. Ironically, during his time in office, President Barack Obama followed a not-dissimilar approach to bring the Iranians to the negotiating table, throttling Iran’s economy with sanctions before pledging relief for talks. The negotiations resulted in the Iran nuke deal that President Trump called “rotten”—and pulled the U.S. out of during his first term.

Trump’s flirtations with—if not outright enthusiasm toward—chummily sitting down with foreign dictators and America’s geopolitical foes are largely driven by his desire for historic photo ops and to be seen as the dealmaker-in-chief. It’s a desire so strong that it can motivate him to upturn years of his own administration’s policymaking and messaging.

And while President Trump has not agreed to anything yet, he did signal a willingness to cooperate on such a proposal at various times throughout the last month, including at the G7 meeting in Biarritz, France, according to four sources with knowledge of the president’s conversations about the deal.

Several sources told The Daily Beast that foreign officials are expecting Trump to either agree to cooperate on the French deal or to offer to ease some sanctions on Tehran. Meanwhile, President Trump is also considering meeting Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in September. 

“I do believe they’d like to make a deal. If they do, that’s great. And if they don’t, that’s great too,” Trump told reporters Wednesday. “But they have tremendous financial difficulty, and the sanctions are getting tougher and tougher.” When asked if he would ease sanctions against Iran in order to get a meeting with Iran Trump simply said: “We’ll see what happens. I think Iran has a tremendous, tremendous potential.”

Spokespeople for the State Department, White House, and Treasury did not provide comment for this story. A spokesperson for the National Security Council simply referred The Daily Beast to Trump’s Wednesday comments on Iran. Bolton didn’t comment on Wednesday, either.

Trump’s willingness to discuss the credit line with the French, the Iranians and also Japanese President Shinzo Abe frustrated Bolton, who had for months urged Trump not to soften his hard line against the regime in Tehran. 

Bolton, who vociferously opposed the Macron proposal, departed the Trump administration on explicitly and mutually bad terms on Tuesday. On Bolton’s way out of the door, Trump and senior administration officials went out of their way to keeppublicly insisting he was fired, as Bolton kept messaging various news outlets that Trump couldn’t fire him because he quit. The former national security adviser and lifelong hawk had ruffled so many feathers and made so many enemies in the building that his senior colleagues had repeatedly tried to snitch him out to Trump for allegedly leaking to the media. 

On Tuesday afternoon, Bolton messaged The Daily Beast to say that allegations about him being a leaker were “flatly incorrect.”

At a press briefing held shortly after Bolton’s exit on Tuesday, neither Secretary of State Mike Pompeo nor Treasury secretary Steve Mnuchin showed much sympathy for Bolton’s falling star in Trumpworld. “There were many times Ambassador Bolton and I disagreed,” Pompeo told reporters. “That’s to be sure, but that’s true with a lot of people with whom I interact.”

According to those who know Pompeo well, the secretary’s public statement was a glaring understatement.

Trump Approved Iran Strikes Knowing Body Count Would Be High

“By the end he viewed [Bolton] as an arsonist hell bent on setting fire to anyone’s agenda that didn’t align with his own—including the president’s,” said a source close to Pompeo who’s discussed Bolton with the secretary in recent weeks. Pompeo “believes him to be among the most self-centered people he’s ever worked with. A talented guy, no doubt, but not someone who was willing to subordinate his ego to the president’s foreign-policy agenda.” 

Whether or not the president follows through with supporting Macron is unclear, as Trump is known to consider or temporarily back high-profile domestic or foreign policy initiatives, only to quickly backtrack or about-face.

NORTH CAROLINA JAILS FREE HUNDREDS OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT CRIMINALS WANTED BY FEDS

Weeks after Judicial Watch reported that the sheriff of North Carolina’s biggest county released numerous violent illegal immigrant criminals from custody, new federal stats reveal that the problem is statewide. Nearly 500 offenders with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers have been discharged into communities throughout the Tar Heel State this fiscal year, which doesn’t end until next month so the number is likely to grow. A Charlotte news outlet obtained the latest figures from ICE, which operates under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In the article a senior DHS source condemns North Carolina law enforcement officials, reminding them that they are obstructing federal law and endangering the American public.

So far 489 illegal aliens with ICE detainers have been discharged from North Carolina jails in the last ten months, including those charged with serious crimes such as homicide, kidnapping, arson and sex offenses. The new data does not break down which county jail the perpetrators were released from, but we know from previous disclosures that Mecklenburg County, the state’s largest, is notorious for protecting illegal aliens from the feds. In fact, when the current sheriff, Garry McFadden got elected in 2018, he immediately ended a program known as 287(g) that notifies ICE of jail inmates in the country illegally. The program enhances the safety and security of communities by creating partnerships with state and local law enforcement agencies to identify and remove aliens who are amenable to removal from the United States. It is a mutually beneficial agreement, ICE says, that identifies, arrests and serves warrants and detainers of incarcerated foreign-born criminals. The program has identified and removed from the U.S. gang members, sex offenders and murderers and has reduced the number of criminal offenders that are released back into communities. “Federal, state and local officers working together provide a tremendous benefit to public safety through increased law enforcement communication and overall community policing effectiveness,” according to ICE.

