Americans everywhere;                                 WHO IS THIS MAN?

 

I have been very concerned for a long time about the strange and mysterious air about Barack Obama. I have asked myself many times, who is this man about whom we knew next to nothing before he burst onto the American political stage with his teleprompter reading and speaking skills asking us to hire him as our president? Ask yourself, with all honesty, what did we ever, or do we now, really know about the man, Barack Obama? He is certainly, without a doubt, the least known man ever to be elected president. Someone said shortly after his inauguration, "The political mystery of his agenda is compounded by the psychological mystery of the man." Since he is our president, however, and asking us to be re-hired for four more years we had better understand who he is and what he intends to do to the Republic of The United States of America. I have written many times my belief that Obama is the biggest fraud ever perpetrated upon the American people and his intentions to transform the United States into the Socialist States of America. He is far more dishonest and a threatening disaster to the U. S. Constitution and individual freedom than many people are willing to believe.  And to think, we did it ourselves. I am not speaking about a Democrat or a man who happens to be of a different color than me. So I ask you to not let your minds go to racism or party politics for they are not in mine. Still after almost four years the question remains, who is this man?

   It seems there is something strangely wrong with Barack Obama, and I think most of us know it. I believe it is very evident when he speaks about America. I'm sure most of us have seen and heard him in interviews and reading speeches. He displays brilliant skills on almost every subject until he comes to talking America and her exceptional-ism and goodness. Almost suddenly there is a strangeness to his manner, an unease when he talks about this country and our constitution. He appears uncomfortable and awkward. It's as if he is being forced to read something he doesn't really feel or believe. It reminds me of the scenes on TV news programs of American POW's in Vietnam or Korea being forced to read, for public perception, how good things were in captivity. His expressions, his eyes, and the tone of his voice are disconnected from his words. What he says often sounds American, but the delivery is clinical and detached. As another American has said, "His attempts at patriotic sentiment ring hollow and phony." He just doesn't seem right. He doesn't seem like....one of us.

   For most of us, being an American was a normal part of our upbringing. We recited the Pledge of Allegiance every morning in our class at school right along with our teacher. Many times it was followed by singing "God Bless America" or "America the Beautiful." Christmas was celebrated in school. In the third grade I played one of the wise men in a Christmas play performed for our parents.

   The 4th of July was a nation wide community celebration. People in communities all over America stood together and celebrated being an American, honoring America and her being exceptional. Being an American was something to celebrate and be proud of. We learned at an early age to honor the American flag. Many of the men and women of our families.... fathers, brothers, uncles, aunts and sisters fought and died for it, and thus the Republic and exceptionalism for which it stood. These and many other shared experiences before and since have created generations of Americans who cherish this land, this idea that is America. We do so with heart and soul. Standing on cue we remove our hats, place our hands over our hearts or salute, and then choke back tears as the Star Spangled Banner is played. We are Americans with the very fiber of our being. There is a common, deep, and intimate connection that Americans feel for their country. The soul of America is maintained in the hearts of her people, fiercely loyal to the vision of our founders and the ideas and precepts of our founding documents, the Declaration of Independence, United States Constitution and Bill of Rights. 

   Pause for just a moment and give some thought to the very probable difference in the shaping of a young person who, in their formative years, lived with these experiences in America and one reared and schooled in a country totally foreign to America and her founding values. These same kind of experiences did not shape the young Barack Obama. He lived, and was schooled in Indonesia for the first ten years of his life. Indonesia is a Socialist country with the largest population of Muslims of any country on earth. His mother, Ann Dunham, was an atheist. His father, Barack Obama Sr., was a Muslim; and both politically extreme in the Socialist vein. His father worked tirelessly in many parts of the world to bring all countries to Socialism with all "sharing in each others wealth", with no country, including the United States, being exceptional to another. It was his passionate dream. Barack's mother raised him with the teachings (dreams) from his father.

   Quoting, Dinesh D'Souza, who spent years researching him from birth to present day, "The real Obama is a man shaped by experiences far different from those of most Americans; he is a much stranger, more determined, and exponentially dangerous man than you've ever imagined. What really motivates Barack Obama is an inherited rage---an often masked, but profound rage that comes from his African father; an anti colonialist rage against Western dominance and most especially against the wealth and power of the very nation Barack Obama now leads."

   When he speaks his words are carefully chosen to sound American, but I believe there is a hidden meaning which bodes much more ill will toward what America is and has stood for for over 200 years. In his own words his goal is "To fundamentally change America." He seeks an America where those who succeed financially by their labors, honest enterprise, investment of their money, time and energy will have it confiscated by the government through high taxation and redistributed, again in his words, "The Redistribution of Wealth." 

   I don't believe his heart and soul are American in nature. His attitude and governmental philosophy are not American. I believe the reason he cannot speak from his heart about America is because the America you and I grew up in and was taught from the first grade to respect and love is not in his heart.

   It matters not whether you are a Democrat, Republican, Independent, Conservative, Liberal, black or white, I urge every American to be aware of the attitude and character of this man, Barack Obama. Seven short months from now America will choose to re-elect Barack Obama and either follow or watch as he leads us down the path to Socialism and the end of our nation as a Constitutional Republic, or we will choose a new course and a re-commitment, a re-dedication to the principles that have made this nation so great. The choice is ours, and ours alone.