But Mecklenburg County proudly offers illegal aliens sanctuary and evidently that includes violent offenders. ICE recently disclosed that McFadden’s agency has freed more than 20 serious criminals, including rapists, child molesters, kidnappers, burglars, and those charged with gun-related and drug crimes. Most of the illegal immigrants are from Central America and Mexico, but a few are from India, Afghanistan, Liberia and Sri Lanka. Among them is Oscar Pacheco-Leonardo, a previously deported Honduran charged with rape and child sex offenses. Thankfully, ICE arrested him last month during a targeted enforcement operation because Mecklenburg County law enforcement officials released him from custody despite his violent history. The federal agency accused Mecklenburg County of releasing a serious public safety threat onto the streets of Charlotte where he was free to potentially harm others for nearly two months until his capture by ICE. “The Mecklenburg County sheriff’s decision to restrict cooperation with ICE serves as an open invitation to aliens who commit criminal offenses that Mecklenburg County is a safe haven for persons seeking to evade federal authorities, and residents of Mecklenburg County are less safe today than last year due these policies,” the agency’s regional director said in a statement.

Incredibly, a growing number of local municipalities offer illegal immigrants sanctuary and refuse to cooperate with federal authorities, even when it involves dangerous criminals. Just a few months ago Judicial Watch reported that various California law enforcement agencies released 16 illegal immigrants with criminal records during a three-month period. Some were arrested and released multiple times by the same local law enforcement agency after committing felonies. In all of the cases, ICE issued detainers but local police ignored the federal agency to protect the illegal alien from deportation, instead freeing the perpetrator back into the community. Offenders include Mexican, Honduran and Salvadoran nationals charged with murder, rape, assault with a deadly weapon, spousal abuse, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of illegal drugs and other serious crimes. One 23-year-old Honduran man was booked and released in San Francisco ten times in less than a year for crimes ranging from burglary, vehicle theft and driving without a license. In each of the arrests, ICE issued a detainer but the San Francisco Police Department disregarded it and let the man go.

Big Mouth Obama, The Master Leaker

The Obama administration had a history of compromising intelligence assets, misjudging loyalties of informants and leaking key details of covert operations to the media, a report said.

Following reports that in 2016 the CIA decided to extract an agent from Russia, Washington Times security correspondent Rowan Scarborough noted that the Obama administration had botched another key intelligence operation years earlier.

In 2011, after the raid in Abbottabad, Pakistan that killed Al Qaida leader Osama bin Laden, Pakistani authorities “quickly hunted down and jailed a Pakistani physician, Shakeel Afridi. At great risk, he had helped the CIA pinpoint” bin Laden’s exact whereabouts, Scarborough noted.

The CIA failed to exfiltrate Afridi fast enough. He remains imprisoned today, eight years after the May 2 SEAL Team 6 raid.

Some Republicans suggested a leak-happy Obama administration betrayed Afridi.

There were excessive press leaks, former Defense Secretary Robert Gates said in his memoir “Duty”.

A day after the raid on bin Laden’s compound, then-Vice President Joe Biden identified the raiders as SEALs. President Barack Obama had refrained from doing so in a speech to the nation.

“The White House began leaking so many details about the raid that Gates publicly told Obama aides to shut up,” Scarborough wrote. Gates “said he thought he had garnered such a commitment. But within day the news media were publishing detailed graphics of the helicopter route and bin Laden compound. White House communication adviser Ben Rhodes promoted a movie idea.”

Gates wrote in his memoir:

“Before we broke up and the president headed upstairs to tell the American people what had just happened, I reminded everyone that the techniques, tactics, and procedures the SEALs had used in the bin Laden operation were used every night in Afghanistan and elsewhere in hunting down terrorists and other enemies. It was therefore essential that we agree not to release any operational details of the raid. That we killed him, I said, is all we needed to say. Everybody in that room agreed to keep mum on details. That commitment lasted about five hours. The initial leaks came from the White House and CIA. They just couldn’t wait to brag and to claim credit. The facts were often wrong, including details in the first press briefing. Nonetheless the information just kept pouring out. I was outraged and, at one point, told [national security adviser Thomas] Donilon, ‘Why doesn’t everybody just shut up?’ To no avail.”

Months later, a helicopter carrying SEAL Team Six warriors in Afghanistan was shot down, killing all onboard.

“Never before had a president in office released the identity of any Special Forces Team involved in a covert operation,” the father of a slain service member told Congress. “Until bin Laden was taken out, no one had really heard of SEAL Team Six. Its name and missions were always kept quiet for protection for themselves and their families.”

The Obama administration “also badly misjudged the motives of a supposed Al Qaida informant,” Scarborough noted.

“CIA officers welcomed Jordanian physician, Human Khalil Abu-Mulai al-Balawi, onto a CIA base in Afghanistan. One officer had baked him a cake. Al-Balawi went through three checkpoints unbothered. He detonated a suicide bomb killing seven American officers and contractors on Dec. 30, 2009.”

Social Security Cards, until the 1980s, expressly stated that the number and card were not to be used for identification purposes. Because nearly everyone in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the message, NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION, was removed.

Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program.

He promised:

1.) That participation in the program would be completely voluntary.
No longer voluntary.

2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual Incomes into the program.
Now 7.65% on the first $90,000. Your employer pays an equal amout. If self-employed, the rate is over %13.

3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year.
No longer tax deductible

4.) That the money the participants put into the independent 'Trust Fund' rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other government program.
Under Democrat President Lyndon Johnson, the money was moved to the General Fund and Spent.

5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income.
Under Democrats Clinton & Gore, up to 85% of your Social Security can be taxed.

Because many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to 'put away' -- you may be interested in the following:

Ilhan Omar’s Husband Wants Out After Affair Bombshell!

Rep. Ilhan Omar’s husband, Ahmed Hirsi, wants out and is ready to file for divorce from the controversial freshman congresswoman. This according to a longtime friend of the couple, who has been speaking to the New York Post.

The unnamed source told the New York tabloid that Hirsi is disgusted with Omar’s behavior and is poised to file for divorce after the revelation in a bombshell court filing that she allegedly had an affair with DC political consultant Tim Mynett. 

The Minnesota congresswoman and her husband allegedly separated in March, and Omar asked Hirsi to divorce her around that time because she didn’t want to file the papers — but Hirsi refused, telling her if she wanted a divorce she should do it herself, said the source, who has known both parties for 20 years.

But now, the husband allegedly changed his mind after Tim Mynett’s wife last week filed bombshell divorce papers claiming her husband was having an affair with the Somali-born US representative. The source tells the Post that Hirsi is angry that he had been made to look the fool by the allegations of the extramarital affair.

“I’m surprised he hasn’t filed already,” the source told The Post, adding that Hirsi was “very confused” in the wake of the bombshell allegations, but that he claims that he still loved his wife and was reluctant to expose their three children to a public divorce battle.

The freshman congresswoman, 37, insisted she and Hirsi, 39, were still together and denied the charge she was dating Mynett in an interview with CBS affiliate WCCO, on the day back in August that Mynett’s wife filed for divorce.

However, the Post has confirmed that Omar and Hirsi have been living apart since March — around the same time she was spotted having dinner with Mynett at a California restaurant — with Omar moving into a luxury condo in downtown Minneapolis and their split an “open secret” in town.

The family home they shared in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood — nicknamed “Little Mogadishu” for its large Somali population — appears to be abandoned, with the curtains drawn and cobwebs growing over the front porch, when a Post reporter visited last week.

Hirsi, a senior policy aide to a Minneapolis city councilwoman, is reportedly bouncing between friends’ houses and stays at the luxury condo when Omar isn’t in town, with the kids also spending time with a grandfather, the source said.

Omar’s Marriage History a Tangled Web

Omar and Hirsi were first engaged in 2002. But the duo never legally married; instead, they wed in a traditional Muslim ceremony and had two children before splitting up in 2008, Omar has said.

The next year, she married Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, whom she described as a “British citizen,” records show. They split up in 2011 and Omar and Hirsi got back together and had a third child in 2012, records show.

In 2017, Omar finally officially divorced Elmi. She legally wed Hirsi the next year. But they began experiencing marital problems shortly after Omar assumed office, said the source.

However, public documents obtained by The Post raise discrepancies in the timeline of Omar’s marriages to Hirsi and Elmi.

Documents suggest Omar never stopped living with Hirsi — even after they ended their religious marriage and she was legally married to Elmi. In February 2009, when Omar legally married Elmi, she listed their marital address as a property in Columbia Heights, a suburb in Minneapolis.

However, just three months later, Hirsi used the same Columbia Heights property as his personal address on business filings for his One on One Cafe Lounge.

Two months later in August 2009, Omar began studying political science at North Dakota State University.

Omar and Hirsi moved to North Dakota together with their two children, according to a 2013 article in Twin Cities Daily Planet, even though she was supposed to be estranged from Hirsi and married to Elmi.

In traffic violations from 2008 to 2012 — the entire time Omar was married to Elmi — the congresswoman and Hirsi also listed their address as the family home in Cedar-Riverside, suggesting they never stopped living together.

The congresswoman has refused to comment on both the affair allegations and the discrepancies in her marriages — dodging questions from a Post reporter at an event in Minneapolis last week.
